Please help try to set my mind at rest!

This is our 5th go at IVF and we had blastocyst transfer last Wednesday afternoon, and just now I have had some bleeding bright red, lot loads, but `heavy bright red spotting'. As I have been here before I am fearing the worst, but have any of you Mummies had this and gone on to have positive results??

Supposed to be doing my test on Saturday, but don't know if it is worth it now, feel horrible.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

D x (= Dawn and depressed).
Me 34, DH, 37. Married for 11 years, ttc for 6+, failed 4 x fresh IVF tmts. 5th attempt at Lister Hospital gave us Megan on 5 April 2004 with a very straightforward pregnancy and labour. Attempt number 6 to start hopefully September 2007!
Hi Dawn

I do post quite often, I had spotting on day 13 and tested negative ( I tested a day early) then I tested on day 14 and I got a positive. I have had spotting on and off for 12 weeks some being red and alot, and baby is still doing fine. I am now 13wks4d pg and still everything is going ok and get spotting on and off, but hospital do say not to ignore it.
Lets keeping my fingers crossed for you that this is implantation bleeding.
Love
Shell.xx
Thanks Shell, sort of put my mind at rest, I won't give up hope totally!

If anyone else has any positive news like this I would really appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks again

D x

HI Dawn - I was just wondering how you are getting on. have you had any more bleeding or has it stopped.
You are due to test in 2 days aren't you?

Hi Kate,

Had some `tiny' bits of bleeding, only when I go to the loo, and not each and every time, just here and there. Still thinking the worst, but it some ways I deal with it better that way, so if I get a + then it is an absolute bonus!

Can officially test on Saturday, but gagging to get it over and done with today or tomorrow with a first response kit, at least then I will know!

Feeling OK in myself though, just want confirmation one way or the other.

Thank you for your message, and wishing you lots of luck for the future.

D x
