6+ weeks and having some cramping on left ovarie!

Hello ladies -

I am glad to say that I am prego 6+ weeks but I am having a small concern. I started feeling some slight pinching on my left side ovarie sometimes the pain is very intense for about 10 seconds then it will go away. It somewhat feels like when I would ovulate. I did call my nurse and she saids its all very normal and that by 12 weeks I will not feel it as much. Have any of you felt this before? I will feel more at ease to know that some of you felt this and that it went away. This will be our first baby so I seem to freak out for everything I feel. Hi. I feel the same way in my right side. Sometimes it's upper and sometimes it's lower area. Have you had an U/S yet? I'm sched for the 27th of july. I do hope it is normal. I'm so deathly scared of ectopics. I had beta #4 done today and it was in the 11,000 range (rt where I should be). Good luck!

I had it on right side. It went away after the first trimester.

Hi Anna -

This morning I woke up with no pain at all. I did have some cramping last night and some back pain but I am also very scared. My u/s is July 23 and I can't wait. I started working today and it was the longest day. At about 2 I began to feel extremely tired and irritated and I was freaking out. These hormones are driving me crazy, but for now my left side pain is gone. These cramps come and go and I guess that is what makes it ok. But like you I am terrified. I have been reading stuff on ectopic pregnacy and it just freaks me out more. Good luck and let me know how your u/s went.

I know about getting freaked out about the stuff we read. Especially the bad ones. I try to control myself from doing that but sometimes I just can't help it. My cramps were quiet today too. Some days I think I may just be imagining them but plenty of girls here have them too. I'm so relived with Deepa's post that she had them and they went away. Let's just keep thinking positive and enjoy our pregnancy. Take care of yourself.
