Hello, Angela!!!

Physically, I am much better. All the bloating is gone. I just have the back pains. But, the symptoms I always have before my period have appeared and I am very, very frustrated. I have many hot flashes and from time to time I have mild period pains!! Yesterday, I was very sad...I didn't get up from bed all day and I didn't want to talk to anyone. My poor husband did all the housework and I thingk he is mad at me for being in such a state....I try really hard to get used to the idea of the negative...

Hi Alex! I know exactly what you mean. I test this friday and I am analyzing every twinge and pain. I cramped on my left ovary sat. something awful, then after that , nothing!! I keep expecting and hoping i will wake up nauseated or lots of pain and soreness in my boobs, but nothing!! I broke out with a pimple on my face last night which is what usually happens before AF. I kinda got crampy this morning and i was afraid to go to the bathroom. Luckily, no AF!! I just want this week to hurry by. I'm going to try and stay away from hpt, how about you?

Dear Alex and Traci,

Try and remain calm! All those symptoms are perfectly normal and the cramping / period pains are also a side effect of the progesterone. You can honestly not tell whether it has worked until the actual test.

I thought about hpt but Ive decided against them because the hcg shots could falsify the result.

All the best, my advice (which I found has helped me this time) is to be calm and try and carry on your life as normal....

Hello,
I am officially on the 2 ww. I had an FET yesterday. We transfered two embies, Both Compacting, excellent quality. I am worried because my uterine lining was very thick, from the estradiol, but the DR said I was fine. We did assisted hatching as well!

I am also in the fingernail chewing 2ww. We had transfer on July 25 and are waiting for test on Aug 8. Is anyone else going insane during this time?

Hi Amylou, my result is on August 8 aswell, so we can chew fingernails together! Was your transfer fresh or frozen? Is this your first time? Look forward to cycling with you...

Hello. Can I join this 2ww group? I am a bit late to come on line-have been going crazy on my own. I had a 5D FET on 24 July and my blood test is on 4th Aug. Yesterday I started to bleed. It seemed too late for an implantation bleed. I rang the clinic today and they gave no information either way. Seems to have settled now and no more bleeding tonight. Yesterday was a crazy day- had a huge meltdown at work. Went to the acupuncturist and she said my heart beat was racing and to try and stay calm!!! How does that happen? Seem to have picked up a flu too. Boy it gave me three days of aches in shoulder and ribcage-was sure it was an ectopic pregnancy- but too early for these symptoms the doctor says. Everything feels worse with these synthetic drugs on board. Even acupuncture needles which usually don't worry me at all normally, have me completely on edge. I don't remember being this crazy last time-but then I don't remember much. Great to read your messages and carry hope for us all.

Hi Angela37...We had a fresh transfer. Am a little crazy right now...Can't sleep at night b/c my mind is going 90 to nothing, although at work I am so sleepy. Are you on progesterone? I take 1 cc a day in hip and 2 estrogen patches changing every 3 days. I am so ready to know...My lower back is killing me and sore (.) (.). But, all of these symptoms can be related to the meds. I feel like God is teaching me patience through all of this. I am a control freak and this is something I have no control over. Best of luck to all...would love to hear other sysmptoms people are experiencing.

Hello everyone,

I am also testing on August 3rd... I don't know what I am going to do Friday - celebrate or take the day off to sulk!!
We had ICSI 7/21 and 2 embies transferred on 7/24. We didn't have any to freeze. This was my first IVF - we tried one IVF cycle in Feb, but I only had one follicle - hence we rolled it over into an IUI- didn't work.
This time with max stims I had 6 follicles, with 2 good quality embies.

The first week of the 2ww went by much faster- we had lots going on this past weekend too, but this week has been verrry slow!

By the way, have you ladies told anyone? We have not, and it has kept me more calm without the questioning; but without an outlet to share the anxiety ...

I have had almost no symptoms other than feeling huge around the abdomen, needing to pee often at night and exaggerated PMS symptoms.

Qestion for Traci/twc:

hey you said you get a pimple before your AF...even I do get them in every cycle...I beleive that pimple does tell you soemthing about yr body but all my hormone tests are normal...what about you have u ever looked into that problem...I know at this point pimple is the last thing to think about..but I was just curious...

Well this is just to wish everyone testing tomorrow good luck, that will be Alex, Traci and Observer, I think. How are you all? Havent heard from you for a few days. I guess that the butterflies in your stomach must be kicking in now...

Amy - yes. I am on progesterone too.

Has anyone been tempted into doing a pregnancy test yet? I know its not a good idea but I am thinking of doing one. The problem is that my period should be due on Sunday, but my test is not til Wednesday, so I will be gutted if I start bleeding before then. But guess will be just as gutted if I get a negative, which could be wrong, or even worse, I get a positive, and then its wrong!

Oh the joys of the two week wait...

Observer - I have told a few people, but only close friends and family. To be honest I did last time, and I was glad of the support. If I get a positive result, I dont think I will tell that many people though, in case anything goes wrong.

Hope you havent had any more bleeding. Do you know if implantation bleeding generally happens, because I havent had any bleeding, so I'm thinking that is probably a bad sign. But there again, I had a few drops last time round and I was negative, so who knows?

I think that a racing heart is generally to do with hormones and nerves, I get that too. By the way, congrats on your little girl. There is hope for us!
