Hey Kerri- The PIO shots are just okay. I can now feel it more going in and it hurts a little bit. I think my muscle is just tired and sore. I'll get through them, though- totally worth it. How are they for you?

I am happy to say that all is ok. Whew, I was really worrying this a.m. Today's beta is 3,914 and doubling time is 43.86 hours according to the betabase site. Although I have no syptoms, I cannot tell you how relieved I am to get the positive news. My first ultrasound is scheduled for 8/27. Looking forward to everyone's ultrasound stories next week.

Again, thanks for the support.

Hi Ladies, hope everyone is doing well. I'm so tired at work today I can hardly keep my eyes open. Stretch, yawn!

I've had some cramping on and off the last couple of days that really has me worried. And when I press on one little spot on my stomach just to the left of the center under my belly button I can feel some pain. Has anyone had anything like this? Should I be worried? Is there any possibility to have an ectopic pregnancy with IVF? I haven't had any spotting though.

I know, we're all obsessing these days. Counting down 5 days until ultrasound, ugh...seems like forever...

hey everyone! congrats to all the newly pregnant! lynn i see your having twins too.... i'm so excited but scared half out of my mind LOL. It seems strange to go from a family of three to a family of five. ( my dd is fixing to be nine)

daly i completely understand. I'm fine when i wake up( after 12 hours) until about 11:00 then i start getting a little tired and then super nauseated. i take a nap around 1 or 2... then i'm in bed by 8. LOL
the only real complaint i have thats driving me crazy is the nausea. It seems to hang on no matter how much or little i eat.

I go for another u/s on friday. I'm finally getting better about not being so worried. once i saw those heartbeats i got to feeling a little better and each day that goes by i'm more and more excited.
doc told me friday that if it wasn't for my bicarnuate uterus that he would havealready released me. AND I'm off of progesterone ! whooo hooo... no more shots... no more pills...

Jen - I'm off the PIO shots, just doing the crinone gel now. How long do you have to do the shots?

Sher - it looks like you got good numbers, maybe you can rest a little easier now.

Shellbell - I'm having twinges of pain on my right side also. It mainly happens though when I'm stretching, and occasionally when I stand up from sitting.

Everybody have a great day!

Hello everyone,

I was away on vacation for a while and am on the computer for the first time in a week. I had my Week 6 u/s today and they saw a heartbeat! Oh the relief!! I had been holding my breathe for days before the u/s. RE said it was a nice strong heartbeat too. :D

Hope everyone is well!!!

Hi March Mom's!

I have been reluctant to post cause I don't want to jynx anything but I have read many of your helpful posts and finally have the courage to post.

I had no idea what a stressful thing having a baby through IVF was. I really expected that after getting a BFP, that I would get to relax sheesh! Now, I just surf the internet (as not to drive Dh crazy lol) between tests or scans. I am so worried about anything going wrong as I see many are. Good to know I'm not alone!

I had my first u/s this week (5weeks 1 day) and saw 2 embryos. I am a little upset cause one is much smaller than the other and since the u/s I am super dragged out. I am hoping that my low mood is due to the change in my drugs.. was taking 800mg Prog and 2mg estrogen daily(suppositories), but just reduced to 400progesterone only as my blood levels were good. Just really sucks to feel so much worry when I should just be happy to be prego at all after 4 years of trying!

Take Care!

DH and I are both 37.
3x IUI all = BFN
IVF #1 Jan 07 = 100% failure to fertilise, emergency icsi then BFN
IVF #2 June 25 = BFP

Hi Art- I know what you mean. Every little twitch send me into a panic. I am spotting, which doesn't help, even though my doctors aren't super concerned about it. What did your dr. say about the one embryo being smaller? Do you go back for another u/s? It's such a long, arduous process!!

Hello ladies,

All is well here, I guess. Still not feeling a whole lot. This morning when I got up I felt like AF was coming, but it has since gone away. It makes me so nervous. I am at the point in this pregnancy where I was with my last when I miscarried, so that makes me nervous as well.

I am leaving today for vacation for a week. We are going to Puerto Vallarta with another couple and their 18 month old. I hope this is what I need to get relaxed and not worry so much.

Have a good week!

Welcome Art! I think we are all pretty much the same...wonder what every little feeling means. Sometimes I get a feelings down there and don't know what is going on. Sometimes they even feel slightly premenstrual, but it is most like just the uterus growing and expanding that causes these feelings.

Jeneden - I have experience spotting too. It has happened to me twice and it scared me so. My doc said it is nothing to worry about. I have two pregnancy books and they both say that spotting happens to about one in three women who have normal healthy pregnancies. So we are definitely not alone.

Hey everyone, i had my 7wk6 day ultrasound... baby a is 12 mm and babyb is 13 with heartbeats of 158 and 166 respectively. Doc says everything is perfect and all blood work excellent. Dh asked if we could quit worrying now about miscarraige and such. Doc replied that if i had a normal uterus ( mine is divided) or if one baby was in right and one in left side... then he would say not to worry. But since both babies are in left horn can still only take it one day at a time and that i can expect bed rest around 20 weeks. In other words... babies are doing great..... do I now have room to carry them for at least 34 weeks? I knew this was probably an issue but they haven't said anything about it for a while so i was a little sad to realize i'm going to have to count each day as it comes. Thought i was gonna get to relax now LOL. I shoulda known better. dh took it differently than me... he felt better hearing that babies were progressing well and was comforted that they will watch me and do everything they can.
so mixed emotions today. although the babies have tripled in sizesince last week!!!!!!
