Anyone not have 2nd Beta until 7 days later

Okay so I am unhappy with my clinic.

I got my BFP on Monday. My beta was 211. This makes me estatic. I happy, but I worry still.

My doc says no 2nd beta until 7 days later. So I call try to get one early just to make sure they will double, but they won't even humor me. But that is another story.

So has anyone else not need a 2nd beta until 7 days later?

I am truly an overthinker, but I can't help it.

Please any word of encouragement would be appreciated.

apart from your awful clinic, how are you doing?
My clinic as you know gave me a 2nd beta 48hrs after 1st.
You should go back and insist, if not is there a doctors you could go to ?

My clinic did not do a beta until 14 days post transfer - 19 days post retrieval. Of course since it was so late I knew a week earlier from an HPT. No 2nd beta. They did an ultrasound 3 weeks later. (So after my BFP nothing until I was nearly 8 weeks pregnant.)

Since my first number was good, they didn't seem to think another one is necessary.

Thanks so much for replying. I was just wondering what to think. This mind of mine just goes off.

I am doing well. I have symptoms which kind of eases my mind. My symptoms really really tired, sore (.)(.), frequent peeing, so nausea but usually goes away when I eat.

I just don't have the energy to fight. I wish I could just find another doc.

I spoke with my regular OB/GYN and he said not to worry it will be fine. Maybe it is just me panicking. My next beta is on Monday so that will be here before I know it.

Hi Elvis, congratulations. My clinic do not retest beta # as long as it is over 50, we just get scheduled for an ultrasound at 6 weeks.
