Angie [/b Its funny you should ask about the whole sex thing I was talking to my RE about it today (GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE )... she said for us to have sex tonight we have been on a every other day scqed. to get good fresh sperm for the retrival. So after tonight we can not do anything for a while as she put it the next time he ejaculates is in her office. Did your RE do blood work on your hubby?ours did she tested all his chromasones as well as his testasterone among other things. MY DH TESTOSTERONE was normal but on the lower side of normal she put him on meds also to beef everything up for retrival day....I cant wait....

CroElla HANG in there on that horrid 2 ww i will soon be joining you......talk about injection site bruising I dont know whats worse my belly or my arms.... my arms must look bad yesterday while in line at the market there was a woman standing behind me looking at my veins in shock... i must have looked like a druggie to her LOL. She should only know the sheer torture of going through IVF....................

Hey! Just an update, had my appointment this morning. She started me on 3 vials of Gonal F, decreased Lurpon to 5 units, and 15 units of Low Dose HCG. I'm with you on the brusing of the stomach, mine looks horrible! I was so nervous when the nurse called that I forgot to ask her all the questions I had in my head as to how did the u/s look. I swear this woman makes me feel like I am the dummest person on the planet and when she talks I completely forget my train of thought...she scares me
I am so excited for us all, we're so close!!!
Pineapple thing - my husband read this somewhere and he has already bought some pineapple( although it's a tad bit too early. I dare not say anything about this or I may crush his very sensitive feelings at this point. He acts like he's the one taking shots or something.)

Hi Nicola! Yup DS here...I'm doing this to be a single mommy. I may have more questions once I get closer to the actual procedure...for now my only question is when will I ovulate hahaha

It was a long weekend! Not just work but enlisting my friends' opinions on my short list haha. I DID finally make a decision this morning (slightly because one of my top choices had only 7 vials left for IUI- the toyboy). If he had more, I think I'd have a bit more time to make a decision though time would NOT have helped a freakin bit! I wound up buying 3 vials from the donor with 7 vials left. I went with 3 because my clinic says give it 3-4 tries then if no BFP then switch donors....what do you mean no BFP, it is gonna happen on the 1st try guys hehe. Besides if not BFP by Oct then I need to wait til after I get new job next June. So for now it is just hurry up and wait for my physical then AF. In the meantime I just practice with my OP kit...so far nothing

So HOPING beginning to mid Aug.....wish me luck!

My 2ww seems to be turning into months. I feel totally normal now and feel a little bit down. Anyone know the earliest day to start HPT? I am currently 11dp2dt.

Thanks for the wonderful updated list .....I am so proud of you for not POS I would have tested by now I have seen people test as early as 10 days and show BFP......I have also seen people test early and get BFN then go for b/w and get a BFP. so one never knows I am the kind of person who wont belive it till its in my blood........ But i will still test anyway... You are almost there....I am hoping you get your BFP

Perquele.....Good Question.....When does any1 ovulate??? Wish i knew!!!!
I have a preety good idea of my cycle and usually get it with in a day or so..... but for iui cycles i use the Lh wee stcik to test, then i know!!!

here is the update...went to RE again today everyday lately.. have 12 follies still the largest is 18 i think she said the smallest was 13 so not much growth from yesterday she gave me an injection in the office of a diffrent stimm i think the name began with a M not sure if it was menopur??? Is that a stimm? anyway she is calling me tonight to tell me how much follistim to inject tonight and also lowered to lupron to 5 a day.. Im still hoping to be triggered tomm. but im not so sure its going to happen tomm. oh WELL whats the diffrence tomm ot thurs either way my retrival is within reach.....

Hi Tracey,
Thank you for including me in the list, now i fell "official" lol. I went for my first weekly ultrasound and bloodwork today and I have started my estrogen patches today as well. I am getting close to my trasfer day but so far it doesn't fell as stressfull as my fresh cycle was, we will see though

Thanks Tracey for keeping up with all the info. I had my ET tues.7/24 and had 5 good embies. Only put back 2embies(1-8cell and 1-6cell) My RE grades 4 being best and 1 worst. I had 3 #4's and 2#3's. I hope they stick. This 2ww stuff is tough. Bedrest yesterday, going back to work today. I am a nurse in an ob/gyn office so they have all been great through this process. Only doing phone duties this week. I hope your embies stick too!!! Good luck!!

Tracey (cwrj00): am SO hoping for your BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i say --- if you've come this far not doing hpt ----- just wait for bloodtest at doc's office!! i know -- pretty easy to offer advice from the cheap seats! while i've not come to that stage as of yet, is what i INTEND to do --- NOT do hpt's.....have just read way too many stories..... i will try to wait.....i may be singing a different tune when my time comes ALSO ---- A BIG THANK YOU FOR LIST UPDATE --- YOU ROCK

PREPARE FOR TRIGGER FYI on menopur - yes, is a stimm....is actually part of my daily inject regime - along w/ gonal-f.....can't really offer much else about it I see a BFP on your horizon my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Far as dh bloodwork you mentioned --- we actually did ALL of our work-up/testing before we even got to RE.......so really - all RE did was review in detail - both of our records/work up and get us going in the right direction! dh not taking any meds.....he actually has 2 teenage boys from prior marriage - so we know his little swimmers are capable......just that it's now 13 years later and dh is a smoker which has been a contributing factor to his swimmers slowing down -- according to all doc's we've seen and talked to....SO -aren't ya glad you asked?? ha, ha......am thinkin' of ya girl --- hoping for your TRIGGER!!!!!

WOOHOOO......Just got home from RE I am triggering tonight at 2:30 am with retrival set for fri 7/27 (my aunts birthday)...As of today I have 13 follies.....smallest is 16 largest is 20...should grow more tonight as she gave me more menopur in the office and i am injecting my last dose of follistim this afternoon 425 iu. So this is it ladies.... I will try to keep you all updated as i go along but Im starting to have some pain my RE gave me pain killers Today i may just take them and lay down.

Im thinking of everyone.......
