I think that one thing is for sure: yoga is a great sport and absolotly cannot hurt your chances of getting pregnant.

I believe running is Ok to reduce stress. However, maybe during your IVF it is better to slow down and let your body concentrate in its internal process: the right number and quality of eggs...etc. But if you feel like exercizing before the EBT it´s okay as long as you feel you are not overdoing it.

2nd timer: why does your MD says that other than walking is off the record? What are the medical reasons?

GOOD LUCK TO U ALL!!!

Beats me, I'm just on a "need to know" basis there.
No seriously, I think I'm at a good clinic with a pretty good success record but the communication is lacking. I think they are still pretty conservative & old school with some of the recommendations.

Hi---I'm an active exerciser, failed IUI and +IVF, resulted in miscarriage then preg naturally while waiting to start cycle. Anyway throughout it all I exercised 1 hour daily and would cut to only eliptical during a cycle for 1/2 not heavy, HB under 140. RE said this was fine (no 2 day off after ET, but I took one day horizontal) I didn't exercise for 3 days after ET, my own choice again. Since being preg I continue to excercise and don't have the energy to do anything but 1/2 speed and time, but still feel better doing this then nothing. I hope this helps, you might try speed walking rather than running (not so jarring on your body) and yoga is fantastic but I always need a nap after rather then getting energized like from elip. Good Luck in your journey!

You are right about all doctors saying different things. If I don't work out, then I feel more stressed. I'd rather feel less stressed. I think I will continue to exercise but cut it down, not be so intense. As far as the rest period after ET, I do not know yet. I'll find out more on Monday when I have my next appointment. Keep me posted of any new news re: exercise. Thanx. Best wishes everyone-chriss
