Hi everyone,
I am now 26 weeks and am starting to feel quite tired and stressed from work. I am due to stop work at 34 weeks but am thinking about maybe stopping a bit earlier...when did everyone else stop/ are going to stop?
I feel a bit of a wimp but have actually been having a kip at lunchtimes this week as things have been so tiring. (I say kip but really going into the meeting room and putting two chairs together and closing my eyes!)One of my bosses has been really stressing me out (the other one is fine), I don't want to muck them about but I also am just counting down the days til I can have some rest.
Any advice?
I hope everyone else is still enjoying their nine months!
Love Kirsty
xx

Hi Kirsty,

I am only 13 weeks, so you're way ahead!

Legally you can start your maternity leave any time 11 weeks before your due date. i think you really need to listen to yourself and how you are feeling - can you take any work home with you so at least you could be at home a bit more? If you do finish early are there any sick or holiday days you could take tagged onto the front?

I am due on 10th FEb, so am due to finish at Christmas when I will be 33 weeks, but will have to see how I feel - I hope I'm still fine by then!

Take it easy, #love SAlly
