One Punter award coming right up. Did you know that instead of giving the winning Punter a congratulatory handshake, the award is dished up with a savage kick up the a$$?

What do some freaking people think, that we would inject ourselves multiple times per day, have cameras on sticks shoved up our nether regions etc etc in preference to having a nice cup of pregnancy tea. I don't know about you girls but I think I might go for the nice tea over IVF if it is such a damned sure thing. I think your neighbour is plain stupid and we should all feel sorry for the poor limited love.

PS I am in a bad mood and had a big fight with my brother last night for no apparent reason. Must have really scared him because he offered to mow my lawn on the weekend. Horomones.

Thank you Fee. I knew you would agree. She(the neighbor) is being nice, but she just doesn't understand that IVF is not guaranteed. She assumed that since they put two embryos in me I was pregnant and would be having morning sickness and was so shocked to find that I didn't need her tea for morning sickness. My mom always told me that you can't have a battle of wit with an unarmed person, so I will just let her be and continue to have her ask me about my "pregnancy".

Good on you for getting a lawn mowed out of the fight. You obviously won and he is feeling guilty. Keep it up Fee! You never know what he will do for you next! Maybe he can paint nogs room too.

Where are the other girls??

Amy- I don't know why but people just asume that once you do IVF it is a sure thing, and you will get pregnant. Every once in a while I'll tell someone we got pregnant the 2nd time we did IVF and they look at me shocked and say "it didn't work the first time?" "Why not, what happened?" It kills me every time. I want to shout at them. I don't know why I think everyone should be sympathetic and know what to say all the time about infertility, but I get mad when they don't. Sorry your neighbor upset you.

Um Fee? I need my yard mowed as well, so next time you fight with brother could it be my turn to reap the rewards?

Oh girls- I did bad- I thought I wanted Taco Bell for lunch. :? Haven't had it in years and now I remember why! I've been hurtin and runnin for the dunny all afternoon. I'm pretty sure THAT craving won't be returning any time soon!

Gotta run!
Jenn

Oh Ha ha, oops, I thought the pregnancy tea was supposed to get you pregnant, not ease the preg symptoms. I am so dumb these days (but hopefully not as stupid as Amy's neighbour). I never regret not telling people about IVF so I wouldn't have to deal with stupidity like that..

Jenn nice use of dunny although sorry about the Taco Bell incident. That doesn't sound too flash. It's only a matter of time before I lash out at little bro again. Consider your lawn mowed...

Where are all the other sisters???

I guess I chose the totally wrongest time to take a break huh!

Sassy, I am so sorry about your friend! And your cycle what a shi++y couple of weeks huh! I will keep you and your DH in my prayers and I hope you start to find strength in the memories of Audrey and your friendship! This isn’t going to be an easy time for you – but know that The Lord has a plan for you, and I know you will look to Him for guidance and courage during this time. And know that we are here for you too! I am sorry I wasn’t here for you!!!!

Fee- Did your brother wind up mowing your lawn??? If he can pull weeds send him my way! My back has been hurting so badly that I can’t bend over to pick up the weeds… so my lawn is looking like a rain forest! Did you guys make up?

Amy- I am so sorry your neighbor is a dummy head, what an uneducated moron! People are just idiots, that is all there is to it! I hope you are doing well, and ready for your next cycle!

Jenn- Taco Bell!!!!!!!!!!!! What in the world were you thinking? That Butterbean would like that processed-processed food? You poor thing! I guess sometimes we need a refresher as to why we take a break from certain foods, plus as we get older our tummies can’t handle the same things it used to be able to.

Angie- I hope your Dr. appointment goes well!!!!

I know there is a lot more I am missing, and I am sorry! I have been swamped with work and re-rolling out a new marketing plan for my company – started a blog, check it out, http://masterpieceweddings.blogspot.com/ and honestly, just working my tail off! I am not complaining, but I am wiped out, and it’s uh, Monday!!! I miss you guys like crazy!!!! Sorry for my absence at the most inconvenient time E.V.E.R!!!

XXOO!

Mel

Hey Jenn!!!

(Sorry for the Butterbean type-o - I changed it!)

I am sure the appointment will be fantastic, but ya know sometimes I forget I am a cancer survivor, it's just part of me, and that's who I am- so when I saw Annual OB/GYN appointment on my calendar I thought, heh, it's just a PAP, but then I got to thinking... well, I guess it's not just a PAP anymore... huh! 8)

I hurt my stoopid back falling off a chair exercising! I knew that exercising was no good for ya! I tried to tell everyone, but they didn't listen to me! But I start Spinal Injections on Friday so that should help with the pain, and then I can work out harder and hopefully loose some of this fat that's been plauging me! :o

So how's your, uh... dunny visits?

Yay, welcome back Mel. I did make up with my bro, sent him a text message later on the evening of the fight apologising for my behaviour. The lawn was mowed two days later...After Jenn's lawn you are next in line. Its only a matter of time before the next blow up so I think those weeds' days are numbered.

I also like your ticker. Good luck with the check up I'm sure you will be fine.

Jenn hope the after effects of Taco Bell have left your system. I had Taco Bell a couple of times when I was in the US and I loved it.

I have had an appt with OB today who used v dramatic language to describe my iron levels i.e. 'rock bottom'. In addition to having iron supps I have to eat red meat twice per day (ummmm I was a vegetarian for seven years - but Oh well...) stop drinking tea and also drink this weird "iron water" from Wales. Hope that all does the trick as am feeling quite tired. Nogs on the other hand is like a parasite and drains everything he needs from my system so he is fine. In fact measuring a couple of days ahead. Also good news on the placenta front with no need for a caesaraen now...

Enough about me, where are me other mates. Angie, how was your new doctor??? I'm dying to know.

Sass hope you are bearing up. I imagine you are quite busy at the moment.

I think Patie has probably been snapped up to design for Chanel in Paris, that would explain her absence nicely.

Well best be off, have to try to do some sort of work...

Fee

Fee - Nice to know that Nogs is doing well. The fact that you are probably one giant bruise and a shade of lavender is quite the other. Have you been having an urge to chew ice? I was also anemic for DS's pregnancy and had this strange compelling drive to eat crushed ice all day. I would stop at the Quickie Mart by my house everyday on the way to work and pay the guy a quarter for a giant cup of ice to eat for the day. It was strange.

I have a huge lawn so when you have a monster blow up, send him out here -but only if you really hate him cause our yard is a punisher. Especially if you don't use the riding mower.

Sass - Been thinking of you. Hoping all is well with you.

Angie - I too want to know what the new Dr is suggesting. Any new plans??

Mel - Glad to hear you have just been busy and are not breaking up with us. How is the cooch?

Jenn - Are you so excited to not be in 'back to school' mode right now? How are you feeling?

Robbo - Hang in there and don't smile for a few more weeks....

Patie - If you are designing for Chanel, I would love your cast offs. Where are you?

Vicky - Are you around somewhere?? How is Sanson?

Well I am off to shower. DS started first grade this week and it has been less than stellar. His teacher is not the happiest lady you have ever seen and she yells like a banshee. Hoping he can hang in there.... Maybe he should do first grade in Australia.

I am just having the worst day E.V.E.R! It started out good, but now all of a sudden has taken a turn for the worst, and I am devistated! I'll get into details later, I am just too hurt and upset to even talk about it right now.

Amy- The Coochie is good - I think my AF is an entire week early! So something is off, but other than that, it's doing fine, how's yours? 8) What happened with Ds and his first day of first grade? And don't worry, I wasn't planning on breaking up with you, anytime soon, and if I was - it wasn't you, it was me!

Fee- I am so glad you and your bro made up and you got your lawn mowed, way to go! Thanks for the luck!!!!

Sassy- I hope you are doing well, I've been thinking about you darling!

Angie- I am getting worried that, that doctor of yours was some freak and tried to impregnant you on his own and now you are being held hostage under ground in some bunker... speak up! Are you okay?

I hope everyone else is okay! Vicks, Robbo, Ange, Patie, Jenn, Wanna, Nickster - did you break up with us???

And can I just say one more time what a crap-ass day I am having! But I have lost 16lbs!

Dont' forget to check out my blog'ness http://masterpieceweddings.blogspot.com/

Hey girls!

I have not broken up with you, I am going out of town for the next week and a half so I may be out of touch. DH is supposed to bring laptop so he can complete his fantasy football draft while we are away. It is apparently very important business! We will be out west in California. If the computer accompanies us I will try to stay in touch.

Mel- I'm so proud of you for losing 16 pounds!!! Sorry you are having such a bad day. Who do I need to beat up for you?

Amy- I'm actually a little sad to not be back in the classroom. And last week when I went to the store and saw the bins of glue for 20 cents I got excited and started loading them into my cart and then realized I didn't need 30 bottles of glue at my home. A little embarrassing! Then the other day I went and it was down to 17 cents a bottle and that pissed me off, because that means they let all the suckers (teachers and parents) load up on the 20 cent glue thinking it is a good deal. Then when we all go back to school-- they lower the price. I have them figured out now. Wow! sorry for that little mini rant... And I'm sorry you are less than pleased with your son's teacher. I am not a fan of the yelling. It gets you no where. I didn't want to be remembered as the teacher who yelled all year so I kept it down. That way if my voice did get stern and a little louder than usual- they knew I meant business!! You could always send him here- I could teach him  I'd send him back on the weekends!

Ok- bye for now, gotta go do laundry and pack...

Take care everyone!
Jenn

Jenn - I hear you on the price dropping! That is a dirty trick! They know teachers can't wait until after school starts because we are all so OCD that we buy at the first scent of paste in Target... and then they drop the prices once we have bought class sets. It is a rotten world.
Where are you going to be in California? You can swing by and pick up DS for awhile. I am sure he would be SO happy to have anyone else teaching him! I wholeheartedly agree on the yelling. My students always knew if I ever got to raising my voice, that it was serious and they knocked off whatever shinanigans they were trying to pull!
Oh, and fantasy football is way important right now. Wouldn't want him to miss out on his first round draft picks...

Mel - Glad you are back. What is going on with the worst day ever?? I am sorry it is so bad, but the sisters are problem solvers - so you lay it out there and we will solve it.
Good coochie report is always a positive! One less thing to worry about and on to more IVF!

I am still having weird spotting. It is getting annoying. I never really had a heavy 'flow' after this last BFN so it has been a bit strange. I was thinking with all the blood thinners it would be worse, but apparently not.

It is hotter than a M'Fer out here today so I am off to go and check on the chickens. Hoping they aren't dying out there!

Oh ladies....

Fee: suddenly becoming a twice a day meat eater? Anything for nogs! Hoping it boosts the levels. Glad to hear he is still growing like a weed.

Mel: sorry for the horrid day... Here's to a clean coochie cancer checkup!

I'm sorry I have been MIA. Just so much going on, and nothing good (although my spirits are fine). So just didn't feel like posting at all.

Things have only worsened on the bil-stealing-our-money front. It appears he had hacked into dh's office email network, thereby having access to most of our financial information (and sending emails in dh's name to our financial institutions). Long (and I stress VERY long) story short... he has, in the last 48 hours used wire transfers to siphon several thousand $ out of our bank account (luckily, he couldn't get into our investment accounts), and had changed the personal information on our bank accounts and old credit cards which he then attempted to reactivate. We were up until 3am last night chasing him around the internet hot on his tail as he attempted to change passwords, and then do balance or wire transfers using inactivated credit cards from years ago. I won't bore you with all the details, as I do believe this would become quite the epic post. Lets just say it is an ongoing nightmare. We have pretty much everything locked down now (which is quite a pain when someone else is constantly attempting to undo everything you are securing). He was still trying it this morning, but we are covered quite well at this point... in fact, I think we finally one step ahead. Now we are just waiting to see if he will become physically aggressive to get our money. He is pissed. Not only that dh turned him in for the e.scalade, but also b/c he feels entitled to our money (he has always had a jealousy problem with dh), and is having a hard time getting to it. We are trying to get all the documentation of the paper trail together so that the two of us can go submit a report at the police station before leaving town on Saturday.

As for my friend, I am back to making calls today notifying people of her services on Monday (it was a nightmare for her family to get her body back... they expect to arrive tomorrow).

As for my cycle (b/c really... I don't have enough going on  ), my estrogen was a little high today.... so back for a dildocam rendezvous tomorrow for a look-see. I need to paint the toes tonight!

Hello to the rest of you, unfortunately no more time for personals as dh and I are escaping for dinner tonight and he keeps telling me he is HUNGRY.

Hi Ladies - I am at home today so finally time to post. Had an unexpected appmt with DR D and the dildo cam  I have a really bad paid in my lower right side and he has signed me off work for the day. To start with I went to the local GP - she was lovely - after boring her with my long sorry IVF histroy and telling her it was 8 weeks since AF she gave me urine test (BFN) a blood test ( to test no ectopic - unlikely - but my imagination had run wild and I was convinced that was the pain and I was going to rupture)

Anyway GP said probably Mittelschaft or some other german word meaning middle pain - signalling ovulation may be occurring. For me a lady with PCO - this is quite an exciting concept (Fee will understand this).

Then trapsed all over town to see dR d - Dildo cam showed a 15 mm follicle - DR D was as usual non-commital but gave me 5 ovulation tests to test for the surge - hmmm this will be interesting over the next few days.

So DH and I may have to S*X alot over the next few days - hmm - honestly don't think we have time - this was not scheduled at all!
He is way busy working on the new house and trying to co-ordinate a plumber who won't even give us a quote and then we are going ski-ing for the w/e with friends and then I have to start planning my trip - I fly in 2 weeks to the States

This s*x business won't fit into the schedule at all!

So the question is are the Chinese herbs making a difference? I was supposed to be having a break from all this IVF lark until Oct - instead I've been immeresed in it all day!

Thanks also to everyone for asking about the new dr - we will call her Dr F - she was good - much better communicator than Dr D. She said on a few occasions she thinks our chances are still very good/excellent. In fact - get this all you multiple IVF'ers like me - she reckons your chances only start diminishing after 10 embies have been transferred - (we are up to 6 so far).

I am going to have a Day 2 blood test when I get back from US - it will check again whether i have pco or pcos - I think i just have pco . Then she thinks use the remaining 4 frosties ( 2 by 2) and if no luck a new cycle in the new year - she will be happy to do blast transfers too which is good (Fee I asked her about your thaw cycle protocol - she has done it before but says hard to do, to control the level of response to the drug etc etc )

God what a rambling post . Sorry for that. If anyone is online now come and say hello. I am enjoying my sick day - wish the pain would go away thought. I won't be able to ski at the w/e if it remains.

Glad you US ladies are enjoying your summer - will the East coast still be warm in a couple of weeks? Help - I have no summer clothes -they are all packed away -what shall I bring.

Come and say hello if anyone is there.
