A little help from the HPT crowd...

I had my beta this morning and I am waiting for the results. I caved and bought a hpt, a cheap one that measures 100 so I could rationalize if it was negative... well it was positive. Freakin positive!

So my question is - I am 8dp5dt, do you think it could be a false positive? I triggered with HCG 15 days ago - could it still be that? I thought HCG was out of the system in about 10 days.

Who has thoughts for me, my mind is racing!!!

You are pregnant! Congratulations. The shot is definitely out of your system and 100 is quite high. Enjoy it and now you don't have to worry about the call!

I thought the HCG stayed in 10-14 days. But your results sound positive since you tested 15 days later, and the test you bought was 100, no way that it could still be the HCG shot!

I also just thought it can't be the trigger shot because how would the Dr. know the difference in the blood test whether the level was the shot or actual pregnancy.

I can't believe it until I get the call. But wow. Just - well - WOW!

Congrats...I am not a fan of HPT's but it worked for you. I say yes maam you are pregnant. Keep us posted. I never got a + HPT but am now alomost 21 weeks prego so there you go.
