blasts were a little behind...

Post by adbwifey0804 »

I am 2dp5dt and of course going crazy!

This is my 2nd fresh cycle and on cycle one I had 2 awesome blasts. I got a bfp but lost my baby at 9 weeks. (singleton)

This time around we did 5 dt again but instead of 2 RE said 3. My embryos looked good on day 3 (one was 8 cell and most were 6-7 celled). Well by day 5 we had one that was almost expanded but not quite there and 2 that were halfway expanded.
I am not sure what the quality was as I don't ask but I do know that they were a bit behind. Now granted, they were blasts but considered "early" blasts. What does this mean? Does this lower my chances? TIA!

Fast embryos have higher implantation rates. That's the fact.

But yours are not exactly slow. Just a tad behind the really fast ones.

Some don't expand until day 6 or even day 7. Yours are ahead of those.

Your embryos are implanting just about now, if they are going to. Try to relax.
