alright ladies, we gotta' find a name

Post by deepa100 »

Dear friends,
My little boy is due in 2 weeks. I am still trying hard to pick a name. Initially, I thought we had settled on Noah Rishi. I still like Rishi, no problems. But my husband is leaving things up to me (except for giving his final opinion) and I am getting confused with the American name part.
Q1: Does Noah sound negative because it has "No" in it?
Q2: How about Nicholas or Xavier?

So, compare these:
Noah Rishi Hawkins
Xavier Rishi Hawkins
Nicholas Rishi Hawkins
Alex Rishi Hawkins

We gotta' find a good name for our boy, please help me.

I like Noah, its a biblical name, I don't think its sounds negative at all. Noah is my vote.

I like Noah or Nicholas. Both those seem to go well with Rishi as a middle name.

I am sure whatever you pick will be beautiful. :D

I like Noah too, but I am sure you will make the right choice, you could always wait til he was born and decide for sure when you see him.

As I mentioned before, Noah is first choice for our baby if its a boy so I am biased. I think Noah sounds great with Rishi too!

Noah does not sound negative.

I like both Noah and Nicholas. (Nicholas is long so you would have to decide what you think about people trying to shorten in to Nicho or something as that would likely happen. I like it shortened as well, but something you might want to consider in your decision. You can always reinforce that you want the full name used, but kids will likely do it anyway.)
