Dear ladies, I know that I wasn't too diligent with replies but I read your stories every day. You have been more then supportive towards me and I'm forever grateful for it. What happened this time, I thought if I stay quiet and don't complain too much everything will be fine. And it is fine!!!! It is great!!! But I know that it has nothing to do with sharing or staying quiet... Anyway, I have another blood test scheduled for Tuesday, and then my first ultrasound will be on the 19th.
I wish all of you good luck; and I will keep coming to check on you guys :D

Thank you again!!!

yarnister Sounds like you work in the school setting too? I am also. I told my boss yesterday about taking a couple days off the beginning of school (my ER is scheduled to be around that time) and she was more than supportive. I didn't tell her the specifics of my situation but she's totally fine with it. I sincerely hope that your principal will be as understanding and supportive. Good luck!!!

CroElla Congratulations! You and your DH must be thrilled to hear that!

Anie I am sorry to hear about your situation. I will pray for you.

Anie
i am so sorry there was no fertilisation this time for you. Every step of IVF feels like a huge milestone. We had 9 eggs, 6 mature and only got 2 fertilisations using ICSI. I wish you every success in your next cycle!

Observer
I am also very sorry to hear about your BFN. I know how low you probably feel but I do also know that there is hope too. I wish you good luck and success in your next cycle!

Croella
I am thrilled with your result - congratulations! High Beta score too! Pitter Patter of 4 little feet coming???????

LisaPA
I had quite a lot of cramping which was pretty painful for about a week after transfer. I also had really sore (.) (.) for the first week too. Good Luck!!!

Kim31
How did the retrieval go?

My Beta result was 599 on day 20 (last Wed) past EC (how doc counts). He said it would be a great score for approx 5 weeks pregnant which I was just about to be. I have my first scan on Aug 15th to see the heartbeat and check how many are there!

Good luck to all of you whatever stage you are at.

Thanks for the kind words Tracey,

Reading your success story really gave me some food for thought. We somewhat doubted my BFN at first since it was only a day 13 blood test... and AF hadn't arrived. So I took one more progesterone dose just in case.. but AF did arrive this weekend.

Yet reading what you wrote about the Croatian girl.. one has to wonder....
I guess one holds on to any shred of hope at this stage.

Have a happy and healthy pregnancy!!

Hi Observer.

I'm really sorry for your BFN :(
I can imagine how you must be feeling cause i vas feeling devasteded myself with my outcome.

We've got to be strong and try again. That's all i can say.

I wish everybody who had BFP best of luck and happy pregnancy.

Just want to ask one thing:

I'm going on holidays to see my mum by the end of the month (yep,i need holidays now!!!) for 2 weeks and need your advise: How do i get rid of this bloated tummy???
She doesn't know about IVF and i don't want her to think that i'm pregnant!!!
And one more question: I'm feeling pain in my tummy and that area since the EC.Is this normal?Normally how long does this pain last?

Thank you for your advise.
Anie :)

Hey everyone! :D

Haven't posted in awhile but things have been busy. Had a death in the family. Melanoma cancer. Very sad but she was suffering so much, we are also glad to know she isn't anymore.

Tracey, Observer and Anie - I'm soo soo very sorry to hear your sad news. Just know there are always other chances out there and please don't lose hope. I will be thinking of you all and I know one day soon it will happen for you. Please, please keep up the faith!!!!!!

LisaPa - BABY DUST TO YOU!! BEST OF LUCK AND I CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR YOUR GOOD NEWS. :!: :!: :!: When do you find out again?

As for me, Lupron shots are going pretty smoothly. Causing me some mild cramping almost every morning and afternoon but nothing too bad. Start the other meds on 8/13. My first u/s to see how many eggs are growing down there is also next Monday. Getting a little anxious to find out how things are going down there. GROW FOLLIES GROW... :D :D

Reading everyone's stories on the 2ww has me really dreading that point in this process. I hope I can come up with enough books movies and solitaire to occupy my mind so I don't obsess, though I'm sure I still will...

For all of those I forgot, I hope things are going great for you and keep up the PMA!! SENDING STICKY BABY DUST OUT TO EVERYONE!!! :) :) :)
Me:26 DH:48
ttc - since 1/06 (vas reversal failure)
8/07 - 1st IVF/ICSI - BFN (groan)
