Felicia...You are not terrible...I do know exactly how you feel...I have 4 nieces who have recently had babies, and one is now pregnant with her second. Everytime I heard of another, it crushed me...Pretty sad when those not trying, and my nieces for goodness sake, are having babies left & right...By the way, nothing was happening for me in my cycle until 8 dpo (9dpiui). That's not to say that I have any confirmation yet. But just don't loose faith...Every cycle has new hope...

Thanks Jane...I appreciate the good vibes and luck! No meds and you've got two large follies?? Wow! Good for you...I had three on 100 cc of Follistim 2 @ 22mm & 1 @ 24mm when I triggered, but now I see that they were pretty big compared to when most clinics trigger. I think maybe because I had a maturity issue on my IVF cycle they let them go a little longer?

No real news here...I'm on my third day of elevated temps, so I think it's looking pretty good for me...Not positive yet, though...I'm going to buy a pg test on my way home tonight, I think...No...I'll just wait until tomorrow and get the call...I can wait a few more hours...I think... Have a great day all. Later Gators!

Hi Girls,

Jane thank you for your kind words. I feel much better today and much more positive! Only 7 days till my pregnancy test! I'll be busy working all week so hopefully that will keep my mind off things!

Charity I had 4 follicles this time. They were (2)19 1/2, 19, and 18. The first time I only had three dominant follies and the second time I had 9, I can't remember sizes. When I had 9 they warned us about multiples and she even said more than twins  but we went ahead with iui anyway. I have my fingers crossed for all of us :D .

Good Luck and Baby Dust to all!!!!!!!!

Thought I'd get the July thread off to a good start...

It's official...I'm pregnant...Yeah!! Hcg level at 13dpiui (12 dpo) is 120.4. The nurse said that was good, so we'll just continue to check that it's doubling every 48 to 72 hours, and then the ultrasound at 6 weeks...Say a little prayer for me and dh that this one (or two or three  ) sticks...Pretty sure there's only one, but that's to be seen...Love you guys!!

Charity,

CONGRATULATIONS :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I am so happy to hear that IUI works :D . You take care of yourself. Have you got any symptoms? The bleeding must have been implantation :D

I have just had my HCG shot and we're having IUI in the morning. I'm a bit surprised that we're going in only 12 hours after the shot but I guess that they know what they're doing :D . They seemed very chilled out and maybe I should just trust them and forget everything I've been reading in the Internet! Tomorrow is day 13 and I usually ovulate around then anyway.

I can't wait to get in there and get this done - just hoping that DH will not have performance anxiety in the morning :?

Take care Charity and look after that little bean (or beans :D ).

Baby dust to everybody else.

Thanks Jane...Not too many symptoms. Breasts are sorer than they were from the Hcg and Progesterone alone after the implantation. So, if they start getting more sore after being on progesterone a few days, then that's a really good sign...I did have some clear discharge off and on over the past week, a few bouts of food aversions, didn't seem like I've had hardly any cramping, but have had tons of gas (tmi)...Kept writing off all the cramping to indigestion, but not sure what was indigestion and what was gas at this point. I'm getting a little pulling feeling just under my belly button. Was writing that off as gas, too, but it's been getting worse, so not so sure what it is...

We did trigger 24 hours before transfer, and dh did have performance anxiety at first. He was a little over-charged from being at work, leaving mid-day and having to go back, so took him a while to mellow out. Not to worry. I'm sure your dh will be fine, though...

Don't over-think it...That's what I started to do, and thought it hadn't worked. Was actually crying on the fourth of July to my SIL and sister because I wasn't feeling anything different outside of what I could write-off to the progesterone and hcg...Then, a few days later things started changing...Hang in there, Jane, and I'll be thinking of you tomorrow...All my best...

Jane - GOOD LUCK TOMORROW!!!!! i will be thinking of you!

Charity - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

i am on cd 7 - went for an ultrasound today - i have in my right a ovary....16.5 and 12.5 follie (my tubeless side)...and i have in my left ovary a 14.5, 13 and 10 follie. they doubled my injections today... and i am back in tomorrow morning for more bloodwork and another ultrasound.

my uterine lining was at 6.5 today

the nurse told me my follies should grow about 1-2mm per day... and with doubling my meds... i wonder if it will be more like 3mm? she told me they look for a 15mm and consider that "mature"

ummmm - i am already there?????

i am wondering if my IUI will be on thursday... but isn't cycle day 9 a little early???????? i am on a 29 day usually.

i am starting to get antsy!

I didn't test ahead of time...I waited for the beta...The only thing I did do was take an OPK last night. I was reading on POAS website that an OPK will show positive (surging) about the same time a HPT would show positive pg, but they don't recommend it, cause there are a number of other chemicals that can cause it to show positive (including tap water). Anyway, thought for the heck of it I'd give it a shot. It was positive, so was pretty sure, but didn't know positively until today with the call...

If you want my advice, and you may not, but I would highly recommend not testing...Even as tempting as it is...I thought about it all weekend and even last night, but didn't want to get that BFN and then wonder if it was right or not...It's great if it's BFP, but if not, there are so many "What If's" left...Getting that call is pretty cool, too...Wouldn't have been as cool if it were negative, but I was prepared. Already had plans to go into another cycle straightaway if it didn't work...

Dh and I have a ton of milestones to get over, so we may still have to do more than one cycle, but for now, I have to believe that our baby is going to be fine, and all will be well. Called my mom and told her and she cried...Then shared she had been to some rummage sales and picked up a bunch of baby stuff...She's such a nut-job...Love her so much, but a little nutty, nonetheless...

Anyway, I better get to bed...Could barely sleep worrying about today, but thank you all for your congratulations! You're all the best and let's just hope this is one of many BFP's for July...

Hi Ladies,

Charity, hope you had a good night's sleep :D

Felicia, I would say wait to do the test. That's my plan :D . Watch this space to see if I can hold out :D :D :D

Jenn, hi. I'm not sure about your figures. I am day 13 and although I was surprised that the doctor didn't look at my follies before she did the IUI I'm guessing that they were around 17 and 20 mm (that was without meds). What did today's ultrasound show?

So, I'm now officially on the TWW. Everything went very smoothly. DH produced his sample but the motility was less than expected although still ok with sperm washing. The doc was really good and I didn't feel a thing! She didn't recommend lying down for a while afterwards because she said that the sperm are already in the womb and can't come out. I lay down in the car on the way home and I'm lying down now for as long as possible!

Test on 25th :D

Have a good day.

Hello Ladies,

It's three days away from my test and I have a really bad feeling :? . I'm feeling pretty crampy and totally bummed out  . It just feels like this is never going to happen for me. I want to test at home on Saturday but I'm afraid of getting a BFN. I know I'll just be totally crushed. Maybe it'll lessen the blow on Monday though? I don't know what to do :x .

I hope all is going well with you guys and that you're keeping busy during the tourmenting 2ww.

Good Luck to everyone,, sticky baby dust to all.

Hang in there Felicia,

Personally I would really try not to test early. The two days before my test I'm working really hard and we are also going to a wedding the weekend before too so I'm hoping that will all take my mind off testing.

I don't know what to do about the bad feeling, it's easy for me to say try and ignore it but I'll probably be the same next week! I can't remember if you are on progesterone but that could have an effect on your mood and be giving you cramps. I know that after only a day it's affecting mine (I also have a headache today, don't know if that's got anything to do with it too).

Keep smiling :D

Sending you good vibes for Monday.

hi felicia - i am not on the progesterone suppositiories yet....but i heard the same thing. you NEVER know... cramping might be a VERY good thing!!!!! :D

hi jane!!!!

how are you? i did my trigger last night and i am going in for my IUI at 12:15pm tomorrow :D

i am so excited!!!!! i was a little nervous about triggering last night and going in tomorrow - i sort of thought it would be today???? i hope we don't miss it!!!! i got a positive opk today.... it was negative yesterday... it is so amazing how all of this medicine works :D i also had ewcm yesterday before the trigger shot.... so that was perfect timing as we were told to bd last night.

i can't wait!!!!! i will be in the tww this weekend!!!!! :D

because i am a poas addict - i am happy that i am forced to NOT test because of the trigger shot....but....how long does the hcg from the trigger stay in your system????

how are you feeling?

Hi Jenn,

Good luck for tomorrow :D. I am getting concerned that we did the IUI only fifteen hours after the trigger shot and having read that washed sperm only lives for six to twelve hours I hope that they were still around for ovulation :?. I did have bleeding (just a smear) the morning after the trigger so I don't know if I had already ovulated by myself - still I guess they know what they're doing. Sometimes it's not a good idea to read too much!

We were also told to bd the evening after the IUI which we did. Time will tell if it has worked.

So what day of your cycle is that? It is exciting and hopefully you will have a good experience like me. I didn't believe her when she said that the catheter was in the womb as I really didn't feel anything - she did it all without ultrasound as well.

I read that the HCG stays about ten to twelve days and it's better to wait until 14dpo. I'm not going to test until then :? .

Good luck and (almost) welcome to the TWW!!!

hi jane

i know what you mean... i worry about everything!!!!! i am sure they timed it right for you.... like you said.... they know what they are doing!!!!

today is day 10 for me - so the IUI will be done on day 11... i am so happy to have it done... and jump into the tww.

do you have to test first...then call.... or do you already have your beta scheduled????

i don't think i get any ultrasounds tomorrow - a girl i know goes to my same doctor and she didn't have one the day of the IUI... she didn't even need to go back in at all during the tww - just on day 14 after the IUI for her beta.

how do they know if you ovulated???? when you trigger... ALL the eggs are released... right? (did i already ask that  )
