Hi Di!! I'm 5 and a half weeks pg and I havent felt anything either yet!! Have scan a week today and am trying not to worry, I'm sure it'll be fine.

The only thing Ive felt is slightly sore boobs, but I think the cyclogest does that to you (which I'm still taking - are you??) so that might or might not be a pg symptom.

I think that sickness might kick in a little later - from 6 weeks or after.

There's so much to worry about isnt there? Doesnt it feel just wonderful to be over the first hurdle though.

We're really close in dates so hopefully can be pg buddies?? Will be good to compare notes with someone at a similar stage.

Look forward to speaking with you next week. Only log on at work monday-friday.

Take Care & dont worry about lack of symptoms- lots of love - Jo. XXXX

OMG - Diane,

Can't believe i missed your post on the other side - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

You must both be so happy - don't worry about not feeling anything yet, i didn't until i was about 7 weeks although everyone seems to be different. Is it 3 weeks since your insemination? Coz that would make you 5 weeks - oh, i hope i'm not confusing everything!!!! I might be talking out of my bum - all this pg stuff makes you slightly forgetful!

Whatever - fab news, i'm so pleased for you,
Take care, Lizzy xxx
Hi Di,

congratulations - its fantastic to see a positive IUI and that it does actually work we gave up with IUI and went IVF in the end and I have just got a positive too. I am six weeks today. I didn't feel anything either to begin with infact I was so worried at not having any symptons that I nearly went out and bought another pg test to check but managed to talk myself out of it. Anyway had my scan today and saw two flickering heartbeats so now I am starting to believe it also the nausea has started to kick in the last couple of days. Have you got a scan date yet.
take care
lots of love
chrissi

Hi
I want to say congratulations to you, you must be over the moon.

Don't worry about the sickness, I was like yourself I couldn't convince myself I was pregnant until I had the sickness. I posted asking when sickness would start.

I started being sick around week 7, but it wasn't just morning it was on and off all day and I wished it would go away. I couldn't eat big meals and had to snack all day to stop myself from being sick.

May-be you will be a lucky one and get away with the sickness.

But hope all goes well.

Love

Shell
13wks 1d pg
xx

Hiya

Great to hear some more brilliant news - congratulations!! don't you worry about not feeling anything yet, I didn't really feel pregnant 'til about 12 weeks!! :0 As for sickness, I was one of the lucky ones and hardly suffered at all - I'm now 22.5 weeks pregnant with twin boys so it really doesn't seem to matter.

Can't wait to read future posts about scans, etc! Take care of yourselvs and your little cargo!

LOL Helen xx
Hi Di - i didn't realise that they counted it from the first day of your period, I was so excited when the doc said i was nearly 5 weeks. It's like you get a free 2 weeks!!

Hope you get away with not feeling too sick - i've not been too bad. If you eat somethiing every couple of hours, it helps and i wore the sea bands too. I'm 14 weeks now so it should wear off soon. OMG - it's gone so quick!!!

Look after you and your little bean,
Lizzy xxxx
Hi Diane,

Congratulations!! Don't worry about not feeling sick yet - I've not really had much at all and have never thrown up and I'm now 14 weeks - guess I was just lucky. Everyone's different. I had the sore boobs and constipation (both still ongoing). Someone told me once that you shouldn't worry if your symptoms are present one day and not the next - they come and go!

Have you got a 6 week scan booked? Do you have one for IUI? If you do, hope it goes okay - it's great once you've seen a heart beat!

Alison xx
hi girls, just to say thanks for the info you have given to Diane about lack of symptoms. We're together time wise(about 5 wks) and I haven't felt any symptoms either except slightly painful boobs. It's such a comfort to know that its probably a bit too early for any symptoms to kick in.

Also - CHRISSI --- brilliant news !!!!!!!! Weren't we cycling together last time?? You almost bought another pregnancy test - I've done 3 so far and have a "spare" in the bathroom cabinet!!
I still can't believe it - roll on scan-day (friday).

Lots of Love - Jo.XXXXX
