Thanks Melanie- I'm on pins and needles waiting for my second beta. Did you have your consult today or is it next Thursday? I am hoping that your FET is a success!!!!

Hi Jen, I keep checking back to see if you've posted about it. I'm praying for more than double for you!!!
My consult is next Thurs. Sadly I have no frozen left so I'm looking at a whole new fresh cycle. DH and I are gearing up for a little fun before getting back to business though. Saturday, we are going to the Braves game and will do some serious beer drinking with some friends. And then a pool party Sunday. I can't wait! I'm just now getting out of my depression over the failed cycle. THEN, back on the wagon to gear up for number 2!

Ladies it a BFN for me

I started spotting & lite bleeding since this morning , so I pretty much knew before the nurse called in with the results.

How is everyone who is taking progestrone shots doing? They were great, with me icing before, but for the past week or sore, the area is always red, sore and sometimes painful. I also bleed alot more after the shot. Nurse said its normal, but seriously debating on moving to the gel. Anyones thoughts and symptoms.

I just got my second beta- 201. My first one was 103, so talk about just barely doubling!!! But, my nurse seemed to think it was fine. My P4 was better-so I go for my third beta on Monday.
Melanie- Mmmmmmm BEEEEEERRRR!!!! I miss beer!! I hope you have a fun weekend- the weather is going to be cooler, so you'll enjoy the game. Please keep me posted on your consult next week.

Hi Jen, I think that's a really good number because your first beta was done 2 days earlier...wasn't today supposed to be your first originally? I'm sending thoughts of lots of continued doublling your way! I hope it's cooler this weekend. Today is gorgeous! I wish we had more days like this in the summer instead of the oppressive humidity! LOL.

Mybaby...I'm so sorry for your BFN. Will you try again? You have endo like me, don't you? I plan on asking my RE a LOT of questions about any effect the end may or may not have and whether or not I was oversupressed by doing Lupron. I'll let you know what he says. I'm so very very sorry. Take time to grieve. It really, really sucks!!! xoxo

Melanie - I asked the nurse how soon will I be able to try agian, she said probably in this cycle(since period started today) & also I will be doing the same Lupron protocol. Anyways I have an appt with the RE in the next week, so will have to see what he says.... Melanie, this BFN really sucks.... I am tooo heartbroken can understand what u went through.....
DO u have any particular Q for the RE at the nxt appt , do let me know.

Another BFP over here!!! My beta was 402 and all is good. I am so very excited that I have to go call my DH, parents, etc. . .

Mybaby, email me at rockrat71@comcast.net and I'll email you my Word doc of about a zillion questions. LOL. My RE wants me to take a month off. Is your period as awful as mine? This is terrible!

MyBaby,

Sorry to hear of your BFN. I hope you find the answers to your questions. Sometimes the first cycle does not work, but the doctor learns much more about you for the next one. You may want to give yourself a month or two off before cycling again. My doctor gave me that suggestion after my last BFN and it gave me time to get strong again.
