No real symptoms

Post by Cori »

Hi everybody!
I have just found out that I am pregnant and see the little heartbeat on the u/s ( 2 days ago) but find myself worried about everything. Other than missing my period and being a little tired, I have NO symptoms at all. My breasts aren't sore, I don't really have any cravings, etc. I do have heartburn on and off. What I am concerned about is through the night I have pretty intense cramping. It feels kind of like gas but lasts pretty much the wwhole night. This morning it was pretty bad but once I had a BM, I was fine. Is this normal? I don't mean to sound like a hypochondriac.
Thank you!

Hi Cory,

Congratulations! It is normal to not feel all the symptoms of being pregnant (it's still early though). I had little with my first. It was about 8 wks and then had no appetite and a little nausea.
If I were you, I would ask your dr or the nurses at the center about the cramping. They may suggest some tips to make you feel better. I'm sure it's nothing serious but you shouldn't have to suffer though it. Have you tried taking an antacid? (like Tums?)

Good luck!

I was just the same as you. No obvious symptoms at all. I would have gassy sort of cramps prior to BM's (sorry if TMI) but usually only in the morning. I was a little tired but nothing else at all. I never had a day of MS and at 31 weeks pg w/ twins, I am still waiting for the boobs for grow more than 1/2 a cup size.
My RE said this to me. . . "Be grateful!" So I am and I realize now that maybe I'm not going to have symptoms and that's alright too.

Congrats and good luck to you. Try not to worry too much because it is normal.

Take care~

oh Cori, be grateful! :D
Actually I was fine until week 6 and 7, those were the worst. Sick all the time, so fatigued I couldnt get out of bed. couldnt eat at all. and then it got better. so you might get some symptoms soon but hopefully they dont last long. Take care of yourself!!

Cori congrats on your BFP.
