I was away over night and just got back. I read your email. I'm sorry that you are having this reaction to the progesterone. Is that a common thing? You are not being a baby! Don't think it for a moment. We are going through so much. You are allowed to complain a little. DId the cortizone cream help at all? Did you ever take progesterone shots before? Are you allergic? I hope your dr. visit goes well tomorrow and they can do something for you. I'm sure they can. I want to write more, but it's late and I just got in. I'll write more tomorrow. Feel good. Chriss

Well dr visit went well. Progesterone up to 38 yesterday. OK my progesterone shot was a complete debacle. They drew the circles to low so we were getting into too much fat and get this, we were using wrong tip to inject and to pull up. My sis who is a dr in florida came to the med class with me and she agreed that we administered in everywhere exactly how i was told. Kind of pissed me off but all is much better

I am back. How did the dr visit go? Are they keeping you on the progesterone shots? Do they know why you reacted like that?
I went today for the first sono since I started stims. I don't think I responded so well. So far, I only have two follicles that are 10mm and 2 or 3 that are very small. I don't know if they will get big enough. I started the meds Thursday night and it's Monday. Is it still early? Do they have enough time to catch up? They want me to continue the same dose of meds and then they see me again on Wednesday. I really hoped there would be more. Is there time for others to show up or grow? I remember you telling me that your first IVF cycle wa switched to IUI. How many follicles did you have? Do you think they will want me to do IUI instead? Am I jumping the gun here? I really don't know. I'm not sure where I stand. This is kinda nerve racking.
I copied your blackberry address. I have to admit, I know nothing about blackberries. I just use hotmail. I'm not on the computer that much at least when teaching. There's no time. I just check my emails whenever I can fit it in. I've never instant messaged with anyone. It seems like it's just you and me on this thread, we could just email each other instead. Do you go to any other threads? I've checked out "the over 40 crowd" and "august/sept cycle buddies". They are good. But I think I communicate the most with you. We seem to be so close in our experiences. Now... how can we get more follicles?????? I kinda don't know where I stand. On Wednesday I want to ask my doctor some more questions.

they say that your visit today cant really tell them much just that you have some type of stimulation. I had 1 at 14 3 under 10 on right side and and 4 under 10 on left side at this point. Ended up with 1 at 24, 18 on rite side and 1 at 17 on left. They thought they wer eonly gonna get the 2 on the rite but the one on left grew night before retrieval.
Dont jump the guun on anything. They also say that alot of women have to convert 1st IVF, its all a guessing game, they cant really know how u will react to stims until they try. BUT DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED... I understand that u have questions, and u should ask every questions u have. write them down and once u call your nurse or see the dr, u will be prepared. I killed them with questions, i went as far as to ask if they can freeze mature follicles for next time in case there wasnt enough for retrieval.
I know it sounds corny but u do only need 1, now ask me thsi next week after my prego test
August 18, Saturday, I go for 1st prego test then Monday again for 2nd.
My mom has been here from florida, helping me out and I swear this will kill her more than me if I gate BFN , not gonna think that way

Did i tell u i did accupuncture just before and after transfer?????
it was a study they did it for free, i ended up with laser accupuncture instead of teh needles, no clue what it did for me if anything.
Altho afraid of the needles i think they would have cleared my chi better
