oh the guilt! I can't take it!
Please do not forsake me I haven't forsaken you guys!
In my defense I did email Jen...... I know, not good enough.

So Walshy you old duffer - whats the news babe??? Don't email Jen post here instead or I won't get to hear your news!!! sigh.

Steph all slim and gorgeous, tell us more about your holiday in the mountains. Which mountains? With who? how long?

My Jemla - end of august and then up the duff! Sorry for neglecting you. I do check in every day but never seem to have time to post - work is mental and I've just been so tired since my holiday - will email too, just to make it up to you

I don't have a lot of news. Had horrible post-holiday blues where I essentially threw hate rays at anyone who crossed my path - KABOOOOOM! Am now over that and have started on my action plan. Booked myself on a drawing course, arranged spanish tuition (in work time...haven't informed my boss yet...) and am considering buying a cat. As for i.v.f..... phew, dunno. Will prob start again oct or nov, fresh cycle. Meanwhile, everyone in London is pregnant, I sh*t you not. Smug fat ladies poncing about looking serene in a "I am growing a life" manner - get out of my way! No I will not give up seat on the tube for you, peaches. I am evil hee hee hee.

Ok duchesses, love like a horse

Hi

Finally the girls are returning to spend time with us Steph----about time to

Remember during my last cycle i was called for Jury service and had to cancel due to ET----well they have sent me another citation for the 20th Aug :x Call me mad but i desperately want to do it (i'm a bit morbid and gory) this time but might have to cancel because of this ET. I think someone up there must be plotting to p**s me off for life

Also my friend in London who is 5 months preg and 39, the one i couldnt bring myself to talk to. Well she called out of the blue tonight so i had to chat. It was fine though and nice to hear from her but she kept quizzing me about my next treatment. But get this, she asked if we were going to think of using a donor and go to somewhere like America or Spain, then she quickly decided Spain--------------she is a little bit psychic-------------spooky or what. I was so surprised that i stuttered we were thinking of looking into clinics abroad but didnt say anything else.

Oh well, off to watch Location Location and then BB for a chill out after studying all day

Love to you all

Hi Girls!!
Whats the latest and greatest??
I have to say our thread was way too low, about to be bumped right off! Will not have it.

Jens- hey sunshine! how goes it? I am sorry, but your cycle seems to be dragging and dragging! I feel like you should be in B and having the wham bam thank you mam by now.. do you feel like this or are glad for the extra room to take deep breaths and talk it out? although the end of August will be here in a blink. have you had anymore talk-me sessions?

Loops- bout time you came back around! I hope the guilt has left you feeling like the dirty girl you are. But, now have to say you just gave us a tease and dissappeared again. What a minx you are. So, drawing course... do you mean like sketching? painting and the like? And a cat.. BLAH! I am strictly a dog person! we have a rotty. I know, I know.. but he is so lovable huggable. well.. less so in his old age. now he is more like grumpy old man. And you didn't give us any details on the holiday.. shere did you go? what did you do? ALSO.... where is your picture?? I gave you a cushiuon of time because it took me so long to get mine out.. but it has been long enough!!

Walshy- another member of the love em and leave em group! give us an update at once or suffer the consequences.. ha. ha.

AS for me... hubby and I went on kayaking adventure.. I use the term adventure lightly. The river was way too low.. had to get out and walk several times. But we atleast had a better time than a couple that we passed who were in a canoe together.. she was doing nothing while he was paddling and yelling at her to pay attention and paddle. Too funny. My friend calls them Divorce Canoes for a good reason. But, we stayed in a Fab-U inn that evening and had a DELICIOUS dinner and an even tastier mojito. The 5 hours of non-stop paddling was well worth it!

Shak-a, shak-a,

Hi

Sorry i have been missing for a few day, been having a tough time and then today at study day all day----------phew my head is bumping.

Steph - Finally i have a buddy to chat to, this thread is getting way to small. Is this the end??????????? Glad you had a fun time, bet you are all toned after that marathon----sounds like to much hard work to me--------and where was poor Faith, hope you didnt leave her in Starbucks with the cupcakes

We did have our couselling and the lady is lovely and the time flew past. I didnt get upset once but i think thats because we were giving her an update of our life so far, the nitty gritty will start next week

 Had some shocking news the day before i went about my old keychild who is like a son to me now. He is 17 and he called to say his girlfriend is pregnant-------BANG----------tears for the rest of the day. I am gutted for us, shocked for him, sad he is losing his childhood and he is upset as his girlfriend has been taking the injection---dont know what it called--and it was an accident. He felt sad as he called me straight away to tell me but then i was in tears and he was upset, i was frustrated for him and selfishly upset as it wasnt me. If i dont get pregnant i dont know how i'm going to deal with that bump growing
God this world is crap eh.
Then i had to go into work and was tearful throughout the shift---------was on with 2 men, haha that kept them away from me, they didnt have a clue how to cope with me

In between all that i have to study but there is some good news, my work so far is great so at least i know i'm doing it right.

Thinking of you all.

AHHHH Jen.....

I can't even imagine (well can actually) how absolutely HORRIBLE that news was to hear. I mean.. what the ffffffff? Here you and hubby are fully prepared to give kiddo best of everything, trying like your life depends on it and blamo.... a 17 year old KID, not prepared, not trying.. in fact preventing!... and they get to have a baby. I know you feel like screaming.. GIVE THE BABY TO ME! I deserve it.. although you never would. I do not understand it, except to say maybe B is going to work like a charm and it is the grand plan that you raise babes at the same time so you can help him out and give great advice. The whole thing is sour grapes. .. which is why you are going to have BFP very ver soon.. you deserve it!

I am glad the talks are going well. so hubby is with you then?

as for Faith and kayaking... she had her first overnight with grammy. went very well and grammy can't wait to do it again.

Hi

Well dont know what i have done to deserve this but yes Steph your right it was horrible news. Am going to meet J today and have a chat over lunch about his news---------probably depress me more.

Yep went to counselling with DH, she noted how close we are. I am just so thankful this ivf crap has not pushed us apart like some.
The counselling was good, we had a chat about our families and it made me realise how there are some negative people around me and causing me more stress with their moaning :roll:when actually they dont realise how lucky they are to have such an easy life.

A few people at work have been noticing i am down at the moment but they are now adding to my stress as they are asking what our plans are and if we're doing any more cycles------i'm getting great at changing the subject----but i just feel like i am lying to them. Anyway i have to think of myself, as selfish as it sounds.

Then i had another girl at work on the phone last night crying and saying how stress she is with her uni work and she is skint-------IS THAT ALL----i wanted to shout, lucky you---but the usual happen, i sat and listened patiently to all her probs and whinging. Then guess what, she said she had noticed i have been GRUMPY lately  she knows what we are going through so i reminded her and pointed out that i'm not grumpy but unhappy-------bloody cheek after her hour of moaning :x We have ivf probs and work and families and i have to study like her

So where is everyone else?

Only 4 more pill to go then af then patches THEN we will really have things happen
GOD PLEASE LET ME JUST HAVE THIS ONE BFP :?

Hi

Wow what a weekend so far an its not over yet.
So, yesterday i had to call the clinic as they sent me an email saying i had to increase my medi to 2 pills a day but i've only got 3 left :?: Anyway i eventually got someone but he didnt have a clue what to do. I eventually made the decision and have stuck to my 1 tablet a day until i finish them on Monday.
Anyway the saga continues. The Dr was meant to call us this morning to confirm what we should do----yep you guessed, no call. I had to call the clinic back and after a couple of calls they confirmed i must take 1 tablet only.
However i then started af today, so i had to call the emergency line. We couldnt get through for ages and when we did they said they would get a Dr to call me in the next hour------nobody has called since :x
I now feel pissed off with the clinic as they must know we are worried plus i'm concerned about my af arriving as its not meant to be here until 2-4 days after i finish my pill on the 3rd.
Does this mean the ed will not be at the same stage as me now??????????? The clinic better not pospone me for another month. The guy i spoke to on the phone sounded surprised i have taken 2 boxes of pill and not just one----maybe this was so the ed could catch up with me.

Oh, i feel so mad with them and a little scared that we have the worst bit coming up and they cant even get someone to call you when you ring the emergency line----hope i dont have a worse emergency
I feel, crap, confused, worried and exhausted now, i've had enough of this ivf crap. I just hope they answer my email as soon as possible.
Just when i was beginning to feel a bit better this happens

Hope you all having a better wekend than me

 Hi

Yep a smile, dont know how i managed it especially with this crap weather

Well after our major drama this weekend, we are now fine. Big B called again twice today and its all sorted, thank god. The Doc said i had breakthrough bleeding and i should take my last tablet tomorrow then i will bleed again in about 2-4 days then start the patches.
We are due to have a scan in the next 10 days then ET should be anything from the 20th-28th, so they think, but as you know with this game, it can change in a second

Anyway everything seems to be fine and they told me today that the ed is fine and is at the same stage as me, which is reassuring. Seems strange to think there is someone over in Big B who is doing this for us, she must be wondering about us to eh :?:

The clinic apologised for not replying quickly but reassured us this is due to Dr being busy at the weekend. Anyway they are forgiven as they are always so polite.

Anyway hope you are all ok.
I'm starting to feel lonely around here again

Bit nervous because it seems that everyone knows each other on this thread already but I hope you don't mind a newbie.

I am starting my first round of treatment end Sept/beg October and just wanted to wish everyone else lots of luck.

Hi guys! I know, I know, sorry about absence.
To make it up to you I sent you emails..... forgive me!

Jemla - been sneaking a look at your progress on egghead thread, man its all goig so quickly now after seeming to take ages - I can't wait. So if you reckon ET 20th then results start of sept? I need to know before I go on holiday
Steph - whats the news hun??

geordie girl - hello and welcome to ivf world. This is an old thread - started in october 2005 with only a few left. There is another sept/oct thread that just started for ladies having treatment this year. I'll see you on there as I'll be having my 5th (OMG) go about then. Good luck

Yes, october is my thinking. First need to get another HSG, blood tests (Karyotyping etc after the m/c), get my anger levels under control. Will go to the same clinic - lets face it they got me preg twice its just me that f's it up. I'll have a fresh cycle this time - its been a while so I wonder how I'll respond this time - am scared that I've developed ovarian failure after the 2 years and 2 ops since last fresh. Its all in the game as they say in West Baltimore. I guess.

Anyways - dib dib dib will promise to post more and be better octo-pal.

Take it easy, cheeseys

 Well, well look who has popped in----Loops you are well in trouble for abandoning me in my time of stress. Commence the grovelling now

Glad your back, hope you dont stay away to long, i need my Octo pals for support in the 2ww------which is bloody soon---------again

Had a bit of a drama as the hotel we went to last time is booked but as we have a fab map from last visit to Big B with all the hotels on it, we have found a better one and its right on the clinic doorstep
going for my scan on Wednesday and will email the info.

Brilliant news about your next cycle, i'm sure you will get to the end of this ivf crap soon.
