Hi Alison, Thanks for the thoughts. Yip, scan is booked for 6th August (that'll be 7 weeks for me). Worry will probably never stop until b-day - been here before and despite a very strong heartbeat at 7 weeks on my last attempt, lost the baby not long after, so naturally that's always with me. It's weird - a lot of people on here sound like they stay with their clinic for ages - up here, if everything is ok at the 7 week scan they 'sign you off' as a normal pregnancy through the normal clinics, so you panic about the lack of a 'safety net'! Anyway, fingers crossed for us all. Zoe

Zoe, I do hope that everything goes okay this time - I imagine that getting past 7 weeks for you is a huge hurdle. At my clinic they 'discharge' you after your 2nd scan if you opt for one (they give you one at 6 weeks and then you can opt for one at 8-9 weeks if you want - but you have to pay for both of course). I guess that they're still there if you have any problems, but to be honest, my clinic is in London and we live in Brighton, so it's much easier to stick with the NHS! I did call the Lister when I had some bleeding, as well as the local midwife, and they did offer me a scan immediately, rather than waiting 4 days on the NHS - but it would have meant travelling to London, so I didn't bother.
