Joining this side at last

Hi everyone just to let everyone know I'm 4wks pg and delighted. Scan date is 14th August at 11.15am. So can't wait for that. Really nervous as had a miscarriage 3 months ago at 5wks but felt totally different than now. I kind of knew last time just kept saying to my husband "I can't relax I need to have scan" don't know how to explain it but something just didn't feel right.

hi kate congrats to you and your dh, hope everything works out ok if you dont mind my asking what did you feel when you thought somthing wasnt right with your last one im5.5 weeks first preg and had some brown spotting for a few days which has stooped now doc says i have to wait for my scan on 5th aug to see whats what, cant help worring though, hope you dont mind me asking love diane

Hi Diane - of course I dont' mind you asking, but I'm not really sure I can answer. Not something I can describe. If the spotting has stopped its sounds ok. 2 of my friends both had spotting one just brown and the other had quite a lot of red blood both fine and expecting in October. When I started spot, it was just when I went the toilet for about 3 days and then just went red and into a proper period. It never stopped like yours has or my friends did. Try not to worry too much (easier said than done) I'm worried now thinking something might go wrong but not like last time. Sorry I can't be more descriptive, I suppose you could just call it intuition, a sixth sense or something I don't really know.

Congratulations Kate - Well Done!!!! As you say, you instinctively felt that something was wrong last time and this time you feel much better ........ so go with it!! The wait between getting the +++ result and the first scan seems to take forever. Had our ++ on 11th July and so scan is tomorrow - I'll be so relieved and am just praying now that all is OK. Lots of Love - lots of us new mums-to-be all around the same time (I'm 6 weeks) so it'll be great to compare stuff all the way along - its so exciting!!! Jo. XXXXXXXXXXX
