Hi Everyone,

My official blood test is Monday (it was supposed to be Friday, but I moved it to Monday so I could stay at the beach). AF is here and I'm still getting -ive hpt so I know it didn't work this time. I'm bummed big time, but I'm excited for a FET in August.

Melanie- looks like we'll be cycling together again in August! What's your game plan? I'm sorry about your bfn, I know exactly how you feel. I also started hpt early, so I knew this was coming... I think it might have made is a little easier losing hope a little bit each day instead of one big blow. I don't know, it just sucks no matter what!

My dr. said that their fet rates are just as good as a fresh and that everytime you go through ivf or fet, you're chances get better, so, I'm already hopeful for next time. My dr. also said that they only freeze 30% of their patients embryos and the fact that I have 6 good quality ones is very promising. Of course, they also told me that I had a 70% chance this time and that didn't happen so I guess YOU NEVER KNOW!!!

Anyway, I'm okay. I'm looking forward to getting this going again so I'm glad that af is already here.

Good luck to all of you! I'm pulling for you!!!!

Laurie,
Congratulations on your BFP! Such an exciting time for you and DH. I remember the feeling.

Elvisbaby,
Sounds like the odds are in your favor. Congrats on your BFP as well.

Melanie,
Sorry to hear of your BFN, but it does not mean it will not work out for you in August.

I have been quite tired and thinking it could be either the meds or pregnancy. I won't take the HPT so it looks like Thursday will be the answer for me. Who is all testing on Thursday? I think there are quite a few of us.

Melanie & Lauren - so sorry to hear about your BFN's. It's an awful feeling, I know. Was happy to read that you both will be trying again very soon - something to look forward to. I wish you all the luck in the world!

To Laurie, Elvisbaby - big congratuations on your BFP's. Wishing you lots of luck with the Beta's - but everything seems to be pointing in the right direction.

Happy Birthday, Kerri. Enjoy your day today! Hope your hpt on Monday will give you the best gift of all, a BFP!

Welcome to all the new June/July cyclers!

I haven't tested and am trying to hold out till my Beta on Thursday. I don't have any feeling anymore if this has worked or not --

Best wishes to everyone,
Amy

Okay-need help. Yesterday I was feeling very low. I woke up this morning at 7:00- couldn't sleep. I took another dollar store test and it was negative. I then decided to use my one and only FRER test and I got a FAINT FAINT- you need a microscope to see it- faint second line. This happened before the three minutes was up. Now I can't stop staring at it. I'm about to bore a hole through it. Do you think it could be real? EVERYONE says those $$ cheapies are accurate and it was clearly neg. What do you guys think?

Hi jeneden,
don't know if I can help - but it still might be too early for you to be testing after a 3 day transfer and get a true answer.
According my clinic's information, the earliest one can tell if a pregnancy is positive is with a bloodtest, 13 days after the ER, and 15 days with a urine (hpt) test.
I know that everyone is different and you are anxious to know am I? or aren't I? -- but perhaps you just need to wait till Tuesday (if you can) and try again then when the hcg has more time to build up and get detected --

Good luck! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Thanks Amy!! Because I'm an addict, I held my pee for four hours this morning and went out and bought a Clear Blue Digital. It said "pregnant" after 30 seconds, so I took it apart, and there were two distinct lines on the inside. I am cautiously opptimistic- but have had 1 chemical and 1 miscarriage since last year, so I know that a couple of BFPs may not mean too much, but I'm hoping!!! My b/w is not until Thursday, but I'm going to email my nurse tomorrow and see if I can get it moved to Wed. Then if it's pos. they could repeat on Friday to see if it doubled, instead of having to wait through the weekend. I'm keeping everything crossed for all of us with Thursday b/w!!!!!

hi jeneden - I'm hoping right there with you! Very impressed with you ability to "hold it in" for so long -- that is downright determination - you go, girl! Keep the positive stream flowing :D and here's hoping for a rosy future!

How are you feeling by the way? Any symptoms these days?

I really can't wait for this waiting period to be o-v-e-r...I don't remember it feeling soooooooooooo long the last time.
