Hi Jomae
We have a appointment tomorrow with our new clinic. I guess we will have to do the three month wait there too. Just going with iui's this time round. Aren't they trouble once they are walking around. My DS was walking at 10 months too he seemed far to little to be walking.

Hi

Yea things are moving on really fast now. We found out that this clinic also now does ivf when using donor sperm but that's ok. I hope this time it's 3rd time lucky! We don't have to wait the three month stand down so we are just in the process of selecting a donor from the list. I am going in for a untrasound on the 21st and then start my cycle soon after that. Yep dh is fine with it all now, I think he is more excited than I am. I'm just not looking forward to the meds again and having to drag my ds back and forth to the clinic. It's difficult making up reasons why I am getting blood tests all the time.

Yep your ds will keep you buzy chasing him around the place now! How is things going with getting your house organzied?

In know that flu is terrible I had to travel 45 mins just to get my ds into see a doctor. All the doctors rooms around us were totally booked out.

Hi Gals,

yea, this flu that's goin' around really is bad. I've got it too and I spent all weekend in bed and I still feel crap.

Jomae, how amazing that your little man is already walking around at 10.5 months! Of course he should be sooooooooooo proud of himself 8) .

Kery, I too hope that this is it, your 3rd time lucky. Yep it will be. You and Dh really deserve the best. Good luck.

As for me... Down Reg scan went well on Friday so I have moved onto stimming. I know this is odd but when they said it OK, I felt relieved but I wasn't really happy… Why? It was the thought of Lucrin and GonalF injection each, every night – AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! – I am ok now though – just dealing with it. My scan is set for this Friday – pls wish me luck.

Cheers, Tiger

Hey Tiger

Everyone I know has had that bloody flu. Somehow I have not managed to catch it, touch wood! Hope you get over it soon.

I know what you mean. You are happy that things are moving along but then you know it's time for the injections!!! Why was your last cycle cancelled if you don't mind me asking? Is your scan on Friday to see how you are stimming? I really hope this cycle does it for you!!!

Hey Kery,

thanks mate. Yea, the scan for Friday is for stims so hopefully I am stimming well right now!! My last cycle was cancelled cos I failed down reg on synaryl (can't spell) - it did bugger all for me!! that's why I went on lucrin this time. It was worth it - it worked. You know with this whole bizzo with IVF and stuffs, it's all ONE STEP AT A TIME isn't it. Patience, patience and more patience.....

Take care & Keep warm ladies!!

Hi Kery
What a shame you have to do a whole cycle i guess they are trying to give you the best chance by doing a full cycle when do you expect to start. We have the house on the market finally and are hoping someone comes along soon to buy it its hard deciding what to sell it for you don't want to put too much on it and have to sit on it for months and months or not be able to sell it and we don't want to put it too cheaply and have it snapped up and end up wondering if we could have got more, oh the joys of selling .

Hey Tiger
U/S tommorrow is that right good luck i hope your bodies done what it was meant to and you've made lots of potential tigers do you have a EC date yet i guess you'll know more tommorrow. your right about Ds he is everywhere i put proper shoes on him for the first time today and boy he was funny as soon as i stood him up he cryed he wouldn't move a muscle even when i tryed to help him he stayed stiff as if i had frozen him i even sat him down thinking it might take the focus of but he wouldn't move like he was scared to and when he did stop crying he'd look at his feet weirdly and then begin crying as if to say oh my good whats eaten my feet . the only way i could get him to move and not cry was to take one shoe . I think because the shoes had good grip he couldn't move aswell there for throwing of his balance but with one shoe he could slowly work up to it i'll put the second one on tommorrow when he is use to the first one . he actually reminded me of a cat with sticky tape on its foot.

So heres a tip for you both when you both get your BFP (which will be this round for both of you PMA) remember to put shoes on you babes before they can walk so they don't have to learn all over again like my poor DS it is funny though. hey tiger do you still have hammy?

Take Care and good luck to you both

Hey Jomae
That is so funny!! but not for your poor DS!! I remember the first time my ds had a hair cut. He had lovely long white blonde hair and we had to cut it off because he kept catching nits. After the cut he took one look in the mirror and screamed his head off. He kept asking me for days to put in back on!!

Yea they seem to think our chances are better if we do a cycle so I guess they know best. I have a ultrasound and a meeting with the doctor on the 21st so I guess I'll find out more then. We also have our session with the councelor on Wednesday. What sort of questions do they ask?

That's great that your house is all ready for a sale. Yea that's a hard one on guessing what it worth. Do you have any idea when you will start your next cycle? or are your going to wait till your house is sold.

Tiger good luck for tomorrow! I hope your body does it's thing

I am fliggin' annoyed right now!! AGHHH!! the nurse told me to call back after 14:00 to confirm my trigger time but she never said they were knocking off at 15:30! I rang them at 15:35 and the reception says "Sorry but all the nurses have gone home so you will have to call back tomorrow morning"!!!! For heaven sakes, I am on IVF rollercoaster, don't they know?!!!!!!! That screws my work plans up big time for next week - AGHHHHH!!!! I guess they thought I can wait cos OPU will be Monday or Tuesday - so trigger is tomorrow or Sunday therefore I can wait another day. V. annoyed  .

~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . calming down, calming down . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~

Hi ladies, so where am I , oh yea,

Kery, good thing that you now have date confirmed to see your doc. Next Wed you will see a councelor? I think you should ask them heaps and heaps of Q's not the other way around :D . Ask and get them to listen to whole heaps of IVF crap you live with - they are trained to do that sort of thing - so why not!

Jomae, your DS sounds like a real star, sooo cute. I will suggest the putting-on-shoes-before-they-walk thing to my sis, yep. Good luck with selling your house. I hope you get a good response and sell it quickly!

So my scan... I think I am doing ok. 8 on right and 3 on left. Sizes ranging from 10mm to 20mm.... with regards to my OPU date, I will let you know when I speak to them tomorrow. Thank you both for your support.

Cheers, Tiger

PS. Massive G'DAY to chickie babes out there too! Come and join us too if you like! Cheers,

Hi Tiger
Just read your post how stressful you think the nurse would realize you hadn't called yet and give you a quick ring before she went home. I guess the main thing is that you weren't meant to do it last night and still have time so lets look on the bright side stimming went well 11 good embies thats great can i ask what does they had you on . I guess mid week next week will be collection time is hubby here in oz yet or not quite.

Any how goodluck goodluck goodluck drink lots of water you don't want to hyperstimm it's awful and eat lots of protein it's meant to help if you do.

Hey kery, I think the councellor trys to sus out whether you fully understand what you are doing I know he asked us about our relationship like how well we get on with each other ands if we argue with each other which is a bit of a weird question the argue bit but ii guess hes trying to see how strong the relationship is we mainly discussed the rights of the donor and ours of course and how we would feel if we did need a donor in the end when we went it was our back up plan and were really thinking we wouldn't need their services. i suggest you think about the questions you want to ask before you go and write them down so you don't need to try and remember them all on the day. oh he also asked about our families and how they will react and he definately talked alot about whether you should tell the child or not and possible outcomes of both decisions

best go Ds came down with the flu thursday and me today not good not good. oh the next morning of the shoe incident i put on ds's shoes both of them and had no trouble what so ever funny hey

chat later JOMAEXXX

Hi girls
Thanks for that. Yea I will write down some questions as they come to me.

Tiger - It can be so frustrating when they don't get back to you. All you want to know is whats going on. Like Jomae said they can't have wanted to to trigger just yet but they could have let you know that! That's great it sounds like you are going to have a good number of eggs to work with.

It is amazing the difference betwen clinics. Our new clinic seems much more organized that our last clinic.

Welcome aboard Mina
Wow 26 eggs!! You have a great chance with 13 fertilized eggs. Try not to worry to much it could be implantation bleeding (when the embie attaches to the lining) that can cause a small amount of bleeding sometimes. When I was pregnant (10 yrs ago) I had spotting at times during the first couple of months. Maybe you could ring your clinic and have a talk to a nurse she maybe able to give you some better advise. How may embies did you transfer? I hope on the 20th you get your BFP!!!
