Hi girls, I think I found the right place to be. I am on my first IVF cycle too. I've been on BC pills and Lupron and will hopefully begin FSH shots in two days. I don't have many people to talk to about all of this. We've been TTC for a few years on our own and for an additional year with a reproductive specialist. I've had 6 IUI cycles and was pregnant on the 4th one. I miscarried at 8 weeks. We decided to move on to IVF because of my age. Did I mention... I am 40 and that is what is making me soooo scared. I know that it can happen and it does happen for older women. My mind is just on over-drive. The Lupron is making me sad. I cry here and there. It will be worth it. Just to update you...I had another blood test today and my Beta hcg was 2300. I guess everything is fine so far

Hey guys, my DH took my laptop away after my ET. I've been on strict bed rest. I only have a few minutes. They retrieved 8 eggs and by the time of the embryo transfer(Monday 6th), I had 3, in which they injected all of them. I test on the 17th and I am already going crazy. Mild cramping and sore boobies are my symptoms right now. I hope this is it, I don't think I can take them telling me it failed again. But I am keeping positive.
Tracey, I am so hurt for you right now. Is there anyway you can get a blood test to see? Maybe it's not what you think. We've had a miracle before right? Observer, Annie- so sorry. I've been there before and I know it hurts like nothing else. My prayers are with you all

Don't have any avice on getting rid of the bloated tummy. Time to take my meds so I will talk to all later.

hello to all of my LOVELY ladies in waiting!!!!!!! can't talk long....had to fight w/ oldest teenager to get my hands on computer for just 15 minutes!!

it's all official......am doing trigger shot tonight at precisely 11:45pm..... ER on thurs and ET on sunday --- for a 3 day transfer.... my doc historically does 3 day transfers when 5 or fewer follies --- which is my case.....am SOOOOOOO hoping that just cuz i have so few doesn't mean BFP anyway........feeling very crampy and bloated as the follies in my left ovary have responded well to all the meds and had one measuring 24 mm on monday!!!!!! i again asked doc "is it possible for my follies to get OVER-ripe???" NOPE........he's been trying to catch up the smaller ones in my right ovary and by waiting til thursday -- this should do the trick!!

BABY DUST TO ALL!!!! Will probably not check back in til after transfer... maybe on Monday.....

How is everyone doing? As for me I am OK still have not given in to the evil EPT....... 2 more days to go till test day My appt is at 9am.... I am so scared to get bad results......But I am feeling positive trying to keep up my positve thinking.....I have a quest. Is it possible to have increased smell from the PIO.... i smell everything very strong......Silly i know other than that cramping on and off nothing bad and boobs are still really sore hoping its not Af showing her ugly face.....

Dear LisaPa, I am soooooo happy for you and your DH!!!!! It is a moment in life that you'll always remember Enjoy your pregnancy, but remember to slow down too:) Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!! (as far as cramping, my doctor told me that it is normal because the uterus is stretching for a little one, don't worry)

I have a question for you all, did Lupron make you depressed? And... I just started stims, I feel so tired. Did anyone have that reaction? Thanks-chriss
