Helloo

Back again quickly to mention that Robbo's neighbour has sunk to new lows. What is wrong with that woman. I think that her house does need the TP treatment. Amy will drive. Robbo, you will have the stores of TP which we will collect (as you conveniently live next door). the Sisterhood will then wreak havoc on the place. I think we may need to add some speical touches, ideas anyone???

Sass nice work on fronting that girl from school. At my school I called that crowd the Beautiful People. We had a disproportionate number of models and beauty queens at my school. I was quite cowed by them. At my 10 year school reunion I found that the Beautiful People had all married each other and worked at service stations. They generally looked discontented which had caused them to age horribly. I felt GOOOD about that. I hope you told that girl about ALL of your vactions although I have to give her some kudos about not asking the dreaded children question....

Now onto me... blood results are in, and am not diabetic, wooo hooo, celebrated with two bars of chocolate! mmmm. Bad news is I am badly anemic and may need iron injecitons. Bloody hell. Now just have to wait to here if my thyroid has clapped out. Also good news on the MIL front. Alfter a rough couple of weeks with MIL being repeatedly admitted to hospital, it looks like her cancer is shrinking! YAY YAY. That will hopefully give her a boost to see out the second half of her chemo.

Hope all of you are well!!

Don't work too hard Angie and Meg, that is a royal decree.

Fee

Good Morning ladies...

Good word on MIL Fee. That is amazing. Remission couldn't come at a more perfect time. Nogs needs her up and running.

Thank you also for the supportive Dr Google answers. I am just not so convinced as the Bbs are no longer sore and the spotting is more frequent and darker - although not red... just darker. I just wanted to get through the wait with no spotting and get to test date feeling like there was a chance and now I am not feeling so optimistic. Thinking I will call the clinic this morning and see if there is anything we can do or can I at least take the test on Thursday or something to end my suffering. Should be in my chart. I make this call every time and I always convince them to let me take it earlier. I am after all the AG and can be quite convincing at times.

Angie - You are my hero. You must look for the Flight of the Conchords on DVD as they are so funny. Mostly the songs. There are a few that just make me want to wet my pants... search for them on YOU TUBE. I highly recommend "Business Time" and "Part Time Model" and "If your into it". The show basically goes along and then they break into these "video" montages with their music. It is hilarious. My husband sang/hummed the "If your into it..." song through his entire half ironman triathlon the other weekend to pass the time and then sang, "It's business time" to me during the transfer. Romantic.

Where is everyone else?
It is now officially Monday here in the states so I am expecting some more consults here asap.

Robbo - hit Costco and get the TP. We could also stick disposable diapers with chili in them around her house. Just an idea. I am angry right now so we should strike while I am saucy. That is when I will have my most evil and best ideas.

Sass - How was my DS this weekend? You did pick him up at the airport, right?

Amy: oh dear. This is why it is the "terrible" 2ww. Can't say I have any assvice. I have never had any spotting before my HCG, but then again, all were neg. And by the way... who said #3 is the charm... 'cuz my body didn't get the memo:). Now, as for your ds. He made it off the plane... but I was busy at the time, so I allowed the pimps, loan sharks and strippers babysit him for the first day. I hear he got really good at black jack and video poker. Hope you don't mind:). No pig ranches around here, but I put him to work preparing my garden, so he got sufficiently caked in dirt. He spent yesterday in our pool and from all reports had a fab time. I will send him back tonight after work (the pimps, strippers and loan sharks have him down on the strip today :lol: )

Robbo: Wow. Neighbor has reached new depths. I'm thinking we should hide diapers filled with the brown, sticky goodies that show up in the diapers of my nieces. I can have SIL collect it for a couple days in anticipation of our mission.

Angie: Ok, I finished that Conquering Inferility book and it was fantastic! I wish I had read it earlier. Thanks for telling me about it.

Fee: glad to hear you aren't diabetic... meaning you can eat sweets with abandon (not that you haven't been doing so for the last 7 months :lol: ). Especially glad to hear MIL is doing better. What a load off your shoulders that must be.

The IndyCar race was c.r.a.z.y yesterday. Check out this video!!!! http://www.indycar.com/multimedia/video ... .php?v=738

It is a compilation of clips of the crash-- and some of the best are at the end. The car that goes airborne is D.ario F.ranchitti (husband of A.shley J.udd). I nearly sh*t my pants when I was watching it live. I LOVE open wheel racing b/c they race so fast (they were going 216 mph when this crash happened), and they have to be fab drivers b/c any little mistake can be devastating (as you can see in the video). Just so you don't worry.... all the drivers walked away without a problem. Even the guy who D.ario landed on... these are OPEN COCKPIT CARS, people!

I don't know why I keep doing this to myself! And we pay dearly for it. The spotting is officially red so I am losing any sense of PMA I may have had left. I just wish I could at least get to Friday to be blown to pieces instead of only a few days after the transfer.

I need to TP someone soon... much aggression is building.

Hey girls- sorry I have been MIA I really don't have an excuse except I have no life and had nothing to post. But I have been reading!

Amy- I'm sorry you are spotting. I don't know much about it, i never spotted, just had horrible cramps the second week and was convinced it was over both times and the second time turned out good. Hopefully it doesn't mean anything but that your little one is getting nice and stuck in there.

Robbo- really? You just saw Grease? And you have never seen 16 candles?? GO GET IT!! And I am at a loss for words as to what to say about your neighbor. What nerve!! I agree we should TP her right away. I need to try it again b/c the first time (and last time) I did it in high school I got caught. I would like a redo on that one. It was not a shining moment in my history!

Fee- so glad that MIL is doing well! What a relief! And you don't have diabetes- another big relief! Things are looking good. Do you have a name picked out for noggin yet?

Sassy- sounds like you did a great job with Amy's son this weekend. How many kids get to hang out with the pimps, strippers, and loan sharks at his age? So lucky! I will put you on my babysitter list!

Ok- hi to everyone else, I must run the washer is marching across the laundry room floor as usual. I think we need a new one...
Jenn

Amy: I am gutted that this is a rotten 2ww for you. I am picking up your PMA for you as you lose it. It will be here whenever you need it.

Jenn: nice to read you again. Hope you managed to corral that washer...

Aussies: I need some aussie-advice. Dh has decided he wants to tour Australia (oh... twist my arm :lol: ) and possibly Tasmania. I told him BEFORE I get preg (since it WILL be happening :wink: ) would be best. So we are starting to look into the beginning of November. I haven't looked into it too much.... we know about Sydney, and we will probably go diving at the Great Barrier Reef... oooo, and there is that Ayers Rock. Anyway... suggestions on Must-See things or great experiences would be appreciated.

Great Idea Sass. I will come with you. I think I am in need of a vacation right about now. Australia in November would be beautiful. Let me know if you need a baggage handler. I am an excellent traveler. Never complain. Really easy going.
The boy said he had a great time this past weekend. He is going to wow the kids in First Grade with the great party tricks he learned.

As for me, no more red spotting. Just light brown (I know TMI). I am calmed, but still extremely cautious in believing anything positive at this point.

Where are the other ladies?? Mego? Vicky? Mel?

Well I'm here, maintaining the nighttime Amy vigil. Thank bloody goodness that the flow has slowed so to speak. Who needs a heart attack every time you go to the damned toilet. Dammit I think you need to bring your test forward, I don't think I can take this any more. In the mean time lets get the car started and go hit Robbo's neighbours house.

Jenn it is high time you had a successful TP incident, we can't let your TP career end on such a dismal note. Sass gather up those nappies, we're gonna need them in abundance.

Sass about your holiday, I think you are looking at a good time to go, just before the summer heat hits. I have never been to Tassie but I hear it is beautiful so definatley go there. Haven't been to Queensland either but what the heck I think a bit of a snorkel on the Barrier Reef is in order. Sydney and Melbourne are good places to visit, much more exciting than end of the Earth Perth. I think you should get into the outback as well, so get up the Ayers Rock and also maybe the Northern Territory. I would steer clear of South Australia.

And Sass, I agree with Jenn your babysitting efforts are to be commended. Nogs will be packing his bags to spend some quality time with Aunt Sassy and her special friends.

Jenn, no names for Noggin as yet, I really am struggling on that one.

Thanks for all your good wishes vis a vis MIL, I am really hoping the treatment calms the cancer down, apparently it is unlikely to be cured but can have lenghty remissions which is what I want!

Well I'm off to put my feet up on my desk. Ever since finding out about my anemia I've been feeling lethargic. Maybe it's time for a sickie if I'm feeling crook. (Two Aussieisms in one sentence for ya)

Amy - I feel for you. Spotting can be BFP or BFN. No spotting can BFN or BFP. Hang on in there - it's crazy I know.

Sassy - really glad you liked the book . My copy is currently hidden in my bedside cupboard as we had to remove all signs of infertility when the rellies came to stay - the paperwork from the clinic is all safely locked in the filing cabinet.

Sassy - Australia in Nov - yay - get yourselves here. Obviously I am biased - Melbourne is fantastic - great cafes, great food, wine, arts, shops and also easy to get out of the city and go walking/exploring. Great national parks either side of the city - 2 or 3 hours drive. Wilsons Prom is great - you can carry your tent and hike into the bush - you may even see a wombat and definitely a few roos.

Fee's neck of the woods in WA is also great too.
If you come to Melb I would love to meet you but you probably won't want to meet me as by November I will be in IVF hell again ........aaaaggh.

OK busy Angie must go again - I swoop in , swoop out I know - sorry the rest of you ladies. Am thinking of you all, I promise.

Oooh... I came up with another fun game. Well this is work for some, but it will entertain us. Fee and Angie (and anyone else who knows the Aussie vernacular) lets start compiling a list of Aussism's for Sass and Mr Sass to use while on vacation. Well maybe not use, but they will be in the know when the natives start speaking in "tongues". I know you girls are busy, but it would help me from going to the bathroom every 20 minutes. I did have a bit more red, just a tiny bit, but enough to make me cry for the millionth time today.

Thanks for maintaining the nighttime vigil girls! I appreciate it.

Damned good game Amy, I would be pleased to assist with preventing you from overusing the toilet.

So let's start a list. And I insist that Mr and Mrs Sassy use each and every one of the words in the first two days that they are in Oz. I think we need to recap on some previously highlighted words and add a few new words.

- Servo (gas station);
- Garbo (garbage collector)
- Ambo (ambulance driver);
- Salvo (Salvation Army Officer);
- Derro (Homeless person, or otherwise used to describe person who does not live according to "normal standards")
- Cobber (Male Person - old Aussieism not much used);
- Sheila (Female person - old Aussieism not much used);
- Digger (Australian Soldier);
- Bludger (someone who doesn't want to work for a living or who sponges off other people);
- Dole Bludger (person who deliberately doesn't work and is paid government benefits);
- I'm feeling crook (I'm feeling sick);
- Chucking a sickie (taking a day off work under pretence of being ill);
- Cocky (Farmer);
- Sparky (Electrician);
- Chook (Chicken)

How's that for a start?

Fee

Oops I forgot an important one, "Dunny" = toilet. Mr and Mrs S will need to use that one.

Y'all are the greatest. TPing....hmmmm....did it once when I was in Jr. High. Did it to my back door neighbor then went and cleaned it up the next morning as they were out of town and I felt bad. I think we will definately have to make plans to head over to my dear sweet :twisted: neighbors house. However, I am thinking that we will not TP her. Instead, she is getting a HUGE pool put in her back yard. Let's wait until it is finished, and filled with water. Then we can either add jello to the water (oh, how mean is that :wink: ), or we could just throw lots of TP in it.
So, I need to rent 16 candles...will put that on my list of things to do this weekend. Will have to report back on Monday what I thought.

Amy, Amy, Amy- PMA, PMA, PMA. While spotting can be unnerving, it's not sounding like AF stuff. You only have 3 more days until you test. Just keep rubbing your belly and telling your little guys to stick. I am still pretty sure you are pregnant because I have decided to live my life through your pregnancy.

Jen- Those darn walking washers. Might have to tie it down and give it a good talking to. How are you feeling these days?

Sassy- So, you are headed to Austrilia. I would love to join you. I too am an easy traveler....never complain....eat very little, and I don't snore.

Fee- What wonderful news about MIL. It's always a blessing to get such wonderful news.
I am also glad to hear that you are not diabetic. Anemic though? Did this just develop with the pregnancy?
I have always been anemic, was even on medicine at 4 years of age. After several years the doctors just decided I would always be anemic and the medicine was no longer doing me any good. It doesn't bother me until AF arrives, then I can barely keep my eyes open.
NO NAMES YET? We may have to work on that one.

Alright, DD wants breakfast, and is digging into a box of crackers since mommy has not run to make her breakfast yet.

Girls - more bad potty experiences this morning. I have NO hope left. It is only a matter of time before the flood gates of progesterone open up and leave me in a pool of tears. Sorry Robbo - you should pick someone like Jenn or Meg or Fee to live through until Sassy and Angie get knocked up. Going to go and cry for a bit.
