Yay my computer is now fixed so I can say hello and help Jen with her 2ww. I am so sorry that I have not been around for you to bounce your worries and stuff on but my DH was 'fixing' the computer and i use the words fixing lightly and then it blew up :? We have just had the technician out to replace some mother board/ship/thingy and now i am good to go. I was constantly wondering how you were doing but I can't log on at work as I have an open office and people do not know what sites I visit as they do not know that id di IVF.

Do you want me to grovel as well? Thank god for Steph for being around to help you and now I see Ms Lola is back on board and going again in October maybe October 2007 will be the one. I hope that Jen can start the ball rolling with the BFP's. ET on the 20th has that been confirmed. OMG that is only a week away. How are you feeling about it all? Have the drugs knocked you for 6 yet or is it all smooth sailing? Hi to Steph and Lola and look forward to catching up to what you 2 have been doing... How is beautiful Faith we need a phot update and Lola don;t even get me started on your photo maybe you could send it to make up for not being on here that often

As for me I have finished booking my 6 week holiday overseas to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam and I can't wait I am going to do nothing but relax and read books. Also whilst I have been away I have managed to lose over 20 pounds I have been hitting the gym hard. I wish I could just have addedd them to my last weightloss that I amanaged to put on again  but not this time. I only have a 6 months to lose a total 50 or so pounds and then I am on the TTC wagon again and this time I am not stopping until I get my baby or 2 or hay I have waited 3 (just notall at once). I am getting myself into a positive mental state although sometimes that can be hard with 7 yes that is not a typing error 7 ladies at my work who are pregnant or just had a baby. Also one of the bosses in my work have allowed one of the ladies to bring their new born daughter into work until she is 6 months and she is so cute but a constant reminder that I do not have children. I am trying to look at my life in a positive frame so that I can get on with it and live a fulfilling one.

OK time to go and feed my DH. Take care and I will be back soon I promise.. Cheers, Walshy

And Jen OCTO05 will never die until we are all graduated to Babies

 Hey Walshy

Yep you can commence the grovelling to

Brilliant to hear you are about to start again. You sound really positive and determined, the break must have worked wonders, i'm really pleased for you. We were all getting worried as you sounded so down. Did you have the counselling while you were away and did it help dh. I remember he was struggling, is that right?

Your holiday sounds great, i'm well jealous. I have always wanted to go to Thailand but never been yet

Brilliant news about your weight loss. I am struggling and keep thinking the ivf wont work as i've put weight on. I keep thinking its something in my body thats stopping the embies latching on but i suppose its just my eggs being so poor, hopefully once we have young ones then it will work :?:

We dont know when ET is yet but it should be around the 20th. We have our scan on Wednesday, changed the time to 8.45am then will email IM and they will decide when it will be. All systems go once they email back. Will let you know as soon as i know.

I'm in your camp about Loops photo---it better come soon or i will be

Oh ye, dh showed me how to use messenger so i cant try it sometime.

Ok, will catch up soon

Take care

Hey! 2 days in a row - check me out I am the uber poster, heh heh heh. :D
So grovelling is required is it? Righto - as for the photo... I'm sorry!!! I'm just crap-o-la at techni things but I will do it!!! Promise!!

So my eagle-eyed friends... notice something different? Yes! I am a year older! a step closer to 40. It was my birthday a few weeks ago but I was so entrenched in AngerVille I didn't update thingy.

And Walshy returns!!! And has plans! Your holiday sounds fantastic love, 6 whole weeks. Can't believe the prego stats at your office - man alive. Nice work on the weight loss and you're right - no stopping until we're all on the other side!

Jemla first of course - so scan wednesday then you'll know when ET is right? Remember the third time lucky life raft? Now at the bottom of the ocean with a big hole in the side? The fifth time lucky life raft is a far more robust and reliable vessel with mega engine and swish white leather interior a la Miami Vice, boat drinks. This will work - FACTOID!
hey, did you get my email?

Steph donde esta mama? Look! Me and Walsher are back!! Attention us, good woman.

So, I tried to organise my tests today. The 1 billion pound genetic ones. Turns out my insurers have kicked my consultant off their list! Hee hee. Thank lord there is a notice period and so, after much toing and froing, they will front up and pay. Also tried to organise my HSG - no luck there either. Man, private healthcare is worse than the NHS!

had my spanish lesson today - I am a bit crappy but I love it! I'm so rusty after all these years back in the UK.

OK enough blathering on

Take it easy lovely ladies

Hi Girls.... so much fun to use a plural greeting again!

Walshy and Loops back to the fold of love.. although not sure the amount of groveling was equal to the months of absenses on your part. I think I need a little bribery and a lot of drink to fully forgive you both for abandoning the luv machine. .... oh, ok, you convinced me.. welcome back, she says grumbling. Nahhhhh.. welcome back!!!! am so happy to see you both! not only because it means more support for our gal Jens, but also because it means you are both able to come back here into the IVF world again.. healthy minds, strong hearts, clear eyes and all that...

Walshy- You are back to top Octofighting form and I am digging the tude. I am sooo glad you have decided to give it another whirl. You want mummyhood so badly I think it will come to you all. Congrats on weight loss!! absolutely brilliant. I am down 15lbs.. which met my goal for my vacation last week, but have set new goal of 20 more by Thanksgiving (November). Isn't it such a pain! I love to exercise, but also love chocolate and pizza and big chunks of any kind of bread... so the hard part for me is avoiding the yumminess ala food. Luckily the plan I am following lets me eat more after I workout.. so I always have room for more chocolate.

Loops- whew girl.. you are so steamy and gritty.. lovin it. To answer your e-mail.. I think you did right by your coworker.. tell her it is hard for you to hear and would rather not. but thanks anyway sista. you need to do what you need to do to be a sane person- especially at work where you should be able to escape some of this crap. some people like a pity party.. even if there situation is not even close to the situation you were in they like to think they understand.. but you feel like screaming.. the worse hasn't happened to you so shut up!@ Also- sounds like you kicked some insurance booty- i love to hear that! my insurance did not cover one drop of anything! keep stickin it to the man..

Jens- wow-ey.. thinks full steam ahead for you.. am so-blimely excited for you. I KNOW this is your time. Pom-poms are quivering with excitement and Demetrio is ready to shake his groove thang in victory celebration. Wednesday, Wednesday yeah Wednesday.. but how is your head? are you positives and puppies or still a little worried about how you have chosen to proceed?

As for me... vacation was great. We went with my friends and there hubbys from college... hanging in the pool, hiking (luckily Faith loves both) during the days and the hottub (kids bedtime) at night.. drink in hand and good friends.. what else does a girl need? oh.. besides a picture of LOLA who we have known now for almost two years and have no clue what she looks like!... Why won't you send pic? do you look like the character in the movie Mask? we will luv you anyway.. promise!

Peace
steph

Hi

Wow this is not good for my heart all these oldies popping back in----come on girls, i have enough stress at the moment

So glad all my muckers are back, just need Littles to appear and i will defo need to be dragged off to A&E

Having a nightmare day, just feel so stressed out and anxious. You know how i always hate myself cause of the weight thing, stress. Then Im emailed and reminded us to bring an extra 800 Euros for frosties (if we have any), was sure we were told that was included in price, anyway more money, more stress. Then my family are all fed up and groaning about life, stress, doing my svq, stress and this waiting game and not knowing whats going on in Big B, magor stress. Thank god i've got my counselling tonight----hope she has 6 hours to spare

I am such an organised person and like to have everything in place so having to wait and not know what is going on with the ed is driving me mad. When going through our other cycles, its the Ec, waiting to find out how many eggs we have then if they fertilize, which is the worse bit. I feel i dont know anything this time and just want some info. Emailed IM but they haven't replied :x and if they dont soon i will be up the wall

Loops - Got your email, i did reply. Was thinking of you alll the time you were absent. WHERE IS THE PHOTOS---we are going to hassle you everyday until its here on my pc

Steph - Glad you had a fab holiday. Get Demitrio to shake his groovy ass for some results from IM, please

Walshy - Come back, dont stay away to long.

Littles - How you doing, are you back in Dubai yet?

Ok off to do more studying and try to get my blood pressure back to normal

 Hi girls,

Just a quick update as its dh birthday and i cant abandon him for long. Part of his pressie was an x-box game so i ordered him on that so i can type you you guys

Had my scan and the ovaries are fine and the lining is 4.4mm. It has to be between 7 and 8 so we are half way there which sounds about right as IM said yesterday that ET would probably been either 2-3 days but most likely in the next week. I have to change my patch tonight then sunday so the lining might be in tip top condition by then

I emailed IM the results and hopefully they will get back to me tomorrow as soon as possible so we can book the hotel and flights as today is a holiday in Big B.

Hope your all ok, thinking of you. Will let you know the info tomorow as soon as IM email me. I will be up half the night, i cant sleep much just now, to much going on. Think i will be better when i know about ET---and EC---and eggs---and embryos---and flight---and hotel------------------------------------------------

Jens- it all sounds shake your tail feather perfect to me.. I love a good, cooperative lining! Although I am a horrible planner person, so like you, the wait to know when everything will be would drive me bonkers! But, have no fear that you are well on your way to a perfect BFP. I am at the present moment slipping into spankies and have pom-poms in hand.. Good I lost the 15 pounds, spankies fit alot better! although do not have peachy bottom as Lovely Lola... Demetrio comes to me when he prefers junk in the trunk.. lotsa junk.. a junkyard full of junk. Cause Baby Got Back! Will you have to do any shots after ET? What stage do they put in embryos at? how many days? how long is your 2ww? actually 2 weeks? happy Hubby Birthday! speaking of which...

Loops- I forgot to say Happy Birthday to you... so I will sing it instead.. Happy Birthday to you, happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Loopy, Happy Birthday to you..... and end with Demetrio jumping out the cake.. only wearing whip cream and a smile for his luvBug. Is that a tatoo? Did you get the big prick yet?.... um, bloodwork that is,, get your mind out of the gutter! How long will it take for results and all that jazz?

Walshy- hmmm. I think we deserve daily posts from you to make up for your very long... see ya later suckers.... plus, as extra punishment you must also sport the spankys and join the celebration dance with me and Demetrio when Jens is well and good knocked up.

:? Hi

Well still not any further forward.

Dr Rotondo called and we had a good chat. She said the donor is not ready yet but is pleased my lining is responding to the patches and to keep taking them. She said once the donor has her next scan, she doesnt know when yet, then she will call me if she is ready for EC. When she has EC then we will fly over and have ET 2 days later. She is guessing but said its likely it will be next week but cant say when?????????????
Forgot to ask, what if the eggs dont fertilize?

I also asked about the medications after the test. They provide medi for 10 days after ET then we can discuss when we are over there how we want to get more. She said lots of ladies dont buy any at that point just incase of a bfn, but she is prepared to let us buy the medi, get a prescription or get it in our country.

Speak later, have to pop out

Hang in there Jen!!!
Not long now! Then we'll wish away the 2ww until you get your phenomenal BFP!!!! Man, I cannot wait for your good news, for it is written! It will be good news this time! Trail blazer Jemla! It's been almost 2 years for us on this thread, good times are around the corner baby girl.

Well, going to have my uber blood tests tomorrow, hope they're ok and they don't find out that I actually have monkey genes for that would be an obstacle too far. I mean, I could have monkey genes - I do have hairy legs and am fond of bananas - will let you know. Have my HSG booked for the 30th so then I'll be all tested up by the time I get back from my trip to the states and ready for the red, amber or green from The Lav. Am dreading my next cycle, my first fresh for 2 years! 5th bloody go! Did any of us think we'd end up here, veterans?

How are the other octos??

I'm off to start planning trip - haven't even got the flights sorted yet

Take it easy my beauties!

Love, Lola

Woo hoo Jemla!!!

3 sleeps until your lovely embies are on board!!! Glad you have everything sorted and can now at last kick back a bit and enjoy this part. So when will you test??? The 7th Sept??? I'm so excited, I'm doing a spanky pants dance but without pants! This will be your time our Jen, I just blinking know it :D

Well I had tests done yesterday [.. in a lab somewhere in london..] Dr Spectaculario, look at this sample... it says human on the test tube but these genes are almost 100% monkey! Call the New Scientist, tell them to hold the front page!

Yes so just waiting for the dodgey genes crisis to unfold in this torrid path to baby.....

So where are the other octos??? Come back, we need more spankies in the chorus line!

Peace, Lola
