Hi townncity,
Good luck on Wednesday!!!! I had my 3 day transfer (FET) done on sat the 11th and my test is on thursday the 23rd. I took digital test today again and after about 30 seconds it said pregnant, but i had 4 embies trasfered, so may be more than one took, that is why it is showing so early on digital. hang in there!!!!

Running out the door, just checking for those ladies who have their tests today...GOOD LUCK

Jenni, Stress...I can't imagine losing a family member and going through IVF ... how amazing you both are...

Vlada, Oh! I didn't read this right before, you have to wait until the 23rd? oh gosh, that is a wait...but then again, sometimes not knowing isn't that bad...love the sounds of your positive HPT...You crack me up with the HPT tests! you go, girl

..and I have lost lots of credibility with my hubby, who now is quite sure that, if this pregnancy sticks, I'll be using it for an excuse to get out of work stuff...as IF...I mean, if this really IS a twin pregnancy, there will be No heavy lifting)...he's trying to get me to hire a housekeeper (I flunked that class, and HATE to clean, except the kitchen...)...oh well. I'll find one...he wants us to have a live in. I want a Girl Friday who is young and has her own car and comes a few hours a day and is a student...more fun for me (dust bunnies? What dust bunnies?)...already have a cleaning crew each week...

Going to get my second HCG test today...I had horrid pains in my ovaries yesterday so I am not too hopeful that this'll stick. Sigh.
Wish me luck.
:o :) :D

Hi everyone,
I'm sorry to say that I can't chime in on all the positive results this week. I got my BFN today and am having a really tough time handling it. I know it's gonna take some time and I'm doing my best to get through it. My mind is racing as to what to do next, but I think I may give it a rest for a little while. I am physically, emotionally, and mentally drained. I hope everyone has better luck than me. I will contine to check in with you all and wish you nothing but the best.
This is my second try at IVF, the first being in a third world country not too advanced in this area. Someone help me realize that i just sometimes takes several attempts, please. I"d love any support you can give.:(

hey girl, sorry about your BFN. Sometime it does take couple of time before it will work. Just don't lose any hope.

I did 3 fresh cycles, and I had 2 canceled ones. So I know exactly how you feel. But trust me there is a light at the end of a tunnel. I am pregnant on my 3rd attempt ( I went to another doctor). So all you need is to make a good research and find out a good doctor or stay with your current one and change a routine. Schedule a follow up and ask some questions, don't be afraid.

Good luck and please stay positive!

RMSM,
I am very sorry that it didn't work for you this time. I don't knnow if this is any help but we were ttc for 7 years , did 4 IUIs and one IFV ICSI which was negative. It does take several tries sometimes. It is a good idea to take a break though, you need to regroup and try again with fresh mind and healthy body. I wish you the best, you will get you BFP!!!!!

Hi Bean,
Well, first time when we did fresh IFV ICSI i had a horrble case of OHSS and ended up in the emergency room for 8 hours, so it was not a very good experience, i hope it won't happen to you, its no fun. This time we are doing FET and it is soooooooo much easier. Oh and i had a nervous break down at the doctor's office during my fresh cycle as well as bad panic attacs at night time , i think it was due to hormons.
That is my story :)

I too have read a lot of posts, as this site has really helped during IVF, but have not posted much.

However, today I am 12dp2dt, and I got a BFP!!! I had dreamt about double lines, then woke up at 5:00 am to realize it was just a dream. I was so disappointed, so I went and POAS. Couldn't believe my eyes when I really did get two lines. I ran back to my sleeping hubby and it was just like on Christmas morning trying to wake up my sleeping parent! I was sooo excited, and I couldn't wake him up fast enough! Poor guy.... After 13 years of marriage and 7 years ttc, it truly is a miracle. I convinced my doctor to let me do BW today, even though I am not really scheduled for it until 8/22.

It is funny how during the 2ww you are super aware of every twinge and pain and you question everything. Just thought I would share some of the the unusual things I noticed. I am not sure what to attribute to the PIO shot and what truly are symptoms.
 First unusual thing, starting on about 4 days past transfer, I had a clear discharge (TMI??) And then over the next few days it went to a creamy white with no odor, and I have continued to have this type of discharge every day.
 Then, I have had AF like cramps, not bad, but just to the point that it is noticable. Especially with the discharge, it really throws you off because it feels like AF has arrived. My sides have also been sore, but I think that is mostly the ovary, because it has been through alot!!
 I have also had some pretty bad headaches and over the last few day my back has been starting to ache. (Could be because my uterus is tipped back.)
 And last, I have felt drained of energy more than usual. I have 5 flights of stairs in my home, which has never before been a problem. But I have noticed that after going up to my room (just 2 flights) my muscles have felt weak. In addition, when I stretch, like first thing in the am, muscles all over my body will cramp slightly, almost like charlie horse cramping.

Anyhow, I am not sure if these symptoms are a product of overanalyzing everything, but they are just things I have noticed that have been out of the ordinary for me.

Congrats to Cocoa, Vlada, Woodcliff, and Aliann!! Here's hoping for a lot more BFP's for all of you!!
