So I tested again this morning, BFN. I am really bummed out, I know I should have waited. I am just hanging all my hopes on it still being too early. Saturday will tell... 3 more days.

jane honey - i am so sorry.... a good cry is good for the soul.... ok - you aren't out yet... there are many women out there that do not get positive hpt's for quite sometime.... and if AF starts this weekend... you will be back in the 2 ww in about 2 weeks :D

i understand completely about the progesterone... it plays mean tricks on us.... but at least next time we know what to expect.

it has been giving me sharp pains on my left side... when i roll over in bed or move to quickly... i have to stop... and wait for the pain to go away. i am a little concerned about a cyst at this point. i just woke up and i am so sick to my stomach. i think that is the only thing that is getting me through this disappointment right now... is knowing i can stop the progesterone after saturday if my beta is negative (which i am pretty sure it will be... i keep testing like a fool and it keeps telling me negative)

we will get there.... we will :D

i have already had many good crys - and i told myself...come saturday -after my bloodwork and results... i am going to go out and have a nice fruity drink!!!! (i am not a big drinker... only like to have one every now and then... but haven't in months because of ttc)... this month.... i will! already have my favorite drink picked out!

sending you many hugs sweetie.... and pretty soon.... we will be sending each other many congratulations along with the hugs!

Hi Ladies,

Positive thoughts!!! We can't all get BFNs.

I have been craving coffee and now I can have one I'm not that bothered :) . Looking forward to a nice glass of wine with DH when he comes home. I'm not a big drinker either but when something is forbidden it seems all the more appealing :D

Will wait until tomorrow to phone clinic for next step - will give me and DH a chance to talk about our next steps. Neither of us are ready to think IVF yet. I may take a month out and go and stay with my family in England for a couple of weeks. :D

very nice!!!!! a nice vacation :D

i am thinking about going to visit my friend in texas if this doesn't work out. i already called my doctor... to see if we can jump right into ivf... where i only have one tube... i would rather try that now... than putting all these meds in my body for the next few months with IUI's.

i am waiting to see what he thinks. if it is a go... i will most likely have to take a month off... while insurance approves it etc... and if that is the case... i really want to visit my friend .

enjoy your wine and coffee! you deserve it!

Jane I am so sorry. You posted while I was typing and I didn't see it right away. What a complete bummer. I am echoing everything that Jenn put so well. It will happen, it is just a matter of getting there. And Definitely have some you time and enjoy those beverages.

Thank you for the hugs and the nice messages :D

Just been for a walk in the woods with DH and then came back and opened the wine. Just had one, you never know, I could test positive in the morning. I still have hope before AF arrives :)

Have decided to sit next month out and then try again in September. If that doesn't work we'll maybe think about adoption. I was ill for a long time with chronic fatigue syndrome and have worked for the last fifteen years to get my body back into a healthy state. Getting sick again scares me and maybe I'm wrong but I don't think pumping myself full of IVF drugs is going to be good. Who knows, maybe at some point you'll see me on the IVF board but right now we're not ready :?

Take care,

Jane

Jane, Jenn & Shoddygirl,

Don't lose total hope until your betas. I know how hard and frustrating it is :( but you're right, it WILL work. It took me 3 cycle of clomid, 3 cycles of injectibles and IUI and surgery to finally get where I am. I remember how depressed  I would get every month that passed but, it finally paid off. I got my beta levels about 10 minutes ago and they seem really good (11,259) :D . I'm excited but still so gaurded. I go in for my 1st ultrasound at 9:15 on Aug. 1st. I hope to feel a little better once they see something.

Jane, I think adoption is a wonderful thought. :) There are so many children out there that need loving parents like you and DH. I hope you enjoyed your wine! Even it you test comes out + one glass wine would never make a difference!

I wish us all lots of luck!!! :D :D :D :D :D

Thank you for all your support,, you guys have been really great and have helped me through this whole cycle! I also thought it was funny that some of you live in MA, I do too. How small the world is :D !!!

Dear Felicia,

Thank you for that lovely message. You are right, we have to keep our hopes up (not easy when the progesterone is making you feel very fed up!). In the grand scheme of things trying for eighteen months with surgery and a failed IUI my situation is nothing in comparison to what some of the ladies on these boards have been / are going through. So pleased that you got your BFP after everything you have been through and I can understand your caution. Have you told anybody yet?

I took another test this morning (just in case!) but it was still BFN. Looking forward to a trip to England now :D. Will be good to catch up with my friends.

Jenn, Shoddygirl - thinking of you. Not long now :)

2 more days to go and I am at wits end. I don't know how to feel anymore. I do not want to get too excited at every twinge that I think may be something (and there have been plenty of strange twinges.) But I also do not want to be a downer about it either. I am just not a negitive thinker.

I do not think I have ever been in a more stressful situation, I literally do not know what to think or where to put my thoughts. It is all that I can think about and I am trying so hard not to think about it. I'm so confused...

Why is Saturday so far away!

whew... I needed to vent.

hi girls

checking in to see how everyone is doing :D had a pretty draining day.... i am just not so sure this worked out and i am not looking forward to doing another IUI... but.... we have to do what we have to do :D

my doctor is going to have me do one more IUI if my beta is negative... then we are going to go ahead with IVF.

i feel way to good (physically) right now to be pregnant.

shoddygirl - we will know for sure in about 48 hours.

will you get your results on saturday? or do you have to wait until monday?

Morning ladies,

The witch showed up this morning :( Incredibly painful too, don't know if that's the progesterone. We called the clinic and they said that everything was perfect, they see no need to change anything and they are happy for us to do another IUI in the same way when we are ready, they say we don't need any medications before the trigger shot :) We'll probably wait a month and try again in September. My Chinese doctor probably won't be happy, she was talking yesterday about us taking a break and then conceiving naturally. We'll see, yesterday and Wed were not good days to make big decisions but I feel more rational today! We've planned a quiet weekend just us which will be nice :)

I will be thinking of you guys tomorrow, today is a really hard day I know. Can't give you any advice as to how to deal with it, just keep busy I guess 8)

Take care and big positive thoughts from Germany :D

jane - i am sorry AF showed and she showed up being very painful :(

i am so glad you are planning a nice weekend :D

you know, i was sitting here thinking (just like you mentioned)... if everything is perfect... then why didn't it work?

i took another test this morning.... negative. so i have little hopes that it will be positive tomorrow when i go in for my beta.

i just don't understand... i had about 3 mature follies... why didn't it work out?

i am so bummed out.... pretty soon i will be wishing for AF to show up so we can get started.... again.

have a great weekend jane :)
