Tanyaaaaaaaaaaaaah! I clicked on your blog link in the address bar by accident (everything happens for a reason) and I saw your picture! Soooo strange to put a face on the nick! You look amazing, you silly! That belly is absolutely FAB! Wow, twins really make a difference! (plus the fact you're a mom already).
Take care sweetie! Was great seeing you!

You are so right about each pregnancy being so different. It is strange you would expect to find the same thing each time around wouldnt you?
Nothing going on with me for the week I am just waiting until next Friday for my u/s of the babies!!! I can find them well with the doppler these days. Not too hard finding both of them...I like that.

Hello All---Rickiees I'm so sorry you and DH have to go through this...GL in the next few days!
My2Lnt- thanks for the update looking forward to Friday.
TansRN- sounds like the scrapbooking was fun.
We had a tuff weekend. After "special time" on Saturday AM I began bleeding, nothing big just some....at about 12 passed some clots (sorry TMI) called the DR and they said normal but if it doesn't stop come in on Monday, yesterday. I was horizontal until I went to DR yesterday at 1pm, normal HB (159. and they did a US, baby was BIG and beautiful and wouldn't stop moving, DR had a hard time getting a pic. Placenta was fine also. They said blood just from sex...weird, we thought a little was normal not the heavy we had. Anyway, no exercise 1 week walking OK and no sex for a while. the baby kept moving it's arms and was just annoyed in all the fuss and being disturbed. Tired but a ton less scared...cried all weekend while DH held my hand and drank beer...what a man!
8-) ME 37/ DH 34 TTC 8 yearsIUI 2, IVF 2, M/C 9w 1/07 BFP while waiting to start July 07 cycle
CONGRATS Malkina! What a blessing!
I had to have an emegency Animio reduction (NOT FUN let me tell you) last night. My twins TTTS has gotten much worse, causing a lot of heart and bladder issues for both twins. Dr. said with out it he didnt think they would survive a week:( They are pretty sick and if they dont get better in 10 days, we have to reduce them. The risks of major brain deffects is high as well as handicaps if they dont correct themselves ASAP.
I was SO uncomfortable from all the excess amniotic fluid and feel so much better now that they drained it a bit.
However, my single peanut is doing great. I hope all this tugging and poking doesnt effect it too much. It is all in God's hands now.
Noodle at least you got some in for now:) Hopefully that will tide him over for a little while.

oooohhh rikirees, I am sooo sorry you had to do that. You are definitely having a rough time. I pray that your precious little beanie and you have wonderful, healthy days ahead.
Everything is going great for me. I'm 16 weeks and had an appt today with my regular and my maternal fetal specialist and everything went great. I had a very detail ultrasound also, the baby is measuring 15w6d and weighs 5 oz. She couldn't tell the sex yet but she did say she didn't see any male organs. I would love to have a son but as long as he/she is healthy I'm happy. I go back to both Dr.s in 4 weeks.
Malinka, that's wonderful news. You get to enjoy the best of both worlds shopping and decorating.
Noodle, what a scary moment. I'm glad everything was fine.
Rikirees I am so sorry hon, you have to go thru a lot lately , I hope everything will work out for the best, you seem to be in a pretty good care and doctors follow you very closely, so everything will be fine. Stay strong please, I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Malinka

TansRn,
I am 17 weeks.
They actually start telling around week 18, but I was lucky to have a really nice ultrasound tech, she said I will look but I won't be guessing:) Turns out it was pretty obvious.

Tanya - Best wishes on Friday... Hope the babies smile real pretty for you.
Rikirees - I hope everything works out for you.... I'm so sorry that you had to go thru all this... It must be so emotionally exhausting. Praying that things start to look up for you.
Noodle - How you doing? Hope things are well.
We went for our next sono today and yet again my cervix has got shorter... DAmn.... but thank god not by that much!! It is now 3.1 The Dr today said that she was still not real worried she said not until it got to 2.0 I thought that it was 2.5 OH well I hope we don't ever get that close. But funny thing was Lil Bit decided that "he" was gonna show his butt..He would not stay still I did get a very cute pic tho.... It looked llike he was praying. Sono tech said that it appeared that he was on his knees and really looked like he was praying I will post the link.
Bad news is that my NT bloodwork came back that chances for downs is 1 in 81 not good for my age I'm only 33. So amino here we come Aug 14th. I don't believe the blood test at all I've known a handful of people that all were told thier baby had downs from bloodwork and all amino tests were clear. So Oh well... Bright side I'll know the sex for sure!!!! Crossing fingers for a boy ha ha. OOPpss almost forgot the link ... Man pregnant brain at work ....
hey Steph, just saw your photobucket pic. So cute and yes, he looks like he's praying. About your blood results, don't be too concerned. I have 2 friends that their risk for downs was VERY high and they had healthly babies. I opted against the quad screen just for this very reason. I'm the type that if I got bad results, I would worry into a m/c. I for sure will not have a CVS or amnio done due to the m/c risks, but that's just me. Everyone is different. I just know this is my last go at having a baby and I don't want to increase any risks that aren't necessary. I'm sure all is well with your littleone.
rikirees - hope you are doing well. praying for you...

You are right your lil bit does look like he is praying...that is sooo cute. I am sorry to hear about the results of your test...I wish you luck with whatever you decide to do...ie amnio, etc.
Jovigal
I am with you...I opted not to have the test done. I have not had it with any of my kids for this reason as well. I have had several friends and they got positive results and the baby was fine. I have also decided against any kind of CVS or amnio as well. I would worry about m/c WAY too much. I have decided to take it in stride. That is my personal opinion....Anyone who is having it done...great if that is your choice I say to go for it. Rock on...I just dont want any of that kind of thing.
As for me just waiting for my u/s on Friday....We leave for our RV trip on the 17th. I am really excited about it. Should be a lot of fun.
