Dixie...You need to put a bracket the letters "img", and end bracket before the "http:" and then after the ".png" put another bracket and the letters "/img"...Then save...That should do the trick...Let me know if you're already doing that, and if that's not fixing it...

Congratulations on the twins!! That's awesome, and that your husband is so positive and into this. Mine is panicking thinking if there are twins or more. He's such a guy worrying about money. Once he sees there's really a baby(ies) there, it will hit him, but for now, he's worrying. I love him for doing that...Lord knows, I love to spend...

Anna...Congrats to you too...It's awesome isn't it...I've been having pulling pains on my right and left sides near the hips bones and up...Thought it was just me though...

I too have been having weird issues with sleep...At first, I was sleeping great and had soooo many vivid dreams. Now, I'm waking up early, and not getting back to a good sleep, and then being so tired mid-day, and then getting a second wind at night when it's time to sleep...Strange...

Speaking of my husband, he's home from work, so off to dinner...Have a great evening ladies, and congratulations again!!!

Hello future mommies -

I am so happy to announce that I am finally going to be a mommy for the very first time. I am 27 years old hubby is 29 and got prego on the very first IVF. I am 6 weeks and 3 days. I am having my first u/s on July 23rd and that is making it very nerve wrecking. I am due March 6th. I am still on the progesterone shots, heparin, and vitamins. I can't wait till I am done with the shots. I also have a moderate case of OHSS which has also been hard. I have been feeling a little sick to my stomache with some hot flashes and bad insomnia but it's all worth it!

Good Luck to all the NEW MOMMIES TO BE!!!

hi charity, thanks for the info... and welcome. i'm going to try and copy the link because i can't figure out why its not working this time... but well i'm not all that much computer savy LOL.
Image

I got it straight from the bbc codes at lilypie. Anyway if anyone can help i'd appreciate it ;) Its like it won't stay on my profile when i post it. after i save it to my profile and go right back its not there.

Hilda i'm sorry to hear about your ohss... its not fun i know. i didn't have a bad case but a mild one and that was horribly uncomfortable. I know its worth it but i know its difficult as well. good luck to you and you will probably start feeling better once you come down off the progesterone shots... i seemed to get better as they dropped me off progesterone.

carebear I wouldn't worry to much. your doing fine and i know that it would be easier if you had symptoms but its great that you aren't running to the toilet LOL. I swear i had lost two pounds at my check up this week ... after a lifetime of worrying about weight my first response was ALRIGHT!!!! lol... then i looked at the nurse and said.. " whoops.... i guess i shouldn't be quite so excited huh?? " I thought the nurse was gonna fall out laughing at me.
crislyn thanks for your excitement for me.Its nice to come on these boards and talk to everyone who has been thru this. sometimes my family and friends who mean well just end up stressing me out. thats how its been since i started ttc. well meaning... but they don't know what to say then or now .

Carebear...I think we're so used to worrying that it's become second nature. You take care, and know that you're not abnormal. From everything I've read and all the great ladies and family that I know who've had babies, they didn't really start feeling anything until 6 or 7 weeks of pregnancy. You hang tough, and know that you and baby are just fine. If you start having any spotting or major cramps, then definitely call your doctor, but I wouldn't worry too much about not feeling pg. Don't regret not enjoying this time once things start to take-off...

Welcome Hilda...Congratulations!! Sorry to hear about your OHSS. You just make sure you drink lots of fluids, take it easy, and take care of you and the baby(ies)...How many did you have transferred? Is there a chance of more than one? With your age, success is statistically much better, so if they put back more than one, there is definitely a chance for multiples with you, sweetie...Congratulation again, and good to see you here...

Dixie...If you copy and past this into your profile "Signature:" section, and select the "Submit" button, it should take affect...
[img]http://bd.lilypie.com/63xnm5/.png[/img]
If you're still having issues, it might be that your preferences have been changed somehow. Where it asks, "Always allow BBCode:" make sure that is selected as "Yes"...After that, you should be good, sweetie. Don't worry about not being computer savy. When I started, I couldn't even figure out how to create a profile, let alone how to change it and insert pics. You'll be a whiz before you know it...

Later gators...

whew. finally got it to work. I had to delete the url at the beginning and end on the bbc code for my ticker. Makes no sense whatsoever. sheesh. thanks for trying to help charity LOL i'm hopeless sometimes.

carebear I tell you It was a HUGE relief when i saw the heart beats yesterday... i was six weeks six days and a few days before that we couldnt see them yet. It didn't matter that my numbers were good or that we saw development growing each week..... i NEEDED the HB. LOL. and do you know i still came home and couldn't sleep because then I started worrying about premature labor. I swear i would truly love to be clueless like i was during my first pregnancy. I didn't have the sense to worry to much. no internet... no cable... blissfully unaware. LOL. Lets face it ladies... after all we went thru to get this way who can take being pregnant with a grain of salt?
I am so proud of what we have all accomplished. we just have to keep reminding ourselves of that so that the anxiousness doesn't get overwhelming. Great job everyone!!! ;)

carebear, i had one u/s done at 5 weeks 6 days and could see nothing but the gestation sac and yolk sac..... the ultrasound tech said oh well your only about 5 week and 1 or 2 days... then doc says nooo, 5 weeks 6 days maybe six weeks... and seeing exactly what we should see..... came back in exactly one week and saw the hb.... have heard you can't always see it till week 7 but sometimes as early as 6weeks and 2 or 3 days. I think six week 2 days will be close... but you probably will be able to see more than just the yolk sac.

Nicola...Of course I remember you!! Thank you so much, Dear...How are YOU doing?? Just a few more days for you, if I remember correctly?? You are so sweet to think of me, and stop by...Thanks so much, Nic, and best of luck with delivery...You'll have to let me know exactly how it goes and all about the baby when you get home and settled...You take care, dear, and keep those feet up and relax until the big day...

Carebear...I talked to the clinic, and they'll see me for my first at 6w2d and said that they MIGHT be able to see the heart beat(s) then, but if they don't see it that time, cause it will be cutting it really close to when it's detectable, but they said by the next week when I have my second, they should definitely be able to see it then. Good luck, Dear, and try not to worry too much...Easier said than done, but you'll be hearing that little heart beat before you know it...

I GOT TO SEE/HEAR MY BABY'S HEARTBEAT!!!!................................

well let me expain the titl today i had bit of a scare, yesterday i started camping, i called my nurse and she told me to take some tylenol because it was safe to take while pregnant. now mind you the only thing that has passed these lips are prenatles and asprine that my doc has me taking. so i was kinda skeptical so i said ok fine cramps never went away. so this morn miguel calls and lets her know whats goin on, she eventually calls me to check up on me well i had a lil bleeding so she said go to the emegency room so ugh i went we got there about 430pm fnally got called back i peed in a cup yay lol, and waited they drew some blood only to tell me i had a SEVERE bladder infection they then put me on iv antibiotics (all which are safe for baby) and then she wanted to check the baby to make sure all is well. so we go in and the tech checks everything and all looks well. so she does and internal ultrasound which i refer to as the dildo cam hahah and she finds baby looks at it for a min then points out look thats the heart beat, i damn there melted she let me see it looked like a lil lima bean with a futter in the middle it was AMAZING and then she told me in a min im gonna tell you to hold your breath so i did and then came the most amazing heartbeat i have ever heard in my entire lifetime it was fast but beautiful and music to my ears, a wave of comfort came over me knowing that my baby is ok. now most people cant get a heartbeat that early but i guess i got lucky. so to make a really long story short mom and baby are just fine ill go for my 6wk u/s on wed and get it video tapped......life is good!.....no.....life is GREAT
