I was wondering when your babies started rolling over. My son is 5 months old and he is not rolling over yet.

Hi,
Don't worry if your baby isn't rolling over yet, they all progress at their own rate.
My daughter Kady always hated being on her tummy, she refused to roll over (would get as far as on her side, then roll back). If i laid her on her tummy she would get so frustrated and would just cry, she hated it.
It wasn't until last month (almost 11 months old) that she started crawling and rolling onto her tummy. Now there is no stopping her.
Every baby is different, they will all do things at their own pace, some sooner than others.

HI,
Jessica has just started rolling over at 6 and a half months, dosent attempt to crawl, just wiggles her bum and legs in the air. She didnt like going on her tummy and would stress after a few seconds, so we never really put her on it often. So like michelle said, try not to worry every child has their own agenda, yours will probably do something different before other children.

My little girl was about 6months when she rolled did it once and then not for ages now at nearly 11 months she crawls all over - I know it is hard but he will do it one day - enjoy the time when they can't move because once they can the fun really starts

All children develop so differently. Isabella has been a very active child from the get go and started rolling from back to front at 4.5 months..she is almost 6 months and is crawling (lunging) and I need to keep a constant eye on her. My neighbor's boy is 5 days older and has not started rolling over. I love that Isabella is active but on the down side she does not like to be held...I always want her to make a 'cuddle' with me but she is too busy...and sometimes it makes me upset that she doesn't want to be held.

My boys staerted rolling over at 3 1/2 mths, crawling at 5mths and one of the twins is trying to walk..he's almost there because he can stand alone without support..the other twin is a little behind him..they all progress at different rates

Hi all,

Glad to hear our babies are not the only ones hating being on their tummy. We are getting a bit worried and thought we'd have to force them to spend time on their tummy in order for them to learn to crawl. But it sounds like its happening to everyone else so its ok to let them be.

My daughter threw up every time I put her on tummy. Eventually I gave up. She started sitting up probably around 8 months and walking on her own at 10 months 1 day. She never really laid on her stomach and didn't really crawl much until after she could set up and could crawl without her stomach ever touching the ground. As others have said, they are all different with their own little quirks. I spent many months worried about her lack of tummy time, but there wasn't much as I could do as she cried and vomitted. She did roll over (back to stomach) one time around 5 or 6 months, she threw up and never did it again. Anyway she is almost 3 years old now and couldn't be more active.
