i have a small enquiry and if u can answer before i die of curiosity...i stopped my progestron supportis this morning and my blood test is on 20th......n i am having period like cramps...paid in lower tummy ...legs and back.....is it that my af is coming or anyone of u felt this way and still got ur bfp???????????????????????????

I am a little confused as to why your RE took you off progesterone? You are on your 2ww right? I would call and ask them just to be sure that is what they meant. I was on progesterone until week 10 and then wiened off gradually until week 12. Confusing?

Hi!
I am new to this lingo, so I am not sure what BFP is. But, i did get off my progesterone at 12 weeks (not sure what 2ww is that people refer to). SOme of the cramping is just blood flow and the uterus growing. I had cramp-like feelings too (I am 15 weeks). My Doc said as long as they aren't hard cramps w/ bleeding, its normal.
B/w the 10-12week your placenta is producing enough estrogen, prgesterones, whatever horomones are neccessary for the baby's health.

thanks for ur reply and you have always responded to my questions ..thanks very much.....my clinic follows that procedure...they stop progestron 12 --13 days post transfer and then test 18 days post transfer,,,its weird.....i had ohss symptoms this morning and i call them...they said doc will get back to me to discuss and no one has called me yet.......i am having period like cramps...hoping these 5 days to pass quick and i am craving to do home preg test but ia m worried same itme....what if it shows wrong positive

n hi karno....bfp is big fat positve lol (gals going ivf use these kind of short forms like dh for donor husband or dear husband....bfn is big fat negative,,,,thanks for ur response ...much appreciated....2 ww is 2 week wait after the egg transfer...i had transfer on 2nd....i my 2 week wait should be over today....but i have no idea why they want to do blood test on 20th that is 18 days post transfere
