Testing tomorrow 8. Aug. Very faint line on hpt

Post by Angela37firsttimeivf »

Here is difficult one. My test date is tomorrow (14 days from et with a fet) and I chanced a hpt today. It showed a very faint line. Could this be wrong or just too early? My last hcg shot was last Monday. I have had no spotting, feeling slightly queasy, but I had AF like pains yesterday. Should I be tentatively happy, or sceptical?

I'm voting for the congratulations as well. Your trigger shot would be gone by now. Keep smiling because I think you have a good reason! :D
Keep us posted and I hope it's a BFP!!!!!

Take care~

Thank you so much for all your positive thoughts and good wishes. Am very nervous about tomorrow. Have been having a lot of hot flushes and strange twinges - is that normal?

Well, I guess hpts are a load of rubbish. I went for my beta today, but I dont even need to hear the answer later on. I started having strong AF pains about two hours ago, and guess what, AF has appeared! The worst thing is, I'm convinced that I had one of those really early miscarriages, probably caused by me popping to the gym on the way home, for a last workout. Just feel as if its never going to work, and is there any point carrying on, blah, blah, blah, you know the rest.... :( :( :(

oh angela, i'm so so sorry!!!! nothing can make you feel better now but you know where we are if you need us.

given you had a positive HPT yesterday it does sound like you had an early m/c rather than a BFN but who knows.

big hugs

Angela - please don't blame yourself. It is hard enough to get the BFN, but you don't need any guilt. It very well could have been a chemical pregnancy that was naturally not working out. I am sorry for your loss.

I wish you all the best in your future plans,
amy
