Quick Q for those of you who didnt get pg 1st time round -

can any of you ladies who didnt get pg on first time tell me...when did you get your af after failed tmt? My ICSI faled on 10th July and still havent got af (by my calculation its now day 34 after that, I usually bleed b/w day 28-34). Am off on hols tmrw and for obvious reasons would quite like to know when I should expect af!! Is it usually a bit delayed after tmt or is there a chance I might not get one this month? Before anyone says it!!....I know am not pg as we had to use ICSI to get any good sperm. I know there probably isnt an answer to this except...it'll come when you are wearing your white bikini!! Hi Caz My AF arrived spot on time. I've always been as regular as clockwork and amazingly I wasn't affected by treatment. I hope it manages to stay away long enough for you not to worry about it whilst on holiday. I'm sorry your cycle failed - keep positive for the future though! take care. Helen xx

Hi Caz Sorry your treatment hasn't worked this time round. However, just because you had ICSI does not mean you might not be pregnant!!! However, when my first treatment failed last year, my period came on day 16 after E/T. Have you taken another pregnancy test? I hope this helps Have a good holiday, are you going anywhere nice?? Caz I am no help as my turned up as regular as clockwork - normally 10 to 12 days post ET on a full IVF - normal 28 days on my natural FET and then nothing and I was/am pg Hang in there and hope all works out Love Tracey xxxxxxxxxx

Hi Caz We had 1 round of icsi because of dh's low sperm count, which was a no-go. after being about 10 days late i did a test and i was pg - we'd been trying for 5 years. Don't rule it out. If there's still nothing in a few days, do a test, and if nothing a few days after that, do another one. Sometimes a combination of relaxing afterwards (you don't realise the stress you've been trhough until you finish the treatment) and the fact that you are still full of hormones, does the trick. Im certainly not the first person this has happened to! Good luck!!! Love Rachel x

Thanks guys Still no sign of af. Stupidly did a pg test yesterday ( well had to put it out of my mind didnt I?!) and def negative- which I knew it would be of course. So now I guess I just wait. Just hope the delay is nothing serious - sure its not - I guess the hormones just take a while to get out of yr system. Take care and thanks again! Cazx
