Emma
wot 10 days - OMG - how is the dress fitting - around the bump - well you wouldn't wear an entire dress under would you.
Have you thought of upping your iron in your diet and are you taking zinc tablets - these are supposed to absorb (as well as VIT C) the iron in your diet. That and plenty of extra folic acid - not sure if this is a help but those who are ill on iron are better doing this.

Lots of love
Tracey
xxxx

Hi Emma

Well, I can only answer one of your questions, sorry! You should feel your baby move around 18-20 weeks if it's your first (2nd babies can be felt a couple of weeks earlier). At first you will notice a kind of flutter a bit like a nerve twitching.

All the best for your wedding - hope you have a great day.

Luv Rachel X
(25 wks with twins)

Hi Emma,
Just wanted to add that I have been having terrible anaemia during the last few weeks. I kept throwing up the iron tablets I was prescribed. My doctor recomended to me 'Floradix' which is herbal liquid iron you buy from health food shops. I stared taking this twice a day since last saturday..and haven't thrown up since!!!!
It doesn't give you quite as much iron as the tablets would but I am supplementing my diet too by eating lots of spinich, eggs, drinking ovaltine etc.
You also should make sure that you don't drink tea or coffee or diary products within an hour of taking iron (this hinders absorption) and you also should take extra vitimin c to help absorb the iron. ( I am drinking gallons of orange and apple juice!)
Hope this helps and hope you feel better soon.
Lots of love
Kirsty
xx
PS good luck with the wedding!!!

Hi Everyone

I too was wondering when I should start feeling movement, I know it is early days for me I will be 13 weeks tomorrow. The thing is though I do get some flutters in my tummy. I spoke to the midwife and she said this is normal it is where the baby is turning over etc in your tummy, does anyone else get the flutters?
Love
Shell.
xx
