Triplets Anyone?

Post by wannababynow »

I think we may be having triplets...I'm really nervous. Just curious who else is expecting triplets?

Hi
I was pregnant with Quads and just found out today one of the babies died about a week ago. Now I am pregnant with triplets- 1 singleton and 1 set of identical twins (1 placenta- 2 sacs). We met with a perinatologist today to descuss risk factors and pros and cons of reduction. We go back in 10 days for another evaluation.
What about you? How many embies did you transfer?
IVF/ICSI 3/07 Froze All 36 eggs
FET 5/07 BFP; DD born early (26 weeks) 10/07
IVF/ICSI 8/09 Froze all 30 eggs
FET 11/09 BFP! TWINS from just 1 frostie! YIKES.
20 Frosties left

Best of luck to both of you!!!! Triplets! WOW!!!!! I hope you both have healthy pregnancies. I have a couple friends with triplets and they wouldn't have it any other way! :D The first year was hard but it gets easier every day.

Good luck and take care!

Rikirees,

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. It is all VERY scary. We had 3 embies transfered on day 3, 8-cell. I was really shocked that all of them implated. There is still a possibility it could only be twins. We haven't really considered selective reduction. I feel like I wanted these babies so badly that making that decision would be too hard but I also understand the fear of having healthy babies. SOOOO MUCH TO THINK ABOUT.

Kimberly,

Thank you for the support. Congrats, TWINS!! My bestfriend is actually pregnant with triplets right now. It really is a blessing. She is on week 26 and just went on bed rest...I will go crazy when it comes to that.

Thanks to both of you for responding!

Jessica

Jessica~ That is so great that your friend is having triplets as well! You will have each other to bounce everything off of. It seems easier when you're not alone.
Take care and good luck! Can't wait to hear about your progress.
