Hi Nicky,

Great to hear from you. I'm going down to Aberdeen a week Saturday (9th). I'll be living in the 'Shetland Rooms', This is self-catering accommodation above the Maternity unit I believe, so I'll be sitting around waiting for the great event!!

Unless of course something happens before then......I wish!!!

How are you, DH and the twins getting on? How old are they now?

I was just going to go down myself, but DH has insisted on 'settling me in' and then he'll go back up after the weekend and then hopefully when things start to happen I'll give him a ring and hopefully he'll get down in time!!!

Keep in touch

Scorry

Scorry,

Aggghhhh, can't believe it is so close!!! When we were in neo-natal there were a few mums up at the Shetland Rooms, I think it is actually seperate from the actual building, just up the hill but a lot quieter!!!

My two are now 14 months (almost 15)....real terms now 1 year and destroying the house. Both are crawling and starting to walk around the furniture...and they both seem to develop a new trick nearly every week. It seems ages ago that they were just tiny newborns but on the other hand it seems to go so quickly...if that makes sense!!

We are due to go up to the neo-natal unit for a visit soon, as the nurses love to see their old patients when they reach little milestones like their birthdays etc and we love showing them off, so if you felt up to a visit I could meet you in the coffee shop at the matty unit. But don't worry if you can't as I totally understand it is a huge effort to get around and you need all the rest you can get. Let me know anyway. Whatever, I will be keeping everything crossed for you...don't you cross your legs though!!

And at least you won't have to panic so much about bad weather delaying the flights down when you have to call dh!!! We have a load of folk at work who are constantly travelling back and forth to Sullom Voe and have even been up there myself a few times and much prefer travelling this time of year!!!

Take Care and good luck
Nicky
