yes..my appt is on 9-7. I'm not planning on returning to my current job but like you want to work from home...somehow. I don't think we can do it without my salary but DH is adamant that for the first few years I stay home and I'm all for it but......I look at my niece/nephew who did not attend daycare and my girlfriend has a 1 year old that stopped daycare and stopped really developing social skills and I get worried. I have every intention of attending many mommmy and me and gymboree and all those other things it just makes me nervous. I keep saying it won't be me sitting on the couch watching my "stories" and ignoring my precious new born but....I've seen it hapeen to so many women.

you will be a great mom, don't worry. I don't think we who went thru a lot, would ignore our kids. Sometimes I worried I would be like a mother hen and won't give my kids much space on their own:)

I am not planing to stay home forever and school my kids at home. Personally I am all for my kids to be around other kids, like you said, social skills are must.

Hey girls-

Rain, Rain, Rain- we've get a troical storm sitting on us today! That did not however, stop a friend and I from going to the mall! The friend had a baby so I got a lesson on how to load everything into the car without getting soaked. It really was a 2 person job!

Noodle- I'm glad you are in maternity clothes, it makes me feel better since I am too! But I'm not showing, just feeling fat!

Ok nap time! Talk to you all later!
Jenn

Awww Tanya I am so happy you get 1 of each!!

Malinka and Noodle I'm glad you both are doing well. I understand the daycare thing. My first 2 DDs were in daycare for the first few years but now for the last 8 years i have drove a bus and thankfully they can come with.

Well our amnio results came back and if not for that we would still not know because this little bugger likes to hide in my back. Before the amnio she tried and tried to get a pic to see the sex and NOPE... he would not turn. They thought that they would have to reschedule my amnio because of how he was laying..... OHhhhhh No she went to get the DR and as she was telling him that there was not enough space HE MOVED and gave them a clear shot...What a little bugger (he gets it from his dad) AND YES it is confirmed

I am still so excited about meeting my babies! LOL I cant wait until December when I can hold them. How wonderful! I love all the preparations. Thanks for all the well wishes......
I went to physical therapy today and he wrote a recommendation for my doc to pull me out of work due to back pain. I think that I am about ready. My back is just killing me lately. It is so hard at work to take care of all the things that I need to with this back....We will see. I dont know how the process goes....We leave tomorrow for our RV trip!!! Yeah!!!

Tanya - Yeah he is a little bugger. Yeah I was shaking and crying when they called and told me.LOL DH thought I was crying because they told me it was a girl.I wish I could go shop I would love to but with this one I have been so superstitious about all of that. I said that I would wait until 28 weeks until I buy anything just to make sure. I know that it's gonna kill me to wait but there is only 1 thing I will buy before then and it is this cute little hat and sock set in BLUE that says I Love Mommy I had told DH if they told me boy I was gonna buy it.LOL. I just won't buy anything else until 28 weeks which is Nov.7th not that I'm counting ha ha.You know how patient I am hee hee.
I hope that you have a great trip and take care.

Have we heard from Rikirees?

Hi everyone,

Steph, congratulations on your baby boy. That's great news. I got my amino results back yesterday and all is fine. They also confirmed that it is a girl. DH was still hoping he would have a son, but now we know definitely IT's A GIRL.

On the daycare issue.....with my twins I stayed home for 9 months. When I went back to work, I worked in IT support and was able to work the weekend shift (F-Su) and be at home during the week, so it worked out fine. When they were almost two they went to in-home daycare which I highly recommend. This time I will only need child care two days a week because both my husband and I work at home most of the time. I will be using home daycare this time also.

Rikkireese, please let us know how you're doing. I'm praying everything is ok.

Mattie

I am here! Just been staying off my feet for 2 weeks. Thanks for all your concerns. My singleton seems to be hanging in there. I am still only feeling flutters but we see on the monitor that it's moving around lots. It gave DH and I a thumbs up on Thursday, I hope he/she is telling us its all ok in here! The twins are not absorbing as fast as the Peri would like. He suggested removing fluid to help the singelton have more room but I am against that. It was so painful the first time. Cervix is still opening, though a bit slower than before. It was at .75 on Thurs. I think Dr is going to put the cerclage in next week. I am so scared of that :(
I am so happy for all the babies that have been identified! We arent finding out but i really really really want a boy. Sadly- my identical twins were boys, the dr's office let it slip.
My2: I wont be shopping for anything until after 30 weeks. I am WAY to superstious. I still havent accepted we are going to parents yet. I always have my guard up.
IVF/ICSI 3/07 Froze All 36 eggs
FET 5/07 BFP; DD born early (26 weeks) 10/07
IVF/ICSI 8/09 Froze all 30 eggs
FET 11/09 BFP! TWINS from just 1 frostie! YIKES.
20 Frosties left

rikirees - I am so sorry for everything that you have been thru. I'm glad to hear that your little one is still doing so well tho. I have read plenty about the cerclage because it was looking like I would have to have that done as well. I must say that it does sound worse than it is I read that many many more than not it can help a pregnancy go on until atleast 32 weeks or longer many people go over-due with those. I pray that all works out and it is nice to see I am not the only superstitous one.

MD - Congrats on the lil girl woo hoo.I do understand the wanting a boy thing.. DH and both of my DDs and I were wanting a boy..DHs DD is the only one who wanted a girl. I am happy because DH would have been so out numbered 6 to 1 lol.Even our dog is a female LOL.

Hoep everyone else is doing well & Having a great weekend.
