Like Sass, can't join a thread. Read through them and couldn't do it. Many are already complaining about how the lupron or any subq shots hurt. I don't have the patience for that. The talk of icing and having to have someone give it to them at home.... don't get me started. Now maybe I have a high threshold for pain, but I do all my own stunts. My H (not dear as we are arguing over the toxins in nalgene bottles this morning - yes we are geeks) will help out with the progesterone shots when I have run out of comfort spots (usually in week 2) but that is it. I like to shoot up and get on with things.

As for the herbs Angie, what did the customs people say? That was smart. We should always just ask Fee what to do as she is our fearless leader. Careful on the beagle! They are the cutest little things, but man our neighbors is constantly digging (and into our yard) and it barks incessantly. Although if only for a year, not too bad. We have a pug and she is the cutest little smashed in face you have ever seen. Plus she rides in my bike basket like a champ. She is a bit high maintenance. We had to buy her a lifevest this week for camping as we found out that she just sinks and doesn't really have the skills to swim. She followed our son into the creek and when it went over her head, she kept walking towards him. It was a sight. Now she can float towards him.

Mego are you done melting down? I am hoping things are mellowing out for you. Hate to imagine you are all out of sorts.

Mel - There are plenty of duties for the AG we can easily share the title. Someone needed to man the post while I was on hiatus and I am glad you were able to do it.

Fee - Have you started writing our screenplay? I am thinking this could be very financially rewarding. Your firm is dying to be made into a movie.

Sass - When do you start your drugs? I can't wait to be there for you. We are going to make a comeback this time. I am so close to stimming I can almost feel the rage in my body. Poor family.... they don't know what is about to happen to them.

Alright girls.. must go to the chickens. It is nice outside and I am sure they would like to spend some time out of their coop today.

Are all the sisters out having a great weekend and I wasn't invited? Is it because I am a total raving B$%^& right now? I am sure my DH (today he is dear for putting up with my nonsense) would really appreciate it if I left him for a few days right now. Any takers? Moody, headache having girl shooting up three times a day??? anyone? I would love to come share the fun with one of you.

Patie - you tell your H to take you to Switzerland and that is an order. Hold out... you know what I am talking about... he will come around.

Any good stories out there? How is Bellini? Where is everyone? I promise I won't be grouchy...

I'm here, Amy! I'm actually at work right now. Yuck. The other full time girl is on vacation so today is day one of 10 in a row for me. Not going to be pretty! Oh well. I was going to say that I'm sorry you're feeling like a bi%$h lately, but it actually makes me feel better about myself that other people have moods, so I'm just going to say thank you. Tell your H that you're doing it so I don't feel so alone in my b!tch!ness. Actually, I'm feeling okay today--no crying in about 3 days which might be a new record for me! I'm sure something will set me off soon, though, so I'm not holding out much hope.

Patie--I know that I shouldn't worry too much about this stupid class and I really don't think I am. It was just something I thought we should do since it was offered--it will be interesting to see if she teaches us anything we don't already know. If anything, I think we both just need a little confidence boost that we will be able to a) give birth to a child without losing our minds (okay maybe that is my fear!) and b) keep said child alive after she is born. I'm going to try my hardest not to cry this week, but no promises! A trip to Switzerland sounds great. I was there about 10 years ago and had a blast. It's so beautiful and relaxing. Just what you need--I agree with Amy..if you have to "hold out" then so be it.

Fee--I was very sorry to hear about the end of the "romance"....hopefully something else will happen so to keep us entertained. Do you think your secretary realizes that she is great conversation for people all over the world? How's Nog?

I went to a bachelorette party last night for my cousin's fiance. She's 23, so I felt a little old anyway and then factor in the whole pregnancy issue--I mean, I couldn't even get drunk so I could at least pretend that I fit in. It was kind of sad. I don't feel gross most of the time, but hanging out at a bar with single, pretty 20 year olds did not help my ego at all!

Well, I supposse I should actually work while at work. Hope everyone is having a great weekend or Monday for the Aussies!

Hellooo

Welll you ladies will be glad to hear that the office "romance" (and I use that word very loosely) still appears to have legs. Apparently secretary and partner had wild relations last week to the extent that secretary hurt her back when she fell out of bed....so yeah Amy I'm thinking a screen play. I'm sick of my job and I think the entertainment biz is calling me...

Meg I'm hearing you on the bacelorette party thingo. I've had a few functions for work lately and I've realised how much more tolerable my co-workers are when I've taken the edge off with a cocktail or seven. Nogs is Ok i think. I still panic when he has his quiet days. Like today. I spent most of the time googling "baby movements' instead of attending to the urgent draftig which is due for filing in court tomorrow. I really need a good slapping.

Amy, glad to see H has earned his D over the weekend. Sorry I wasn't there over the weekend to assist with your mood problems. Not sure what I could have done apart from offer food...and, no... that's about all I can think of...BTW like the sound of your doggy life jacket... never seen one of them before???

Patie, I think that your DH just lost his "D" after his Switzerland comment. Damn that sounded like a great idea, what's not to like????

Angie, great to hear that Dr D managed to summon up some kind of intuition at your last appointment...its about time. And about your testing, why didn't they run those damned tests at the start? It peeves me a bit that I read time and time again that clinics do testing only after a few BFNs though. Seems like a lot of ladies only get full tests done late in the day after a lot of wasted effort. Oh well on the up-side if the things that they are testing for are positive there is usually something that can be done about them...

Sass, most definatley BIL's story will make the grade here. I was just wondering about him the other day and whether jail had straightened him out??? Guess not huh? So what has he been up to lately??? How long till you start stimming again???? So exciting and yes, given the lapse in time you qualify as a born again IVF virgin...

Mel, read your post about putting off having kids until business and finance were stable. I must say that I have kicked myself multiple times for delaying having kids and just wish I had got onto it sooner...I'm like you in thinking I wouldn't have needed ART if I had blinking well had kids about a decade ago!!! Mind you I shudder to think about what kind of parent I would have been back then! As far as work goes, you are putting me to shame with your relentless work ethic....stop it!

Well I'd better go, hello to all absent sisters.

I have hot water now and sometimes have TWO showers a day. What luxury.

Fee

Hello ladies - greetings from a feezing cold, grey, wet Melbourne. It is horrible here today and I have a cold, my office is freezing and I want to go home. :(

Amy - hope you have a fab time camping - injecting in the tent if I'm not mistaken? You can add it to the list of funny locations the sistas have injected.

Pretty quiet with the other sistas at the moment. You must be all out doing fun summer things. I hope you are having lots of fun.

And Fee - your climate in WA seems so much better than here! In fact, I may re-locate there as your clinic also seems so much better! Did you say you had all the immunology tests done before you started ? that's pretty impressive.

I had the blood tests today - 10 YES 10 you did read that correctly! - 10 vials of blood were filled - and I didn't even wimper. I am very proud of myself - 2 years ago I would virtually faint after a blood test.

Also started the herbs yesterday - the powder potion is DISGUSTING - tastes like ground up bitter bark of a tree. Gross - I have to drink it every night. And when I said to "D"H that he should try it so he could understand what I was going through, he said that there was no way he was going to drink anything that was aimed at regulating a woman's menstrual cycle....! Huh!

Oh and I had my uterus injected yesterday with saline solution - bloomin' hurt I must say but the good news is that despite 2 fibroid removals over the years, it all looks normal so that is good news.

Trip to the States is all booked - I go in Sept - woo hoo! very exciting. Oh and I phoned up Customs and spk to a very laid back Customs Official - he just said take a letter from your Dr and "you'll be right" - I hope I am otherwise I'll be needing Mr Sassy's number quick sharp!

That's all from me - enjoy your weeks - I think I might bunk off home and feel sorry for myself with my cold.

Helloo

I'm just waiting for ca pooling buddy. She is going to a big Ashram in India this week and so is doing lots of organising. I think I will be hanging back a bit late tonite!

No real updates on secretary, her work performance has been pretty awful lately but then so has mine so I guess we're both distracted.

Angie, well done on your 10 vials. Yep I had a whole battery of tests done at the start I remember at the lab the lady just taking out fistfuls of vials and dumping them in the kidney dish. At the time I thought holy crap I'm not gonna have any blood left. From memory they took about 20 vials or so... Great news on the uterus test, not something that I've had done, sounds ouch! and that tea sounds bloody awful. I don't blame DH for making that pathetic excuse for not trying it. I still think he should have some, may help him get in touch with his feminine side. You are going to have a blast in the US, I can't wait to go back some day, DH and I talk about that a LOT!

Amy, hope you are taking out your anger on the mountains. I don't know what that would quite entail, maybe kicking some rocks or something. I'm all for a childish tantrum every now and again though...

Patie, have a great trip to your Mum and Dad's how long are you going for??? Will you have internet access there??

Have to rush, car pooling buddy apepars to be ready to go!

Hey Everyone!

I don't have alot of time, I am in Ohio for a conference all well, and my hotel roomate is sleeping - I just checked my voicemails and emails, and I think I'd like to get to the fitness center sometime in the next 30 minutes to burn off the banana's foster ice cream sundae from heaven I ate for dinner last night!

Fee- Hooray! The on again off again romance is back on! I was starting to reach for my anti-depressants for a moment - fell off the bed, eh? Sounds like fun! But I think that entertaiment attorney might be RIGHT up your alley!!! THen you can pitch your movie - Office Romance! I hope the 2 showers a day are still the norm for you! That is fab!! And ya know, we can't spent too much time worring about what could have been, right? But still alittle bit of time can't hurt

(this internet connection is slower than a turtle- AH!!!)

Angie- Congrats on your 10 VIALS and still standing, bravo to you! What was the Uterus test for? Was that just to make sure you were still Roto Rooter'ed out? And I totally think that your DH should lovenly try your bloody terrible tea, just to feel your pain! (can you add sugar to it?) Where are you headed in the US?

Amy- Have fun camping!! It should maybe help you center your chee! Relax - enjoy the wonders of nature!

(if this internet was any slower, I could have walked to California from here by the time I type the letters I am thinking!!!)

Patie- Where do your mom and dad live? Sorry no gift from DH - but maybe that cute dance was your gift! I vote for Swiss Trip too, but then again, if it's a gift from him, I don't think my vote counts for much!

(I think I've entered menapause waiting for this internet connection)

Mego- Working, working, working -trust me, I know the feeling! I feel your pain! So a Bach party, huh! How much fun can't that be for your right now! I guess you can officially be the DD though! Maybe you had a widdle bit of fun?

Okay so really quickly before I go all gray waiting for the internet:

Bellini- She is having some real anxiety issues with the cage training, my feeling is OH WELL she'll get over it, she's 9 weeks old! DH is a bit more sensitive and feels she needs some help in these areas, we'll see. He has her all to himself this week - in fact last night was his first night waking up with her in the middle of the night! I hope he's not a zombie today- but with that said, tonight was my first night sleeping though the night without Bellini's alarm at 3AM or 4AM and then again at 6AM - so I am happy! But I am sure the opposite is true for DH!

Other than that, I am in Ohio, working, and I hope to play a little bit with some of our clients! :)

XXOO!

Hey girls!

Sorry I have been gone a few days. Out of town and then when we came home I was exhausted! It's tiring just to sit up these days. I hope that part is over soon. I am a go go go kind of person.

Mel- where in Ohio? That is where my family lives (everyone except the parents) I am from there. I hope you are having fun. I am usually bored to tears when we go! Sorry little Bellini is keeping momma up at night. Shelby did that too. Mostly she woke us up to potty, or eat in the morning. Now she is too old and lazy to give up sleep for potty time!

Amy- have fun camping! I have always wanted to try that camping thing. But I am not fond of the out of doors so DH is hesitant to take me!

Angie- I'm sorry your herbs taste blah. Way to go on 10 vials. You are so brave! I had to get 3 taken last time I went to the Dr. and the lady was like "you should eat a snack very soon" I didn't feel faint at all so I think I ate a couple of hours later. You can't phase us IVF girls! Bring it on- we can take it! I haven't done the uterus test either but it doesn't sound like fun. Glad everything turned out ok. Can't wait for you to come to the states!!

vicky- If you are reading this I hope you are ok. I'm thinking about you. Take care!

Hello to Patie, Fee, Sassy,& Meg!!
Well, it is about to rain here so I better get my errands run. Be back later!
Jenn
