estradiol levels

Post by nicoleslp99 »

At my day 3 tests, my estradiol level was 8.5. I was placed on danazol due to endo for 2 months. I had baseline ultrasound on aug 3 and estradiol went up to 56. I was suppose to start stims on aug 6 but now nurse said to do another ultrasound and bloodwork on aug 6 and then they would let me know. From what I have read on these boards, the estradiol level is still ok- am I wrong?

Oh nicoleslp99, I wish I knew an answer for you. My Dr. never tells me numbers, just says "everything is fine" (or not). Maybe I should ask for more info.
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that I am pulling for you and hope you are not delayed in treatment. I had a cyst yesterday and the Dr. said we could wait for my next cycle to see if it was still there or aspirate. I chose to aspirate. It wasn't fun but I was able to continue.

I did my first shot this morning. If/when you want to hear about it, let me know.
Please K.I.T.

I would love to hear how the shots went! Are you takine the bravelle and menopur together? Hopefully my estradiol level will go down tomorrow and I can start the shots on Tues. The support on this board is great- good to know there are other people going through the same thing. Keep me posted on your progress and good luck!

Did your levels go down? I hope you got to start your meds today. The first shot was so hard. Yes I take the bravelle and menopur together. 2 Bravelle and 1 Menopur twice daily. Mixing is what made it hard I think. It to so long to get ready for the shot, then I stood there for like 20 minutes freaking out. I finally just placed the needle next to my skin, closed my eyes and pushed it in. Not so bad. The meds burn some, but I can handle it. I hope it goes easier for you.
Keep me posted!
Good luck! :)
