New to board and starting IVF next month

Hello everyone! I am starting IVF next month. Just waiting for AF and then I can call my Doctor. I got my shipment of all my medicines today from my ins. mail order RX company. WOW - what a ton of medicines. I was so nervous about it once I saw this!!!!!!!! I look forward to making many friends on this board.

hi lacy and welcome to this board!!!

why dont you come and join one of the threads in the general forum?? there is a july-august thread and also an august-sept thread. you may want to read a couple of posts from each to see which suits you better. that way you can talk to women cycling at the same time as you and ask questions, share concerns and laughs, etc.

If you ever have any questions just go ahead and ask....it's almost guaranteed that someone has gone through the same thing and can help.

I had my first transfer today. (Sorry I dont really know the proper abbrevaited lingo) and this is my first IVF cycle. Well 2nd the first was cancelled due to not ennough mature follicles. My body has reacted much better to the stims given for an IUI cycle then IVF. I only had 3 mature follicles and 1 was definately borderline. I forced the doc to do the retrieval and 2 fertilized, 1 had abnormalities and 1 he told me was a grade A no fragments perfect split. Where are u in your cycle. Reading these boards has helped me so i finally decided to join hoping to help and get help with and from women who are cycling around the same time.

DONT LET ALL THE MEDS SCARE U. I STARTED CRYING WHEN I GOT MY FIRST SHIPMENT. ONCE U ORGANIZE IT , YOU WONT FEEL SO OVERWHELMED. I swear they dont need so many HUGE boxes for such small vials

Hey Everyone,
I have been here for sometime now, reading through some threads especially "Do and Don'ts" for obvious reasons, just thought of joining in for some useful and lighthearted conversations.

I have strated with Desogestral & Ethinylestradiol tablets today...so started on with yet another journey. My retrieval will be somewhere 15 of next month...just keeping my fingers crossed.

I am on with my 3rd cycle of ICSI...and my stock of patience and faith is wearing away...pl help me in filling it up again.
