Tams, please update as soon as you know something. That's crazy, but I know exactly how you feel. Maybe it is just your placenta moving up or it could even be an irritated cervix. I had a cervical polyp that they found was causing me to spot a while back and I had the subchorionic hemmorage. You will be fine and the baby will be too. I just said a prayer for you!

Thank you all for your messages and prayers, we went for the scan on Friday and the baby looks fine, thank goodness. They couldn't really say why I was bleeding, they still think the placenta looks as though the very edge is near the cervix and that this is the most likely candidate. The bleeding stopped over the weekend which has gone a long way to easing my mind, however much you know it happens there is something deeply unsettling about bleeding when you are pregnant.

We are supposed to be going away on Thursday, only to Portugal so not a long flight, but I think I'll try and speak to an Obstetrician before I go and see what his view is.

I hope you are all well and had good weekends?

Hi everyone!

It has been forever since I have been on this site but we changed doctors this year, did our final try and did a FET in May. We decided to transfer 3 since this was our last shot and we had 3 unsuccessful cycles before. And all 3 took! I am 10 weeks along now and "The Three Amigos" as we have nicknamed them are doing great. Last sono we saw them moving all around, it was so cute! I normally would be due in February but since I will more than likely only get to 30-34 weeks I will deliver sometime in December it looks like.
Congrats to you all, I never thought I would be over on this side! It feels good! We have our 1st OB appt tomorrow, we graduated from the fertility dr. so that feels good. I have so many questions for my OB, he better get ready! HAHA

:D  :D  Twenty weeks and two days :D  :D  :D

Can't believe I over half way now!!!

Tam, hope everything is ok now. Sounds like a holiday might be just what you need - don't forget your sexy flight socks!!! Sure sun helps the babies grow. Just drink loads of water and avoid watermellon. Oh and take back up clothes in case you have a growth spirt like I did!

Sha, Hi babe I think I must have had a twelve week dating scan and I've got another probably a atonally one next week at 21 weeks. Most pissed off to be told be crappy midwife that they don't listen to the babies heartbeats until 30 weeks in my area!!!! She said its cos they are hard to find and mothers just get distressed.

How many of you have already heard your babies or is she tell the truth?

At least I found out my blood pressure, iron count and urine are still good and I finally know my blood type its o+ which is great cos my sister has the doggy one.

After my scan next week will see the consoltant so I can ask my odds of having a ceasarian with twins.

Reward, You are right we must be insane having students but the holiday left us skint. So the plan is we will have them till the end of Aug then get the babies room ready with the proffits we have made.

ANYONE LIVING IN ENGLAND

Can I take back what I said about Peacocks maternity. I got some real bargins some white jeans and some karki combates for £15.00 each and a dark blue demin skirt for the same price. They all look really nice and everyone thinks I've spent a fortune at blooming marvelous. (I should be so lucky thats nearly a week of having students for one pair of jeans!) So if you are not rich then swallow your pride and go their you might be suprised!!!

Quita, thanks for the update. Anyone who cannot find the fetal heartbeat with a doppler by 12-14 weeks is an idiot! I could hear mine with a home doppler at 9 weeks. I'm sorry that you have to wait so long to hear yours. I just hope we don't turn into socialized medicine here in the US....it seems so restrictive and doesn't seem to give you much choice.
At least you can feel your little ones move to reassure you that everything is okay.
I had my 19 week US today and it was wonderful! The baby was yawning and crossing his legs back and forth. The organ evaluation was all normal with growth right on target . They also drew an AFP today to screen for neural tube defects so if that comes out okay we should be in good shape. I get my next US at 28 weeks. I hope everyone is well and enjoying that fetal movement!!

The doctor only does scans here and doesnt listen to the heart beat maybe that comes later.I go to the hospital for my check ups because of my history.Has anyone bought anything yet? I am finding it hard to buy because I can not get my head around the fact I am really pregnant.
Even with lots of kicks and bubbles.

Hi all,
Hope everyone on here that is living in the UK have survived the rain and floods, we have been ok but have family down in Wales that have had the rain bad.

As for me seen my midwife on wed just gone and finally got to hear the heart beat, it was fantastic. Everything is fine all my bloods came back fine, iron levels are good the only thing she pick up (which I already knew) is that my blood group is Oneg which means an injection for me later on in the pregnancy. My bloods for neural tube defects came back as low risk so over the moon at that.

Quita
Glad your holiday went well, so you had a growth spurt!! I still haven’t got a baby bump, only a little tubby beer belly as DH calls it!!!
Talking about maternity clothes I got a few bargains in ASDA believe it or not also next sales today. They don’t fit me yet but thought what the hell I’m going to need them sooner or later. Can’t believe your midwife doesn’t check the heart beat until 30 weeks!! Think I would go out of my head at that. Good luck with your scan next week, still don’t know when I get another scan as I forgot to ask the midwife.

Good to hear all is going well. Nearly half way there now.

Hi ladies, I have missed the board so much lately!!! I have been trying to get things ready here at the house and with my job, it is crazy!

Donna and MamaCardenas, I am sorry for your loss, I just read about it. I hope you get a BFP this time around! Our first ended in a miscarriage too, when we did the FET, we used dexamethosone for 10 weeks and our babies are doing just fine! Hugs

Fulloffaith, wow three!! That is great! Welcome to the group!

As for us... we are having a boy and a girl!!! We are so excited! The nursery theme is bees and bee hives, so I am making a quilt for each of them. So far the little girl, (Victoria Marie), is bossy and she takes up most of the room in my uterus. Everytime we have gotten an ultrasound, she has been streteched out and our little boy, (as yet unnamed), was squished in the corner!

The other day I felt the kids first fight! It was a mess how it happened... I was sewing the quilt for one of the babies and I accidently pierced my index finger with the sewing machine needle. (Not a good feeling.) Well of course I was yelling and cursing because it hurt like you-know-what!

Well, after tending to my wound. I sat back down and the kicking started. They were kicking so much that it felt like a regular heartbeat. Kisha felt the kicking and then Brian did. It was crazy.

Now this was not the first time that I have felt them kick, but it was the first time that they kicked so much at once. After about 20 minutes it was no longer cute, it was really distracting and I was trying to watch a movie, so I told them to calm it down and they heard somehow! The kicking abruptly stopped, but then there was one last hard kick, I guess someone was trying to show me that I was not the boss of them...

The signs of times to come...
