Hi everyone else hope all is well for you ...have a good weekend.

I have beeen struggiling after being sick all wed night and thursday. Think we causght a tummy bug on the plane. Adam been feeling sick and yeuky but not actually puked...( lovely tmi)anyway although tired today i do feel better. I am pleased to say the meds my gp gave me are doing the trick and AF is gone for now Am tired so Just going to relax or the next couple of days so have a great weekend x x

What a beautiful day!!!! Weather glorious.

We just had an earth tremor in Manchester! Wasnt very big but we felt it all the same....hope we dont get any more as they can be quite scary.

I have had no movement from Junior.....I am willing him/her to boot me. Oh how I know I am gonna regret it in a few weeks time!!

Kate - Glad you are ok! The worrying will get easier as you pass each stage. I am really looking forward to it now because I know I will feel it moving really soon and the time has actually really flown! Have you told people??

Jen - Hugs to ya, Hope you are feeling better and not too quesy now! Rubbish, and amazing what you can catch on a plane. Take it easy kiddo. Glad the pills are working....you are on your way to your 2007 BFP!!!!!!!!!!! Hope Broc's appetite has calmed down and he hasn't eaten his way through anything else. Little devil!

Hi guys. I so have internet rage tonight! Bl**dy PC is soooo slow!

Kate - you MUST try stop stressing! The first few weeks are definitely the worst but the worrying continues After you hear the heart beat, you worry about the 12 week scan, then I worried about not getting the 20 wk one so worried all the way til we had 4d scan at 28 weeks. Its only been since then that I started to chill a bit. You worry about not feeling the kicking at all, then worry when you don't feel it every day! ....... During first tri I used to take comfort from the fact that there was no bleeding and as I felt so hungry all the time, I took that as a good sign. Also dh and I bought a book that went over how bean was developing week by week and we would congratulate ourselves on the weekly milestone! That really helped. Just try keep your mind occupied as much as poss and eat lots of nice chocolate!!! xxxx

Jen - love the fairy dust, pics etc! Lovely, thankyou. Sorry to hear you were poorly but glad you are on the mend. Sickness bugs are sooo yucky and horrid. Your GP sounds FAB. You must feel so relieved to have someone who really understands and is (quite rightly) giving you nhs scan as its dear enough without forking out even more Glad you meds are sorting out AF - typical that AF is misbehaving when you need her to BEHAVE! I am so loving your PMA hun. keep it up!! Remember that lucky no.SIX (ty!)

Lucy - welcome back! Great to have you back doll. Good for you pampering yourself for your hols, you deserve it. Have a fantastic time, hope you get lovely and bronzed. Glad you are well and sounding so cheery. So job is going well? That's great news. Fingers crossed you can cycle again in October. Another BFP on its way!!

Julie - 18 weeks and junior is kicking! Sounds like a kick to me. Brilliant! When I first started to feel the kicks it was only a few times a week, then about 5 times weekly then every day. But for the first fortnight, I only felt it twice (once a week) and wasn't sure if that's what it was til later. Don't worry he/she will make his/her presence known soon enough and then you jut won't stop feeling him/her! How exciting you've got your pram. Are you thinking of furniture yet? I was laughing when you said you had finances all worked out cos so have I! Every month's worth til next July! How is the bump looking?

Nicki - how is next lucky no. 6'er?! Scan on Monday - everything crossed for you hun, it'll all be fine. Do you have days off for iui or having to go back to work after? I e mailed you earlier with loads a info about Edinburgh. You will seriously LOVE it if you come - I have an ulterior motive tho as I want to meet you!

Gail - Katie is rolling over. WOW!! That's soon is it not? I'm sure my nephew didn't do that til he was 8 months! What a wee clever cookie she is. So can she push herself up if lying on her belly? (sorry not completely au fait with the milestones ) And how is the diet going? Good I hope. Think I'll be asking you for advice in a few months.

Well I've only one more week of work to go. Yepee!!! Getting tired now at work and no energy to do much at nights during the week when I get home. Also back sore when I try do any housework (which sounds bliss ) but feel bad as dh up to his eyeballs in paint trying to do the nursery so housework not his no.1 priority. Feel as if the house is a tip! Also been getting lots of Braxton Hicks contractions - about 7/8 on Wednesday? (see, worrying again!) but midwife said this is normal. Dh and I went to ante natal class on Wednesday to find it had been cancelled, the whole lot due to staffing probs! Was so annoyed. Have managed however, to find other ones that start a week on Wednesday. So I had the afternoon off work and we went and bought 2 new sofas! In cream - somethibg tells me that's not such a great colour ....... They arrive in 6 weeks - hopefully before baby comes, all ready to be pucked on!!!

We have now bought the moses basket and nursery bedding and border/ lightshade etc so can't wait to get it all finished. Furniture arrives in 2 weeks hopefully.

Well gals have a great weekend, off to put some food on. Hope to catch you all over the weekend

I am still stuggiling with after effects of stomach bug. seems to have set off my MS and am resting up, Has triggered eye stuff & vertigo ( like room spinning and sea sickness or having 1 to many a drink )
so have only posted a short post. Just taking tablets agin for a couple of days and see if i can kick it into touch. Hope so causese i can't be on them and do tmt. anyway am laying low and off back to bed now.

OMG, so many messages to read and reply, forgive me i forget to mention or comment on previous posts, firstly i had no idea anyone had posted as i dont log on to this site anymore, and wait for my emails to tell ive got reply on pheonix page, ive had no emails very odd..... so i didnt think anyone had posted to thats 1 reason i havent been round..... i check my email ac every day, and if i'd of seen a reply i'd of posted, but anyway, i didnt...... trying not to think about this cycle to much and just live life.......

Yes, scan tomorrow, not really feeling anything about it, just going to go have scan and take it at face value, what will be will be huh???

the other reason, ive not posted is mums been 'dumped' by her b/friend, and hes left her with tonz on shit, and debt to her eye balls, shes stressing out and ive spent like 2 hrs on each evening on phone to her, theres only me and bro to help her.... and we are miles away..... Mum lives in york, me in suffolk and bro in hertfordshire......... I havent got time, to go up there with this iui cycle, wont have time off work til end of sept, and we were going to go on hols, so now i think we are going up to mums, its all such a huge mess.......My bro is busy too, hes director of his own company and hasnt got time with work comittments etc...... Its so hard on all of us......... theres only so much you can do by telephone........

Works been v.busy as usual, Ive been working all over at different offices traveling 30 odd miles aday.......Its been nice in someways seeing different people and doing something different but getting home later aint so much fun, im not getting paid any more for it, petrol for extra mile sis covered but not time!

Otherwise not done much socially, excpet see my best mate on wed, it was lovely, we spent the morning with her and her 4 kids! I decided i dont want her life, at all...... 4 kids is way too many.....I just wnat 1!!!!!! Her DH has had the snip now! which in a way pissed me off, which we had that as our problem!!!

Lucy....... We remember, how could we 4get you huney, you a true pheonix!! Never forget any of my pheonixes!!! Bet you're looking fwd to hols, yes seems like yonks since italy...... Love hol shopping!!

We are just off out now, going for a drive locally will stop at local farm shop pick up from fresh produce etc..... and look round garden centre, its a lovely day but i hear rain is on the way so must make the most of the sunshine!!!

Nicki enjoy the garden centre and the farm shop (sounds very healthy!) Photo Bucket was a very good idea, can’t wait to see everyone’s photo’s. I will try and control myself and not put too many of Katie on there! Sorry to hear about your Mum’s boyfriend, it sounds as if its probably a good thing he has gone even though I am sure she doesn’t think so at the moment. What a B*****d leaving her with a load of debt. Katie isn’t sitting up on her own yet but us having a real good try at it though and I only need to hold out my hands and she pulls her self up. Good luck with your scan 2moz.

Jen hope you feel better soon, get DH running around looking after you, hope he is feeling better to now. I love the pictures you put on for everyone the other day. I love the hamster that is exactly what Katie does, mind you I wouldn’t have minded a photo of Richard Hammond, for some reason I think he is lovely!

Lisa I totally agree about eating lots of nice chocolate, helps with the stress levels. Its still stuck on my tummy now though!! I think Katie is rolling over early, she does seem quite ahead of other babies and I wondered if her being in the freezer for 10 months may have helped! She can push her head right up now when she is on her front, however at the moment she is fast asleep on her front with her thumb in her mouth. Diet is going rubbish, didn’t loose any this week, in fact think I put some on but I found weighing myself stood on one leg meant that I was the same weight. Yes I know its cheating but I needed to boost my self confidence! I struggled with the housework and a bad back towards the end of pregnancy and my midwife told me not to do any heavy housework and then I couldn’t do any for 6 weeks after because of C-section, so I kept having to hassle poor DH. Braxton Hicks are strange aren’t they, I was always concerned I wouldn’t know when I was in labour, but contractions are much worse than Braxton Hicks and my waters broke with a gush, actually I think it was Niagara falls, they went with a huge pop and work DH up. I to have cream sofa’s and as Jen said at least it goes well with the colour of sick!

Julie blimey an earth tremor in Manchester, bet that felt strange. You will so love the feeling of baby kicking, other people I knew that were pregnant at a similar time to me often moaned cos baby kept them awake at night but Katie kicking always made me smile whatever time of day or night, when you have waited so long for something just enjoy every single second because it does go by way too quickly.

Kate how are you feeling, are you finding it hard to keep a secret? The worrying will ease, it’s the first weeks to the scan that I found the worst, but you will be fine. Hope you had fun with your step daughter, how old is she?

Lucy good to see you back on here. PC’s are so frustrating, we had a virus on ours the other week and it took ages to sort it out. Katie is still going swimming and loves it, she wasn’t so keen today and we couldn’t understand why, just as we were thinking about getting out she suddenly perked up and started grinning and bouncing on her Daddy’s legs so we stayed in longer, it wasn’t until we got to the changing rooms that we discovered she had had a poo, thank god for swim nappies (sorry TMI) could have been really embarrassing! I agree you have to have new clothes for a holiday, its part of the fun. Shame Tony doesn’t want to go but I am sure you will have a great time.

Katie is a little angel, think she may be getting a cold as she hasn’t stopped sneezing this afternoon and now has a very red nose. She played football in the garden yesterday with a little help from me and DH and she couldn’t stop laughing it made me laugh so much I had tears streaming down my face. I was holding her up so she was stood on her feet and DH was rolling the ball towards her and I moved her towards the ball so she pushed it with her legs the more we did it the more she laughed. The strange thing was that every time the ball got near her she closed her eyes! Not sure she will be very good at sport when she is older!

Don't have any of me heavily preggers so I will need to ask dh to take a side profile photo of me and I'll post it on. Sorry about your mum Nicki - how is she coping? I know just how you feel, my mum is not close by so when she was ill it was a real stress. I took leave from work cos my brother was on holiday and I didn't want to stress even more with being preg. Dh and I just played it by ear. There's never a right or wrong answer but don't stress yourself too much. Your mum won't want that with your up and coming cycle. Good luck 2mro hun - I like the casual attitiude. hat def helped me on no. 6 ..... remember LUCKY NO. 6!!! xx

Gail - What a cutie Katie is!! Always laughing in the photos! I can just imagine you and dh in the garden and getting Katie to kick the football. Awww ... I was smiling and laughing when I read that. I'm glad i'm not the only one who's struggled with the housework. Dh was painting the nursery today so I decided to hoover, clean the bathrooms, do washing, get the lunches and breakfasts, go food shopping and I am absolutely exhausted now. I had to lie down twice (once for a power nap) in between cos I was so tired and breathless. And my back hurts! So I felt better when I read your post Gail. Hope you're not stressing too much about the diet. I laughed a lot when I read you saying you were standing on one foot .... the things we do huh?! xx

Jen - sorry to hear your MS is playing up, what a bummer. And your eyes giving you jip. Hun ((((((( HUGS))))))) to you. xxx Just put your feet up and rest, rest, rest and get your strength back. Hope the tablets from the GP are still working - are you still taking them?? Is AF behaving? So so close now til your cycle - bet you can't wait to get it underway. xxxYes driving is becoming difficult now as my bump is quite high and all to the front so when I sit down the little princess pushes up even more on my ribs and diaghram. I have quite a few friends from the West (West of Scotland to everyone else - 50-100 miles away) but can't bear driving the journey through now so they are all coming to visit me instead! I almost get like a panic atack sometimes in the car cos I can't get breath

Julie - what have you been up to this weekend? No more earth tremors I hope! Has Junior kicked again? I used to think it felt like a little "pulse" or "twitch" like you sometimes get in a muscle in your leg. It does take a few times to get used to it then you get obsessed with feeling it! Well I am whacked - off to get some homemade potato wedges and change into my jimjams DH has finished painting the nursery - its all cream but we have bought (and dh has put up already) a lantern style shade which is like rows of little flowers in pink and lilac shades. He has also put up a pink clock with flowers on it. We are sticking to cream curtains and a creamish black out blind but have bought a pink border with bunnies on it and matching cot bed set (from Mamas & Papas - which is like the Next of the baby world!) Now all we are waiting on is the furniture to arrive which should be coming in 2-3 weeks time. Anyway I've now bored you all. I promise I will post pics once furniture here and its all done.

Well for once looking forward to a Monday cos it means only 4 more days til I finish work. YIPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
