Hi,

My name is Lisa and after years of seeing a - sign WE finally got a ++++++++++ This all so new to me i cant belive it.... All i can say is it was worth every needle and blood test etc........... EVEN THE PIO INJECTIONS as we all know sooo well they are not pleasant to say the least. Anyway i thought it would be a great idea to start a thread for those of us due in April so we can share our journeys together.......

Thank you so much LisaPa for starting a new thread...I was kind of waiting for our girls to start gathering:)

My DH and I are trying to have baby for ever...Our first IVF try was a failure, and after doctors gave us 5% chance to succeed, we got pregnant at our second IVF. Up until two days ago I didn't have any symptoms, but yesterday I started to experience some cramps that are little bit too strong to ignore. Anyway, asking my doctor, and girls on this forum, everyone is telling me that it is normal and that I should relax. So, that is exactly what I intent to do!! My plan is to switch my brain to minimum and enjoy!!!

Not sure if you remember this from the other thread but i have been having those cramps (pretty scary huh. I did ask my RE about them and she said nothing to worry about just my body getting ready for the next 9 months.....I cant wait till i am showing... I have been a little sick now and then but nothing really bad i find that when i am hungry if i dont eat i will get sick so i am now eating 4-6 small meals a day.. when are you going for you u/s? I go back to re monday for more blood work i am going to ask the when i get it and how long till i go to the ob/gyn...I am hoping we will have alot of people in here due in april.

Hi Girls,

Hope you don't mind me joining this thread - was kinda hoping someone would start one foe April babies!! We found out we were pregnant about a week and a half ago after nearly 6 yrs of trying and on our 6th and final tmt!! Must be lucky number 6!!

Unfortunately we don't have an u/s until the 23rd Aug - its killing me the wait!! Its worse than the 2WW, I've also had some cramping, which I've been told is normal. I also have had stitch like pains (nothing major) on either side of my tummy - either of you two had those? No sign of m/s tho, which I'm glad about. Although I then worry that I have no symptoms!!!!

Anyway, congrats to both of you, here's hoping there will be plenty more Aprilo babies coming this way!

WELCOME.................. i also am having cramping on and off and pains in my sides both left and right in my ovarian area my R E said its normal its the bodt preparing for baby......I dont even know when i get m y u/s hopefully I will know more on MOnday when i go to my RE.

Welcome Kate21!! we have same due date girl, and even more interesting is the fact that if I give birth to a little girl we'll name her Kate:)



Nothing new with me; still have little cramps, but now I learn how to deal with it...My ultrasound is scheduled for the 20th of this month. And yes, it is almost harder to wait for that then it was for the test. My DH told me that this is nothing comparing to the 2ww.

CroElla - spooky that we have the same due date and that you will call her Kate if its a girl!!!

I know what you mean about dealing with the pains, you kinda get used to them, although give it time I'm sure there will be something else for us to worry about!!

Lisa - hope you're doing ok and the cramping isn't too bad? Made me feel better reading your post and the fact that your RE said its all perfectly normal!! Did you find out when your u/s is?

Hi Ladies,

Hope everyone is well..... Cramping is getting a little better i must admit the pains are not as sharp.... I have a question...Is any one else constipated..... I am going nuts here...I am going to start buying prunes. sorry if thats too much info.. As for my U/S i dont yet know when it is. I go for b/w today and i will ask the nurse if she knows how it works I have no clue how long i will even continue to see the RE... Belive me i with i could see her the entire pregnancy she is soooo nice but thats not how it works...

Croella-- My dh is with yours he thinks the 2ww was the worst and that all this stuff is nothing... ALthough lastnight he asked me when our sono is...
How are you dealing with your cramps? I will not take anything.

Lisa I'm not really constipated, but since I use to go 2 or 3 times a day - once a day is as serious for me as constipation. My RE also told me that it is stress that keep us from going sometimes....so, chamomile tea does wonders for me.

Hi ladies,

I went to get my blood work today and my beta was 402 sounds good to me . They seemed happy with it as well i go back wed. for another blood test also i am done with PIO WOOOOHOOOOOO. Not sure why she took me off sooo early my b/w showed >80 so i would assume everything is good. I did speak with her about the whole bathroom issue and she said good ol prune juice.... or dried prunes..So off to the store i went also she said the PIO can also make you constipated so maybe now that i stopped ill get some relif sorry if tooo much info....Cramps are getting much better. How are the both of you feeling. I hope all is well with both of you croella you get sono on 20th almost time woooohoooo I have to wait my RE does them 6 weeks after retrival so 7/27 six weeks from there 1st week sept. time is going soooo slow. LisaPa that is so strange, I am going to be taking Progesterone shots every night until 5th of September...And my numbers were really high too. On the day of my test hcg was 370 and the second one 4 days latter was 2340....

I am really happy that your numbers are so high and solid!! And don't worry, the day of your first sono will come soon too:)

I am finding that every RE does things diffrent.. Dont you think its strange how could 1 say i thing is good and another say another is good i dont get it also i think it goes by your progesterone leval...mine was >80 so i think thats how they figure it out. MY beta was 402 17 days post retrival Do you think thats high? i think its good but not high yours was much higher Maybe you have more than one in there........... Anyway have a great day....

Been kinda busy so haven't had a chance to post!! Things are good, still having the cramps on and off, tend to be worse at night! Is that the same with you guys?

They certainly do things different in the US than over here. I haven't had any bloods (and won't I hasten to add!!) so I have no idea what my beta levels are! Strange how things are done! Oh well, I will just have to wait until my u/s to see whats going on inside my tummy!

Lisa - how's you? Did you get any prune juice? I do have a similar problem and just put it down to the drugs - perhaps I should invest in some juice too!!

CroElla - you ok? I am so glad I don't have to take any shots! How's the cramping?

Hi Kate,

The prunes work...............I did buy both the juice and the dried prunes i ate 5 dried prunes lastnight that is 1 serving according to the package and i went to the bathroom this morning i also started eating alot of greens i had spinach salad for dinner lastnight so give it a try and good luck. I agree things are done very diffrently here.... Even from state to state things change.....Go figure ..As long as we all have great healthy babies and pregnancys thats what matters most.
