My sickness came and went the whole first trimester. Try not to worry--that's a really nice strong beta number!

Thanks for the advice.. I took a HPT after work.. I am very paranoid.. One good thing going( I think) is the incredible craving for Texas Pete I have. (Hot sauce). This morning I had it on some eggs and then dunked a piece of cheese in it afterwards... I probably could turn that bad boy up and drink it.

Today I have had not morning sickness as well and I just am a little nervous. I guess until I hear that heartbeat on Monday. It would please me so much if I threw up or had bad pottie problems...

Thanks... If anybody else has any stories.. Please share!!

Ciao,
Jodi

Can someone give any advice?

I had sore and swollen breasts since the start of progesterone injection, but that feeling went away and felt normal just 2 days before the pregnancy test. Since everywhere you read, it tells you the sore breasts is one of the first signs of pregnancy. I was feeling so depressed as I drove to the pregnanct test - I was actually crying, but it came back positive and 3 days later, the number went up to 934. So right now I should be in my 4.5 weeks, but my breasts feel like non-pregnant, just like I felt before when I miscarried at 7.5 weeks. Is it possible to feel totally normal and still be pregnant at this early time?
One of my friends told me the first day she missed her period, she stepped into the shower and it hurt like hell when the water hit her breasts!

Claire

My boobies don't hurt at all.. I guess everyone is different in what they experience for "morning sickness" I would almost feel better if I did throw up- would ease my mind.. One of my friends gave me some REALLY STUPID advice and that was. "The more sick you are, the healthier the baby is." BULL CRAP.... Trust in your body and possibly revel in the fact that you are not puking in the poddy... :P

Hi sleepyfoy,

Thanks for your opinion. I heard that everybody's different and every pregnancy's different, but since I've never been pregnant, I don't know what to expect, except what I read... I also heard about the relationship between morning sickness and healthy baby theory, and that worries me even more, because I don't throw up, not even feel nauseous, not sensitive to any smell, absolutely nothing. They will test my hCG again on Wed, just to make me "feel better"...

Claire--I didn't start feeling sick until 9 weeks. Even then, although I felt nauseated pretty much all day I never threw up. And my pregnancy has been smooth as can be so far (knock on wood!)

I know that it's pretty much impossible to not worry, but just hang in there!

Claire!!
Let me know what your HCG is.. I am sure that it is way up there. I know how you feel though about not feeling crappy and wanting to.

take care

Thank you meg12 and sleepyfoy. I know it sounds silly, but with 6 failed IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, I can't help noticing all the symptoms (or lack of them) every step along the way...
I start getting worried what if I can never have babies...

In fact.. I forget i'm pregnant half the time.. until I get thinking of my little bugger in there!!

everyone is different!!
Hang in there... :)

Just wanted to give you an update...

Thank you for all your reply and kind support. Turned out I went through 1st, 2nd trimester without feeling anything at all, no morning sickness, no nausea or vomiting. Now I'm 31 weeks and heartburn is my biggest problem. Other than that, I feel totally normal (except how big I am...)

Don't give up your hope. It wil happen!

Congratulations Claire,

Your post gives me hope. I started feeling tons of symptoms before ER, after ET and so on, but I´ve been feeling progressively better and better...including my breasts, my test is this Friday, so I was thinking along the same lines you were before you went to get your test done. But your post gives me hope.

Blessings to you and the little one you´re carrying.
