I had a ET Last week-9/28 and really anxious with ofcourse the :lol: temptation of doing a HPT and a BFN. My ET was a 3day transfer and put back a 6 cell and a 4 cell.Not so sure or positive about all the feelings i have at the moment.I dont feel anything apart from bit of a sore back and nothing else.This is my secong ivf and the waiting is driving me crazy. :?

Hi there, i too am wanting to do HPT, 2X 8 cell ET on 02/07, DH bought HPT today but i feel like it would tempting fate! Did you do yours in the end? Ive been having bad cramps since ET and am negative too. I do always think there is hope though. Hope all is well. Good Luck. X

hi despardo,i did a HPT and got a BFN today and its been 10 days today since ET.I hope for good results ...

Hi,
This is my first IVF. I did my ET on 6/27. I had 4 eggs transfered. I have my scheduled Preg test on July 12th. I am too afraid to do a HPT. I have had really bad cramps that come on in the early evenning. When I wake up they are gone. Anyone experience cramps? Does anyone know if the Progesterone oil shots make it so you do not get AF?

Cramps are a common side effect of progesterone supplements.

Progesterone will generally prevent menses.

HI YOU LOT

HOPE YOU DONT MIND ME JUMPING ON BOARD!

WE DID ET LAST THURSDAY 5/7/07, ON DAY THREE! WAS REALLY POSITIVE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS BUT NOW ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY (AND WE'VE GOT 13 DAYS LEFT!) THIS IS OUR SECOND 2WW AND WAS CONVINCED THAT I WOULD'NT LET IT BOTHER ME THIS TIME! HA!

WE HAD A 4 CELL EMBRYO REPLACED AND HAVE GOT 5 FROZEN.

I'M STILL FEELING UNCOMFORTABLE (BACK PAIN, A LITTLE SWOLEN AND SORE WHEN MY BLADER IS FULL, ETC) AND DONT REMEMBER FEELING LIKE THIS LAST TIME. I'M A LITTLE CONCERNED IF THIS IS NORMAL. ALTHOUGH A FEW OF YOU SEEM TO BE SAYING THE SAME! I AM USING PROGESTERONE PESSARY'S! MORING AND NIGHT! COULD THESE BE CAUSING THE PAINS?

I AM TRYING TO RESIST DOING HPT UNTIL THE DATE THE CLINIC GAVE US BECAUSE THE DRUGS THAT I'VE BEEN GIVEN THROUGHOUT COULD GIVE US AN INCORRECT RESULT. SO DONT BE DIS-HARTENED YET LORISSA! BFP COULD HAPPEN YET!

1 Cycle of IVF:
14 eggs recovered, 10 fertilized, 2 embryos replaced - no joy!
On 2 more occassions, 2 frozen replacements again with no joy!
2nd cycle of IVF - 1 ET now on 2WW!

Hi lorissa - theres still hope, a few people on the site have said they have tested on days 9,10,11,12 and have got a BFN but got a BFP on day 13/14 or via bloods. Chin up, keep in there! Fingers crossed, im 4 days behind you, should be tested on 16th but prob do HPT on Wed/Thur (9/10dp3dt)!! :)
Hi marmey - ive been getting cramps since ET and just got backache today. Worse after progesterone pessaries and when i get up to walk or need the loo. Im unsure if pessaries bring on symptoms of monthlys or if im experiencing being preggers! :? From what ive read on this site, cramps are part of the implantation! Good Luck, thinking of you, X

Hi lorissa, just wondered if you felt any better today, yesterday was a negative one for a few of us? Im feeling a bit better, this site is really helping, im on the computer most of the day which is driving my DH insane! So a BIG thanks to everyone who contributes, X X

Hi despardo thankyou for all your support .day 12 ,i can not believe it-A BFP...i am stunned and scared that it will be wrong or still early for the 16th of july blood test.Other than that im happy and positive that you will be soon too. :)
Hi Nickid,its a pleasure having your thoughts and good wishes.well today i have a BFP and hope it continues for a safe and healthy pregnancy not only for me but for everybody who is trying too.Thanks so much i really appreciate it heaps.i am still shocked and scared for blood test. :)

A BIG CONGRATS to you Lorissa.... :D im sure it will stay positive for you, well done! Im now on 8dp3dt and it feels like ive already been waiting a month! I too am very anxious and scared, like everyone on this site, i just wana BFP!!

Hi Nicki, how are you today? Im having all the symptoms you are having and i know a couple of other ladies on this site are to, must be a good good 'cos some of them have had due date fot pt and B/w are testing +! :D
