Noodle, just peeking in from Dec babies to say I also had some bleeding a couple of weeks ago, I was 16 wks at the time. Not too much but utterly terrifying all the same. They think mine was due to a low lying placenta, not quite touching the cervix but almost, which they think will shift up as the baby grows. I don't know about you but it set me back a bit in terms of confidence, I'd just been starting to think this might actually happen and stopped expecting to see blood every time I went to the loo, and then I did. Anyway, it looks as though for both of us it was 'just one of those things, keeping fingers crossed we don't see any more. I've been told not to exercise and back on a nooky ban until after the 21wk scan (as placenta is low) - at this rate am going to have forgotten how anyway! spent the first 12 wks on a bann due to previous mc and early bleed and m/c of second twin at 8wks - poor dh!

Good luck, I'm sure all will be well - seems the little bean was completely unaffected!

hi ladies,

haven't written in awhile, but i'm keeping up to date with everyone.

rikirees - anxious to hear how you are doing.

noodle - we are not having sex after your experience either. my husband is like who is this noodle and let me talk to her? sorry for your scare and glad that everything is ok.

we have our ultrasound that detects physical deformaties on monday and we can find out the sex then, but we are leaning towards not. all else is going well. totally lacking symptoms, but my belly is huge.

Hi ladies:
I just laugh at all the things this pregnancy is throwing my way. I got an infection in my uterus from the amnio reduction last week. It was the most pain I have ever felt in my life. I was having contractions and had to be hospitalized for a few days to clear the infection. Doing much better now though. We had the amnio reduction on Thurs and on Monday when I got the pains we had an utrasound and the tech didnt think the amnio reduction helped as the twins stil had fluid issues and bladder issues.
I dont want to scare you My2Lnt. I guess an infection after an amnio is rare but make sure to talk to your doc about it, but I totally understand why you dont want to have it done TransR and Jovigal!
Unfortunely, I am ready to reduce the twins (since they are so sick so early). I worry so much about how all this effects the singleton. DH and I are not in agreement. He wants to try another amnio reduction but after all the pain I was in this week, I don't want to risk more infections! I just feel like such a bad person. I try to tell him that we are so young and we have plenty of time to try again for more babies and one healthy baby is a miracle. We also have 6 frosties left from the last cycle.
Wannabe: Good luck on Monday. It is so cool to see all aspects of the baby. The DH will have to find some other ways to get his groove on
Noodle: I hope you are doing ok after your scare. Not sure if my Dr's will ever say its ok to have sex during this pregnancy :(

Sorry I have been out of the loop....damn work! Any how all is well here. No more blood, yeah...DH and I tried again, he said DR said to only stop for a week...funny I didn't remember him saying that, anyway DH took it "easy" and all went well, no bleeding at all. I'm sorry if TMI just wanted to ensure no one was obstaining because of me. Our 1st trimester scan was on Friday and went very well. The fold only measured 1.67 (3.0 is the cut off) so we were very relieved to say the least, we also sat through an hour of genetic testing....scaaaarrryyyyy! I don't advise it unless your very worried about something in particular, they ended up taking 5 vials of blood for me and are pretty much testing for every genetic disorder known to man. We recieved a beautiful 3D scan a little to clear for comfort, baby like it's hands in it's mouth. DH read for the first time to baby last night, a cut book called "Guess how much I love you"....I don't mind saying I cried.

Rikirees- I cannot imagine what you're going through, hang in there and please vent as much as possible.
Wannabeone- please give DH another shot...make him take it easy though...no "wham bam thank you mam"
Tams-thanks for the thoughts, glad I'm not the only one
TansRN-GL with US tomorrow...let us know
Jovigal- I wasn't going to have the tests either...but read a thread on this sight and changed my mind...too much reading not too good
My2LnT- What did the fold measure? Did they tell you? I wouldn't worry too much, after my Genetic counciling I know entirely too much about downs and that testing...wait for the amino. I haven't recieved results from blood test yet, I'll let you know.
Malinka- wow all in one..nice "happy meal" any names yet?
Mattie- thanks for the good wishes...DH is now determined to find out the sex, I still don't want to but it means soooo much to him.

Hope I didn't miss anyone and sorry I went on and on and on, I just never get a chance to post so wanted to fit it all in! I feel the baby move and furniture (organs) move frequently. I think the baby is like my DH and very hyper.

Rikirees, so sorry for everything that you are going thru. WE are all here for you so if you need anything , any help with research or anything at all, just say. WEll it is all virtual, but still moral support.

Honestly if that would be for me , as painful as it is , I would focus on singleton. You did everything that you could do. Sorry if my post was out of line

noodles no names yet, as I wait for my 20week scan for conformation. I guess it is all too good to be true just yet.

Hey guys.....

Not much going on here...just waiting and chomping at the bit until tomorrow when I can see the little nuggets!!!

Noodle
I have that book for my boys-Guess how much I love you...it is sooo cute. My boys love it and I just hug them up when I read it to them.

Wannabe
So glad that you get to see your baby on Monday! You will have to let us know what you are having...how exciting!!!!

Rikirees
I am so sorry for all you have been through and I do not blame you for not wanting another amnio after what you have been through. That must have been horrible. I can only imagine. I would want to save the one baby as well with all that is going on with your other babies. I cant even imagine what you are going through. Hang in there girl.

Noodle
Glad that things are going well for you now. Tell DH to keep taking it easy!! Nothing rough until baby comes!!!

Malinka
I know what you mean...I keep thinking that as well....like is this for real? LOL I am still so happy that things are going well for me right now after the m/c last summer it is hard to get those thoughts out of my head at times. I keep looking ahead though!!!

I hope you all (me included) have a great weekend! I got my results back from the 1st Trimester screen, all is good, chance of Downs is now1 in 3300 and trichromezone 13 & 18 is 1 in 4800. I know it's not zero but it's good according to the analyst.

TansRN- thanks for the good thoughts...DH is a little too proud the DR told him to take it easy.....it must be a guy thing

Malinka- i know what you mean about, not believing it. DH and I hold my tummy(which is getting quite large) and just talk about how lucky and happy we are.

Rikirees- Hope you're hanging in there!

To everyone I missed...have fun and enjoy!

Well I am back from camping and I survived. My muscles are very sore from hiking all over Gods country but other than that I am doing OK. Not much sleep in the tent so I am about ready for a nap...

I had another u/s Friday and ever thing looks good...the tech was the sucky one who doesnt take her time at all and even try to get good photos but anyhow she thinks one baby might be a girl....not sure though. They were moving around like crazy and kicking each other!!! It was funny. Other than that I have a complete placenta previa...on restrictions at work and such. Things are looking good and both babies are progressing at the same rate.. It looks like we are talking about a C-section around Christmas depending on how things are progressing. That works out....

The pics are not that great but I updated my blog...

I was looking at the begining of this thread and it seems like we have lost so many ppl. I hope they are all doing ok.
I have a question for you all- after my hospital stay and infection last week I think I am suffering from a case of hyperstimulation (is this possible with an FET months later?!). I had a severe case with my first IVF (no transfer) so I remember how it felt. The reason I think this is cuz I am having a bit of trouble getting a deep breath and my abdomen is slightly tender. I kinda fee like a balloon ready to pop. I am not sure how I am supposed to feel at 4 months with trips but seems like the area under the boobs is bigger and harder than the area where the babies are. It could just be the organs being pushed up but I thought I would get info from you lovely ladies.
TransRN- you are so brave to camp. I am so uncomfortable all the time I cant even imagine all that you did. Good for you!

I dont think that you can get OHSS from FET. First of all you dont stim at all so that should not be a factor. I think that if you are having this problem you should talk to your doctor. This does not seem right. I would call right away and see what is going on....Just my opinion.

Camping was fun...lots of walking and I looks like a beetle on its back trying to get up from the make shift bed!!!

rikirees ,
i second Tanya's opinion, you should contact your doctor if anything bothers you.

Overstimulation occurs I guess only when you are stimming.

TansRN- welcome back from camping.....I don't know how you did it, although I have planned a small hiking trip Labor Day weekend, I hope I do OK. US sounds like it went well, I hate when they rush...so far so good my new OB has been very patient with me and DH and always takes his time and gives loads of pics.
Rikirees- Have you had a chance to talk to your DR yet?? Any update? I get extremely bloated and uncomfortable after every meal...I think I'm just eating too much though...LOL
Malinka- how's the twins...feeling anything new? I love going on Americanbaby.com and viewing what new thing the baby is doing this week.

Hope everyone else is doing well and enjoying their pregnancy!

You guys are so funny with the not needing dopplers and u/s. I feel the same way. I just want to start feeling them move on a regular basis so I dont have to worry about them as much!!! I love my doppler and I do like it when I hear them I always love to see them on u/s. That is so much more fun!!! Which by the way I am getting more and more excited about my upcoming appointment....Tuesday. I hope that they will be able to tell what we are having. I want to shop shop shop for them!!! I have all kinds of things planned out in my little brain but I need to know what they are! I have been having bak aches lately. Not a good feeling. i am on my feet alot at work and I am thinking maybe that is what is causing it. I will be talking to the doctor about it this week when I go in.

Rikirees.
How are you feeling? Did you see your doc? I was thinking about you this morning....
