UNEXPLAIN INFERTILITY
HI I AM QUITE NEW TO THIS SITE, BUT I HAVE AN UNEXPLAIN INFERTILITY, MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE NOT BEEN DIGONISED WITH ANY PROBLEMS, WE CONCEIVED OUR FIRST BABY WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS, BUT WE HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR THE SECOND CHILD FOR 5YRS, WE DID FIVE IUI'S AND 1 IVF BUT WITH NO SUCCESS, CAN ANYONE HELP ME ON THIS PLEASE, I WOULD REALLY APPERCIATE

I am also new to this site though I have been lingering here for a while.
My husband and I tried for 5 years before venturing into the Fertility Clinic closest to us. We were also unexplained and the Doctor was surprised we couldn't get pregnant because we are both fit and healthy and eat a very clean diet. After sperm analysis we did find that my husband had a poor sperm morphology (3%) and at my age (36 at the time) getting pregnant doesn't get any easier. We went through 3 iui's and after those failed we did 2 ivf's (the second one came back positive) and we now have a 7 and a half month old daughter (our only child). The infertility process was one of the most difficult things that I have gone through in my life. If the second ivf didn't work we were going to adopt. But we were lucky. Ivf isn't always successful the first time and may work the 2nd or 3rd time. Did your doctor check to see that your tubes aren't blocked and that your hormone levels are normal? Probably. Anyways, we are going to see our doctor in August because we are going to try one last time for baby number 2. If it doesn't work than I know that we were only meant to have one child. Good luck with everything, I know how frustrating it is especially when you don't really know what the problem is. That is the worst. At least if you know what the problem is it makes it easier to understand why things aren't working. Good luck!!!

We have unexplained disgnosis too. Initially Doc said that its maile factor but we did our 1st IVF and the eggs fertilized well so then nows its kind of unexplained. All my tests are normal. We did 5 day transfer with no success. I have never been pregnant and dont know if we will ever be. Sorry to be negative. I guess the frustartion of what went wrong when everthing medically looks perfect, makes u negative. The good news is that our Doc said that we have pretty good chance of getting pregnant. I am hanging on to this hope. We ahve FET in August. Where are u in your treatment?
