Breasts Not Sore Anymore

Post by faithful »

Hi all,

I've noticed over the past week or so that my nipples have been declining in the amount of tenderness. This has worried me, of course, as I am 12 weeks pregnant and I thought I should be feeling breast soreness for quite some time throughout the pregnancy.

I have had a breast reduction (6 years ago) and I thought that maybe that could have something to do with it. But if that was the case, would they even have been sore to begin with?

I wanted to know if there was anyone (whether you have had a breast reduction or not) that has experienced the breast tenderness/soreness just disappearing around this stage or even before now?

Mine were tender in the beginning but faded pretty quickly. I am almost 28 weeks and have had no tenderness since since about the 8-9 week. My bb's have not even grown past a B cup! :? I can still wear some A's!!!!
I hear this a lot so don't let this worry you. It's easier said than done of course!

Good luck~

My boobs were so sore those first 3 months that if anyone even looked at them I cringed! But that's definitely gone away...the last 3 months or so have been pretty much tenderness free. I wish I could say they had stopped growing too, but I've gone up 3 cup sizes! So don't worry about it, the lack of pain is absolutely normal.

My boobs were never sore! I'm 23 weeks pregnant tomorrow and every once in awhile my nipples will feel a little tender but nothing major. Just goes to show that every woman is different. Don't stress at all.. I have found that symptoms come and go. Take for example morning sickness...I was SO sick for the first 12 weeks all day long, then it went to being sick in the morning only, then at 16 weeks it went away altogether, then at 18 weeks it came back...and now it is gone again! Pregnancy is just one be WONDER!! Enjoy it you have made it to 12 weeks that is a huge accomplishment!!!!

Me too!!! I am 14 weeks preggers and my breasts stopped being tender! I was freaked out b/c I just stopped alot of my IVF drugs (estrogen, etc) and wondered if it was hurting the preggers or not. I guess that happens, from what I am reading, but I feel for you! Eery little diference is scary!!! Best of luck!!!!
