How rude and selfish. I am LOVING the list and going to try to use at least 3 a day in normal conversation. Not sure if I will fake an accent or not when I use the word, that we will have to play by ear.

Girls - Here is a question for you... as you very well can see I have nothing to do but think of various hypotheticals... Do any of you get blood taken during your two week wait to test for progesterone/estrogen levels? I get the 1cc of PIO daily and that is it. When I did FET I had estrogen patches and PIO due to not using the stim meds. Shouldn't they be checking my levels if I always seem to spot prior to testing? Am I just being a baby and need to shut up? Can we hang tampons dipped in special sauces from Robbos neighbors trees and bushes when we TP?? Like I said - real brain gym going on here. Need some feedback.

OOh Amy is fiesty today! I think it is a splendid idea to hang tampons dipped in special sauces from the trees.
Hope the cry helped a little and I'm sorry the spotting is worse. That really blows. My clinic started testing my blood 3 days after transfer and I had to go every other day until pg test. I had to take an HCG booster during the 2ww, and then I had to start estrogen pills and patches. I assumed they were doing that because my bloodwork showed I needed more estrogen.

I love the list, I will put it to use tonight at dinner, we are going out. Maybe I will have to use the dunny.

I went to the Dr. today, once again expecting an U/S and didn't get one. I seem to remember Fee having this problem. When am I gonna get one??? I did hear the HB for the first time. Really neat.

Be back later! Have a nice night everyone!
Jenn

OK just popping in to say hello before I run off to court this morning...

Amy, sorry to hear the dunny experiences are horrible. I'm thinking of ya. Did you ring the clinic and ask them those questions??? I wasn't tested during 2ww but afterwards I was told I had low prog and had to go on supplements.

Yes Amy you are on fire, I think Robbo's naighbour is going to have quite the decorative garden festtoned with colourful tampons, jello in the pool and cascades of TP. Nice work people when do we start?

Jenn my memory is awful at the moment but I do recall bitching about the lack of ultrasounds, from memory it was the infertility clinic who were particulalry stingy. As best as I can recall my OB has given me one each visit. You should definatley be having one around the 12 week mark. Are you having the Downs Syndrome screening, if so you would probably be referred to a specialist sonographer for that. I think it is definately time that you got an ultra sound. If not we can always make a TP stop at your Dr's office as a mark of the discontent of the sisterhood.

Robbo, I was anemic beofre I started IVF but managed to get my levels back to normal before starting using standard iron tabs. I took them for a few months during preg but for some stupid reason stopped taking them. So I think I may be prone to anemia. Have to say I am feeling pretty wiped out. I will keep going with the strong iron tabs but may ask about injections next appointment with Dr. Have you ever had the injections???

Angie, nice work on bogan, that is a classic Aussieism which is in daily use. I thought of another one....Drongo....i.e stupid person. For example Robbo's neighbour is a drongo.

Hey to all the other sisters, a bit quiet, are you all OK?

Hey Mel, do you have a good recipe for Apple Pie. I love Apple Pie and I'm going to try and make one...

Amy- What on earth did your dr. say about the testing? I don't see why they wouldn't be able to test your progesterone. It just makes you wonder why. I am still holding out hope. Did you convince the dr. office to test you early?
Ya know, to keep your mind off everything, you could do my first week lesson plans for me. I only teach Reading, English and Soial studies. Be creative, lots of hands on stuff. Just let me know what you come up with.

Fee- more injections?????????? Is there ever an end to them. Ya know, none of my doctors have been concerned with my anemia so I am not concerned either. I probably should take iron tablets, but I don't.

Jenn- No U/S. My goodness. I think we may need to have a few words with your dr. At least you did hear the heart beat. To me, I thought that was almost the best part of my appointments. It just seemed to make everything so real for me.

WHERE IS EVERYONE?????

OK - been practicing the aussisms and am feeling good with the exception of pronunciations... might need some advice on the short and long vowel sounds for each word as I don't want to be pronouncing it incorrectly and then be a total derro. I am desperately looking for a bogan. Who doesn't love a mullet from the 80s?

I did call the doctor and left a message with the nurses. They said a blood test wasn't too much to ask for. But the don't call me back. I finally log into my email last night to find that they emailed me a lab slip marked "insurance" not the usual "our account". Well not that big of a deal as I do have insurance, but my insurance doesn't cover that lab they chose. Now I wait for them again to send me a slip for a lab I can go to with my carrier. Pain.
This is my other psychotic event... I only spot bright red blood in the morning after I get up. The rest of the day relatively small amounts of things dark brown. This is making me not want to sleep. I should just stay upright all day and not lay down, then I won't have the red blood. But I should also say I took yet another HPT and had a negative. The more I take and the more spotting the more I am prepared for changing my profile to another BFN. Then I go to tell what I thought was DH about the morning red and find him in the family room all teary eyed. I am thinking he is upset about all of this too. Oh no. He is crying while watching an IRONMAN event with a man with ALS. I know that is sad... but I am sad. Be sad for and with me. So today he is just H.

Robbo - I will definitely do your lesson plans. Just tell me the grade and relative ability levels and I will have those for you in a jiffy. I love to plan. I don't have to do that at my job as all of our assignments are put on disks for our kids. Makes it a real no brainer for the teacher. Slight modifications here and there, but otherwise just assign and correct.

Fee - I am thinking you should name nogs something like the stars are all doing so when you are a famous IVF defense lawyer and your kids are in the news, they will fit in. Like Tangerine, Radish or a funky last name for a first name.

Angie - The rellies still invading your space?? We miss you!

Sass - Are you working hard this week or just lying around with all those brand new boxes of drugs??

Jenn - How is the washer? Might be time to tie her down. Would hate to have your DH find you pinned by the washer.

Mel - You around??

I will just be compulsively checking my email for another lab slip if anyone needs me.

Just sent another email to them requesting to take the serum test on Thursday rather than Friday as we have people coming to watch DSs triathlon this weekend. Told them I needed Friday to cry it out before the rellies arrive. Hope that will work so I can stop this torture!

I decided my goal for today was to get my posts up over 250. Feeling so useless need to start setting some goals that I can actually achieve to boost the self esteem!

Sorry ladies... this will be a quick drive by of a post. Hope to be back later or tomorrow for more personals...

Amy: dear Amy. I'm sorry you are having such a rough time. I will have to dream up some more hypotheticals or projects for you to keep your mind busy. I'm hoping they got the lab slip to you. Like someone mentioned (I think it was Jenn?), I have my blood drawn every few days during the 2ww to check hormone levels.

Aussie Update: LOVE the aussieism list. I will print it out and add to it as we go. It will be a challenge to fit some of those words in... but then Sassy is a sucker for a challenge!

Back in the stirrups today... respectable although not awe-inspiring crop of antrals this month. Migraine indicates CD1 will be today. Starting my mdl flare... in fact, must run home during lunch to shoot up some lupron (ummmm. lupron. my favorite  ). Told dh he better be practicing his technique for the butt shot tonight. I have done them myself, but I have him do it when possible-- makes me feel like I am not doing this all by myself. And, as a bonus... he feels REALLY sorry for me when he has to shoot me in the butt. He tends to do the dishes, etc.

Pitiful thing-- I FORGOT what to do with the gonal-f powders. Now granted, I only used the powders on the last cycle.... but still. I sat there and stared at them last night with no.clue what to do with them. How do you do this four times and FORGET how to do the meds??? I suppose this proves I truly took a vacation from thinking about IVF the last 5 months! Luckily, IVF coordinator walked me through it again and it is all coming back now.

Roll on Mega-cycle.

Hope to be back for more personals later...

Just had the blood draw for the progesterone and estradiol levels. I am hoping that will shed some light on the situation.
This will make post #244. Need to force 6 more to reach my goal.

Amy--I'm sorry this has been such a stressful 2ww...hopefully the blood draw will help. As far as posting goes, you could try the one word posts. I tried it once and while time consuming it does up your count!
